Ami - made me chuckle when you appeared in the tub! Listen, if I can say this properly -- your niche in this Starch Solution world is that you began by posting what you eat each day and really showing the true life of day to day eating -- yes...even if it's oats and broccoli every single day because, frankly, we all try to make this too difficult. So, while I enjoy your creativity, don't forget that why we love you is because we need the reminder of simple day to day eating and "living." I enjoy seeing you grab an apple while you go play with your kids -- go live your life and we are blessed when we get to see a glimpse. Hope this makes sense.

My homemade coffee creamer that doesn’t curdle is 1 cup oats and 1 Tblsp almond butter, a bit of vanilla, a bit of maple syrup (optional) and a pinch of salt, 500 ml water. Super good!

Oats - ALWAYS ORGANIC. Not that much more expensive but WAY less GLYPHOSATE/ROUND UP. Protect YOUR HEALTH.. ESPECIALLY when ALL of your calouries comes from plants foods. Staple/most used /everyday foods is very important to be clean as possible from heavy metals/pesticides.

Love your honest talks!!!!! Keep doing what you’re doing!!!! I am the grandma that Jeremy mentioned to you that my 9 yr grandson Jeramyah & I LOVE watching yours & PB with J channels! Right at this moment, my very picky grandson ate a blended oat meal for dinner! He knows from your videos he’s eating vegan (veggies) but he still loves it because of
you & your children eating the same things! ❤❤

PS you display such patience when including your kids on your videos. I didn't have kids but when I did involve my nephews or anyone else's kids it was very difficult to have the patience when children want you "help". Or get involved in anything. Knowing that it would slow the process down, or make a massive mess. People that have the patience and the skill to properly instruct anyone at any age to do anything! Has got talent. The one skill I wish I could perfect. You're a very loving mum, and your family should be very proud of you and your accomplishments...

Mindful eating is my new approach. Sometimes we just eat and dont take the time to appreciate the food for our healthy bodies. Sometimes I think what would it be like to sit and eat with Buddha...silly but I think I would eat mindfully and slower. Allowing the body to digest and appreciate the food made with my hands.

Wow, I came to the same conclusion about the purpose of life is finding joy wherever you can this morning and then watched this video which just reinforced it! To that end I’m trying to be more ‘present’ instead of living on auto while my mind is always somewhere else! It’s taken me 60 years to come to that conclusion, so happy you found it sooner. ❤️. OMGoodness! I loved to hear of your resolution at the end of your vid. To be honest you displayed a lot of that "on screen!". Meaning on your videos you communicated and involved your family in loving ways and are showing US your real life steps throughout your busy schedule! I can understand behind the scenes snapping at kids or even husband due to stress or feeling anxiety. Or just hangry? I've had the same resolution every year just be happy, congratulate yourself on feeling good physically and mentally. YOU have a lot on your plate to juggle. You are 100% right no one knows what will happen at any stage of our lives. Keep up your amazing energetic, funny entertaining videos. You make me SMILE. Cheers to another successful year ahead. If you heat up the homemade oat/cashew milk it won’t curdle. I use a little machine that whips and heats my oat/cashew milk every day so that I have a foamy milky topping for my coffee but you can gently heat it in a saucepan stirring it the whole time and then pour it into the coffee. Hope that works for you.

Hi Ami, I found that if the milk is really cold and the coffee is really hot thats when the homemade milks curdle. Try pouring a bit of milk in a cup and letting it sit out while making the coffee and let the coffee sit for a minute in your cup before adding the milk. Unless you like scalding coffee your drink will still be hot enough. I've been using hemp milk lately. Nice rich texture. 😋 Hope this was helpful. Good luck. Love to hear if it works.

Have you tried the drinks you mention with soya milk? Soya milk is creamier than many other plant milks and is nutritionally very similar to cow's milk. I make a hot choc drink with soya milk heated in a pan, adding some cacao powder to my specific taste (I use cacao rather than cocoa as it's the more nutritional of the two) and I add a little bit of coconut sugar at the end and whisk it all in the pan 🙂 I also use soya milk to make chai at home - I put two chai teabags in a pan of soya milk and heat through and a little bit of coconut sugar whisked in at the end 🙂👍

Exchange rate aside! 😊 the final price of produce is greatly lower in England. Packaged food is less too in most cases. I live in North Carolina but spend several months a year in England and my fiancé is there now and is a British citizen. I had to comment because it’s sad that the US grocery store prices are so high even on our local products.
