I hope you enjoy today's video! Let me know in the comments what kind of content you'd love to see more of and any requests! Immy x
I need to make that banana bread recipe
also love the videos as always
Love the video and love that you’re showing more of daily life and yourself in a less edited way 🥰
@@Tudsepigen right I love it too, she continues to inspire me for my own yt channel how is she so amazing
Not boring at all. I actually really appreciate the messy week - it makes me feel less alone & less of a mess myself!
Such a beautiful video! And I'm so glad you enjoyed the lemon orzo pasta salad and banana bread :)
Just ordered your book!! Congratulations!
Dear Immy, this video was not boring at all and I actually loved how chaotic and realistic it was! We all have "off" weeks and people who menstruate can have such different diets week to week depending on where in their cycle they are. I really enjoying seeing this, as it's a great example of how our lives are messy and real and sometimes we eat nothing but the same thing for each meal. Anyways, you are one of my most favourite creators on UA-cam and I always look forward to watching your videos. Other channels I really like are Miranda Goes Outside, Beryl Shereshewsky, Homemade Wanderlust, Elsa Rhea & Baron, Exploring Alternatives, Wild We Roam and Carla Lalli Music.
6:25 - “I’ve written a book… yah, wild, I know.” says Immy so casually. “WHAT a book… oh my gosh… I’m super stoked to pour over every page”, says this book loving gal. Suddenly now I have this vision of me kicking back with your book and a coffee. Is there more to life? I am so very excited about this… Immy, you never cease to amaze me with all your talents and passions!! Ⓜary💕📚
I bought an Aarke carbonator instead of a Sodastream because they're made from metal (not plastic!), seem durable and have a cool Scandinavian design. They can use any typical CO2 cartridges for this kind of machine. Highly recommend!
I donated my soda stream bc 🍉 so good to know that there are other options!
Please tell us about your adventure summer plans. I can't wait to be excited by proxy :D
Ooooh ok will do in the next one !!
Honestly the chaotic videos are always comforting to me. It represents how life is and how everyday can really depend on what's going on physically and emotionally. Thanks Immy!
Sodastream are on the BDS list for mistreatment and discrimination against Palestinian workers - would recommend using an alternative x
Came here to say this
🇵🇸🇵🇸 happy to see comments about the bds here
Wow didn’t know this.
Sabra hummous is also on the list.
2:58 - the giant spoon just totally makes my day!!!! Thanks for sharing this. Ⓜary💕
I have a dental condition that causes my teeth to break and fracture, so the ‘soft foods’ struggle is well known in this house 😂 my favorite after dental work is just mixed veggie soups. You can put literally whatever veggies you have in there, season it in whatever way you’re feeling that day and just mix it until smooth. It is super filling and comforting, and easy to adjust for seasonal foods!
Congratulations on the book 🎉
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
My boyfriend has long curly hair and is getting some silvers. I think they accentuate his curls so nicely! It really makes them pop. Hope you feel better and thanks for the recipe inspo!
There’s a handy setting (at least on iOS) to increase the time or never turn off your display. I use it all the time when following digital recipes. 😊
omg what a game changer thank youuuu
The"it's a natural change...for free" comment made me lol but also it's an excellent point!
I actually loved this more chaotic 'real' and raw video so much more than your perfect going videos. So..just wanted to put that out there :)
If you haven't tried already, just add red chili powder to your lemon pickle along with peppercorn and bay leaf. It tastes soooooooooo good, you can actually eat it with the tortillas just like with a curry.
My son absolutely loves sparkling water, and we could not afford to continue to buy them in a can. So I found a SodaStream, two actually, at my local thrift store. The canisters that came inside of them even still had carbonation. So we used up those canisters until they were empty and then took them to Walmart to exchange them for half the price of a new carbonation canister. He loves it! Fresh sparkling water whenever he wants it!
Your videos remind me to live slowly and intentionally. I wholeheartedly appreciate your honesty and thoughtful approach to life. Thank you for being here ❤️
I actually LOVE the bits of chaos as it makes these videos SO much more relatable!
