Most of the members use it as a blog or art gallery alternative although there are flaws that prevents this function: the tweets are ephemeral, the arts are now "fast food" and the goal is to get the most of likes and retweets in a short time. As far as I understand, Twitter's first purpose is to share how they are doing. It used to lacks images so all contents are in texts. Now it is nothing but a cancel culture echo chamber social network. Wonder if Twitter was better if it keeps its primary use.

One question: in your demonstration of setting up a tweet (in this case promoting one of your videos), you add lots of 'hashtag phrases' (#linkedin, #linkedinforbusiness etc etc), saying "As always you should be adding hashtags ... they work as a reference tool ... " and so on. I'm sorry, I don't really understand this bit. Where did you get this hashtags and what function do they have? Are they other accounts of yours? You say they'll direct people to your videos but I'm not sure I see how. Could you explain where you found or generated these hashtags, how you decided which ones to put there? THEN ... you said if you wanted to include the clickable link in the post you would "just do it" but what you did was so quick it was hard to see what exactly you were doing. So where did your link come from? What was that drop-down menu you displayed? THANKS!

Think of it like of fashioned indexed cards in library and how that would then lead to the section or even book that you want. Or to use a modern day example just like a Goggle search. Anyone can use the search bar at the top to key in a word i.e. " Australia " and up will pop all the Tweets where people have include the hashtag #australia. So you add the 3 - 5 hashtags that best represent what you video is all about. With the clickable link well thats the UA-cam generated link starting like this - ua-cam.com/video/YXbe2T91kYs/v-deo.html This is another video of mine you can watch all about using Hashtags . Do you mean tag someone in your Tweet Muuk ?you can send a direct message to someone that no one else would see but in theory if you tag someone in a tweet it can be found by anyone if they go looking for it

Once you send the message it’s then up to the receiver to actually view it and if they’re a popular person you are right they may get lots of 100’s or 1000’s of DM

165 now Joy as I just followed you back. Twitter is the 5th platform that I've been created videos on and that's mainly come about because people were asking me for them. UA-cam and LinkedIn have been my main focus this year but that's now changing with Instagram and Twitter now more of my focus . Oops correction I now follow 185 people

You can mention someone in a tweet if that’s what’s you mean ? So your tweet appears on timeline of tweet but not theirs
