@LimitlessBloom Thank you for replying. I swim about 5 days a week, and I wash my hair every time I go. I am currently using a mix of Boots Sun Swim & Gym and Creme of Nature Moisture & shine Shampoo to wash the chlorine out. I then use imbue curl restoring intensive mask as a leave in conditioner and dry my hair naturally. I have been swimming regularly for 6 months now and so far my hair is soft, no hair loss/breakage but it seems my hair is not growing as it did.
Oh ok . I see. I’ve been using boucleme intensive moisture treatment as it also doubles up as a leave in.i just slap it on and let it sit for at least an hour or overnight depending how tired i am then instead of rinsing I just go ahead and style. Cuts washing and styling time in half and I love it. I’m not sure if the imbue mask is supposed to be used as a leave in? I just checked and it’s not supposed to be used as a leave in. Been using boucleme for about 3years now and been meaning to make a video to share. It’s really good. Use it for my kids too. Do you do protein treatments? And have you tried blow drying instead of drying naturally? I’m just wondering if your hair is staying wet for too long? Cos my hair takes about 2 days to dry fully so maybe that might not be helping. Also does your hair get wet everytime you swim? Also here’s the link for the product www.boucleme.co.uk/products/intensive-moisture-treatment?variant=38032784556232 this is not an affiliate link. I buy it with my own money and usually get the 1 litre as I use it for the whole fam. Has amazing slip and I add my Ayurveda oils to it before using. I’m literally obsessed with multi use products and always on the look out for more. The lazy in me will not rest till I cut washday down even more whilst also giving my hair everything it needs without doing the most 😅
I've ordered the boucleme intensive Moisture treatment! I Thank you. My hair gets completely wet every time I swim. I swim approx 2km freestyle backstroke & breaststroke for about 1 hour every time. I self taught myself to swim just before the pandemic and live to swim. Maybe I will publish my journey to help other adults like me who couldn't swim. If I just tie my hair in one it will stay wet in the middle until I swim/wash again. So I will leave loose to completely dry it. I've never used protein treatment but since watching you I've ordered the Doogro. I will add to my conditioner everytime or once a week?
Oh wow that’s amazing! Well done. I can’t swim to save my life 😭. In regards to protein treatments you only need to do them every 6-8 weeks. Anything sooner or later is bad for your hair. Definitely keep me posted on how you get on💕. And please do share your journey! It’d be awesome 🤩 👌
Awesome video, Thanks for sharing but I am very scared of trying the Aphogee protein treatment for the second time. Shea moisture I'll definitely give it a try. 🤗🥰🥰
Thank you for watching hun. The ApHogee 2mins reconstructor is definitely milder than the ApHogee 2 step treatment you used and hasn’t damaged anyone’s hair from myself to others I’ve seen use it. I’m still scared to try the two step protein treatment though 😅
@@LimitlessBloom You're welcome sis, ok I'll look into the 2 min reconstructor then. I guess it was probably too strong for my hair. Don't be scared it might work for you, for me I understand that my hair is very sensitive to strong protein after using Aphogee.🤩
Fantastic video . I stumbled on imbue I have fallen in love with it. I swim every day in chlorine water. I have 4a & b hair. What do you recommend as a daily regime to keep my hair strong, long & moisturised.
Honestly I have no idea about swimming and natural hair other than the fact that you need to use special shampoo’s made for swimmers to remove the chlorine and also to keep on top of your moisture routine and that’s including deep conditioning too. What’s your current routine like and how’s your hair responding to it?
Oh man🥴. Do you use Ayurveda herbs in your hair care? I find that it disrupts my Postpartum shedding and reduces the shedding. I also use them topically in pregnancy so I don’t know if that helps too but my hair usually sheds the first time I wash my hair which is usually 6 weeks after labour and then that’s it. The shedding stops after that.
Hi just discovered your channel and I love it... I have been so lazy when it comes to my hair and really want to take it serious now... thank for all the information About the tresemme conditioner...can i also use the 7x rich in moisture ?
Hey welcome to the channel 💕. I love that for you! and yes you can use that if that’s what you have and if your hair likes it ☺️. Just to clarify, are you mixing this with a protein? If that’s the case, just make sure it doesn’t contain any protein in the ingredients list. We have the rich in moisture here but I’ve never heard of or used the 7x rich in moisture but it sounds like it’s just got more added moisture compared to the one I use
I'm m just lost. My 4b hair is thinning (its already fine) and breaking off. I've tried several moisture masks like jamaican castor oil mask and recently added botanna oil which i love. I feel like i jave to switch up my routine bc it either stops working or it starts to flake. I'm trying to find a strengthening product for length retention. I also take biotin and hair vitamins. I just started taking Spoiled Child oral liquid collagen, but it makes me nauseous.
I’d suggest finding a natural hair salon that resonates with you so you can get your hair looked at by a professional. I was in the same boat and felt like it was the products i was using. But I found a great salon near me through IG and this past year has been magic! After getting fully evaluated, I found out that i needed scalp treatments and that oil on my scalp or to seal my hair was not needed and was actually leading to damage! After my oxygenated scalp treatments my hair started growing in thicker and stronger. I was able to stop those after a couple of visits and get on my unique regimen that was recommended to me based on my hair type after the evaluation and it’s been sooo life changing! I thought my hair was thin but turns out it’s actually thick, it just wasn’t healthy and was breaking off, so i had no clue. I stopped the oiling like i mentioned, and started using serums instead which are more water based and it helped in growing and thickening my hair to its balanced state. So first I’d say find a natural salon and get a full evaluation, follow their suggestions and see! My routine is so much easier now and my hair holds moisture until next wash day which is every 10 days for me. Meaning I don’t have to re moisturize my hair in between. I even get my hair in protective styles like braids and mini twists for 6 weeks at a time. I don’t wash or condition during those times and when i take my hair out, it still feels so nourished, moisturized, and soft! I don’t even have to detangle as much as i use to and there is barely any product build up. I use the serum on my scalp during the week, but since it’s more water based, it’s moisturizing with less build up since the oils are there, but mixed with more liquids instead of thick oils that will make more product build up. Sorry for the essay 😅 but hope this helps. And don’t give up! You just have to find what works best for you and sometimes that means going to a salon to really learn about your hair before feeling comfortable to do it completely on your own. Not sure about you but my mom didn’t teach me any of this since i got a perm in 6th grade lol. So we have to really learn our hair for the first time as adults. Crazy but our kids will thank us! 🥰❤️

Do you have a tutorial on this hair style? It's so cute! I want my hair just like this.
Thank you but no I don’t sorry. It’s just a low pigtail or spacebuns done on stretched loose twists 😊