Have a fantastic day/night whatever and a great week ahead!
Love everything about this video. The food, the amounts of food being eaten 😂, the rice pudding "gone wrong", the Palak Paneer and your fantastic view on white/grey hair.❤
Hopefully the tooth saga is soon to end.
Have you looked into making soda with a ginger bug? Would love to see your take and could help with the La Croix craving.
I love this type of videos.
If you have good water where you live a carbonater(?) is definitely worth it! I use mine daily.
Regarding gray hair, I call it new year tinsel, like a celebration that you actually are allowed to age. That we are still here. ❤
7:44 omggg this looks delicious
love all of your videos! Especially ones like this that feel very organic and realistic, some weeks are just like that! I hope your teeth are feeling better and that not butter chicken recipe looks so good! Daring chicken is also a favorite of mine!
I finally got myself a soda stream a year or so ago and I love it. You always see them at thrift stores! The canisters last a long time and you exchange them back at certain grocery stores (luckily for me, the store I normally shop at has the canisters)
Love that you enjoyed the curry Immy! Miss you ❤❤❤
It is SO GOOD! We made it again last weekend ❤️
Not bored at all. LOVE your videos and that you keep it so darn real. "My first mistake was making an American recipe". LOL. I'm American and laughed too hard. Also you're human- and hope you feel better soon! Thanks for allowing us a little peek into your life!
I watch Rainbow Plant life and Sarah's vegan kitchen. I also watch, Pick up limes, Gaz Oakley, sweet simple vegan, fit green mind and divine chef, food impromptu Yeng man cooking.
I print receipes from my favorite youtubers and follow the paper. I don't like screens shutting down on me either.
I am a new subscriber. Your husand is so nice to cook dinner when you are not feeling good. Take care!
I watch you, Shelbizzzle, Unnatural Vegan, Shaaba, Phillip DeFranco, Life of Tom, and a few reddit reading channels lol
Your videos are so fun and calming. Sometimes it makes me want to make videos, but I don't have the time. Thank you for sharing your life with us!
Edit to add: congrats on writing your book!!
I would say it's worth doing some research on hyaluronic acid. Dr. Idriss has a really detailed video explanation about it. I suggest checking it out. Essentially it is pulling moisture out of the deeper layers of skin and making the top layer feel more plump and hydrated but stripping the natural hydration from deeper layers. I was completely feeling this on my skin because I have really sensitive skin and hearing her explanation, it completely makes sense.
You’re the cutest! I love how real you are. Dentists suck and I know that feeling so well. ❤️🩹
I loved your vibe in this video! so comfortable so yourself ❤
Not boring at all! Congratulations on your book! I enjoyed your entire video and the chaos is real and totally fine. Thank you for the encouragement about white hair. I'm 48 and I have just a few white hairs coming in and oh, I've really struggled with it. I do not fuss with my looks but my hair has always been my best feature and to see it change has been a challenge.
Your videos don't have to be perfectly structured because life often isn't. From other YT channels the recent favourite of mine is Caroline Winkler. And I also like watching How To Cook That.
Thank you for being so Immy!
I just love the chill vibes of you and your videos! Your healthy relationship with food is so inspiring - thank you!
WAIIITT the chopped bagel sandwich looks phenomenal???? sooo many inspiring recipes in this video
My husband is from India and sometimes if we don’t have tofu will use chickpeas or any other type of beans instead is an awesome base For any type of protein
I’d recommend going to the City Park farmers market on Saturday for your bagels!
Oooooh thank you so much for the rec
I found a soda stream at the thrift store last year and used it all summer
Loving your recent chatty videos Immy!!
Just discovered your channel and I'm loving it all! "Natural white highlights for free!" Absolutely fantastic outlook. I really appreciate all the intention that you put in your videos. Thanks for making them for us to enjoy x
Loved the video. It’s so relaxing to watch other people go thru their day at a slow relaxed pace. I have a 1 year old so I am always triple tasking and I ingredient + meal prep whatever I can while baby is at grandmas for a couple hours so it feels chaotic and stressful. I’m finally ready to transition to a plant based diet and watching this type of video is so helpful to get ideas on what to make and what to eat.
Also I think it’s funny that you said this is chaotic and to me it seems so nice and peaceful lolol.
This was so fun to watch while I was (coincidentally) making my own lemon orzo for dinner. Love your content!
We have a soda stream, we use it everyday. We bought stainless steel bottles for it and keep them full in the fridge ready for fizzing! We also love to add a splash of pomegranate juice for a gentle flavour. Definitely worth the investment. 😊
Quiero Arepas has a food truck that's often at Rayback Collective up in Boulder and it's one of my faves!
Chaotic and bizarre is perfectly alright, and I find it so soothing coming from you, it adds to the real and cozy vibe. Thank you…
I think if anything, I love these videos more, it’s an authentic insight to how a week can really go…. Hearing you talk about how many walks you go on and it helps with your mental health, I’m thinking that I want to give this a go ❤ ….. also another vegan cook has to be gaz Oakley right? Aka avente garde vegan. Your both growing and cooking your own food and the recipes 👌
Hope you are feeling better soon. Thank you for a lovely video. Xx
Thank you so much for choosing UA-cam as your favourite platform . I look forward to your videos and find you very inspiring😊
I actually do have the soda stream that has the glass carafes and I really like it. It doesn't always infuse with as many bubbles as a lacroix but its better than creating so much waste lol
I honestly liked the little chaos in this video, makes it more relatable :D
The dishes looked delicious! I should really try to make tofu palak paneer at home. Our unicafé makes a pretty good one and if unicafé can make it taste good for hundreds of people, it can't be that hard to make!
Hope you're feeling better now!
Love this. Here for the chaos. Watching post laparoscopic surgery and feeling sorry for myself so could relate to your dental woes. It can be so hard when your body doesn't cooperate and you don't have the energy you need to do what you want to do! Thanks for cheering me up.
I hope you feel better today! Take your time to heal and rest.❤
Love your videos. About the soda stream it’s ok. It saves plastic. I like my seltzer water fizzier and I wish I could make my own flavored waters.
Hi from Australia, I love Pick up Limes , she is amazing 😻
I cut out soda probably 15 years ago but my family did have a sodastream. The syrup containers were definitely wasteful, but maybe they'd work with just water and some fruit? I can't even remember the process. My periodic carbonation fix is now met by kombucha, I wish I could make my own.
You and RainbowPlantLife are my fave vegan youtubers! I also really like Gaz Oakley/AvantGardeVegan, Mary's Test Kitchen, and Pick Up Limes.
I shamelessly eat bagel sandwiches regularly, either with chickpea salad (on rotation during warm weather), veggie burger patties, or the rare Beyond burger treat. We have a local discount bread store that sells near/at-expiration date Dave's Killer Bread/Bagels/Rolls for like $3 (vs $6-8 at a regular store), they keep perfectly in the freezer. Until I can make my own, this works.
Looking forward to the sourdough guide :)
Have you tried raspberry leaf tea for menstrual cramps? I find when I drink it the week before and during, my cramps are severely lessened, especially when also exercising, eating healthy, and avoiding caffeine and sugar.
I got my first grey at 16 so I felt like a total freak, but I am at the point in my life (I think we're the same age) where I don't care about others' expectations, I find beauty in aging naturally/gracefully. I actually adore seeing other people's bare faces and minimally altered hair. I do my part to normalize natural. You and your husband are so cute together!
I binged Bridgerton in a single night, I really considered waiting until the next release so I didn't have to wait, but it was So soooo good! I love watching Birta Hlin, Sarah Gray and truly love Josh and Sarah ride!
Get well soon Immy ❤ I loved the first 4 films ( I don‘t know the correct term in english) of season 3 of bridgerton! I think it‘s the best season so far! Nice to see that you eat also faux meat once in a while. I eat to much of it, often because it‘s quick and I‘m not in the mood to cook. I have a soda-stream, the tab water in germany is quiet good to drink, so it‘s a nice alternative to carrying bottles around. I have Madeleines book as well, but haven‘t tried the butter_chicken yet. That will be on next weeks mealplan. Thank you for sharing. Greetings, Julia
Looks so beautiful, I love this style of videography ❤
Thank you very much!
Haven't seen any B programs but have read all of the books. They are so much fun so enjoy the new series 😊
loving your recent videos Immy!
Thank you so much 🥰
tbh I appreciate the videos that are a little chaotic. Idk about y'all but my life is definitely (more than) a bit chaotic sometimes, especially now that I decided to go back to college and I have a job and a house to keep up with. I totally understand not having a tidy kitchen 100% of the time or having snacky days where you can't be bothered to make a "proper" meal until later in the day.
btw, I loved what you said about gray hair. I've also started to see some gray hairs here and there and though the first time I noticed I had a tiny panic, that same day I went "wait a minute, this is free decolor treatment, why am I complaining?"
Oh the dentist is the pits. I'm not a good dental patient at all. Wishing you all the best with that. That paneer looks so good. I think your diet has changed quite a bit since moving from the UK. What do you think?
I love love love these videos of yours! All the food looks so delicious and its lovely to watch you be yourself as usual! Also, when you cannot chew or you're feeling a bit lazy, what I do is grate an apple. Its such a simple snack, its juicy and softer than eating the whole fruit.|
Can you share you fav curry recipes? We’ve eaten our favs 1000 now and craving something new !
So cool to see you promote a New Zealand brand! Awwa is awesome, definitely the best period undies I have tried!
I honestly wish you a better week, but the structure is not necessary :D
I enjoyed the "go with the flow" type of video you made and it's as nice as the other ones, just different, more like a vlog, it was interesting :-)
Take care 😙
I weirdly have never seen any of your video but i stumbled upon this one today and I really enjoyed it. Even better is that i just had dental work done yesterday and had to eat soft foods. Feeling sorry for myself too because I want spicy foods, oranges, and crunchy stuff. I tried a bagel and my mouth hurt.
When I'm not here, watching your Videos I'm watching the Pick Up Limes Channel. It's a vegan cooking Channel I absolutely love. You two are my vegan Inspirations. Over the years my repertoire of vegan recipes grew so much I have no problem to cook plantbased only. Thanks for all your inspiration! You changed so much in so many of my Life areas! And sourdough bread is on top of my to try list! So I can't wait for your guide! 💚💚
And Grey hair are magic hair! This is what my best friend always says. I have three grey hairs and I'm incredibly proud of them😂
When i visit the UK, i bring home multiple packages of crumpets. I have one package left from my december trip. I love the whole meal version from m&s
I watch everything broccoli mum puts out! In addition to some of the names you mentioned, I also love pbwithj, fitgreenmind, healthy.vegan.mama, plantyou, highcarbhannah, jackfruitfulkitchen, fiftysister & Be Well with E Bell - such great practical delicious content to be found out there!
Totally obsessed with bridgerton! Wasn't at all for the first two seasons but now for season three I've been longing like crazy for months!
I loved this video Immy - chaotic is normal in my book so I can so relate! The ups and downs - well, although its easy to forget, they are normal - so thank you for being real!
Loved this long form video. And all the food. A long awful dental saga is soooooo relatable and I'm sorry you have that experience but it felt like real life because it was nice to see that aspect of humaness online! Thanks for sharing with us:))))
Have you gotten in to knitting and crochet UA-cam channels yet? Some of them are less active this time of year, but you can always watch their older episodes. I like mandarines, A Homespun House, A Lovely Yarn, Retro Claude, A Wooden Nest, Tales From Cuckoo Land, The Republic of Me and TL Yarn Crafts.
Hi Immy, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your thoughts on ageing and greying. I'm about the same age as you and sometimes struggle with accepting how my body/appearance is changing as I get older. It's really important to me to age naturally; I wholeheartedly support anyone's decision to dye their hair, get Botox, etc. but it's not something I want to want for myself, if that makes sense. Still, that does not always make that decision easy! I always find it so affirming and encouraging to see other women with a similar mindset as me. It helps me not feel so alone on this journey. I hope you have a lovely day, and thank you for all your hard work in making such wonderful content :)
Immy I loved this video, you make me smile and literally lol, it’s sooooo realistic and I love that, I’m looking forward to your book and the sourdough book I need it to be really fool proof!! 😂 your videos are amazing and I look forward to them, thank you 🙏🏻 sending love from 🇬🇧 x
Omg YES on the sparkling water, I love the taste of plain soda water and used to buy them way too often also. The soda stream is great, and you can refill the CO2 containers at safeway (a grocery store here in the US that I'm sure you've seen). You can chuck whatever you want into the water to flavor it, or bubly sells flavor drops in tiny glass bottles also. 10/10 recommend getting a soda stream
Wishing you a speedy recovery, Immy! Loved the video and its “chaos”, felt very real and would definitely like to watch others like this. :) Also, yes to the grey hair appreciation moment!
For future videos: would you consider bringing us along on a hike there in Colorado? How you prep for it, what you take with you, etc? :)
Thanks for the videos! I had some dental work done this week that made me very anxious and nervous, so I can relate. I usually am pretty brave, but it made me feel like a child again, ha! Hope you are feeling better now.
Enjoyed the video. Take care, Immy! PS - hair supplements can help with gray hair.
hi!!! just dropping in to say that we are also curry fans in my vegan household as well!! 🔥 sooo good, endless possibilities, always filling and nutritious.
That loaf looks amazing, could you please do a video how to make
it,... I've never used sour dough before..xxx from England 🏴
Love the video, it's a real treat to sit with a cup of tea and get some ideas. Very natural presentation, never change. Thank you 🎉
I just finished that book!
We love our Sodastream! We actually have an Omnifizz now. The Omnifizz can carbonate any drink instead of just water.
NOT THAT CHAOTIC! I loved learning more about your routines and what life is like for a particular week ~
Thanks for sharing as always :)
Also… I watched the entire first half of the newest season of Bridgerton already. Pen was always one of my favorite characters!
pick up limes is my favorite vegan channel on yt!
So happy to see that you've written a book! I already went and pre-ordered it. Hope you're feeling better!
Please post your crumpet recipe!! Thank you!
I've had a sodastream for 6ish years and only recently started trying the Bubly flavors (trying to cut back on diet soda). I really like the raspberry one - it's the only sparkling water I enjoy other than Topo Chico.
Also, congrats on the book!! Really looking forward to hearing more about it soon!!! 💜
I like watching entertaining with Beth.
Hermoso video. Muy relajante. Riquísimo todo lo que cocinas 🙌🏻 Me encanta tu canal, el de Sarah's vegan kitchen, Pick-up limes, Rainbow Plant Life. Me encantaría ver más recetas de origen indio. Gracias.❤
Hope your teeth feel better. Just preordered your book. Very excited!!! Congratulations!
Love this video - so fun to see. Rosenberg’s Bagels are great! Locations in Five Points and The Stanley. Moe’s is good too. Most of their locations are in Boulder, but they have one in Denver too.
I purchased Madeleine's cookbook a little while ago but haven't really done anything with it yet. This is a good reminder to do so
I would love to see more what I eat in a week videos from you! This was fun to watch and I now must try that bagel situation 🤩
We have a sodastream and getting the refills has been a pain recently
Will the sourdough guide be focused on high altitude sourdough only? Also, congratulations on the book! So exciting!
Hahaha "I'm getting natural highlights for free!" Love that take on grey hair 😂 And I fully agree, grey hair looks really cool when you just wear it with confidence 🔥
