Thanks for making this video! I’ve been researching “switched 12v” for awhile now. I’ve seen several options but found out every built Model 3 is different in some way, specially electrical. Just gonna follow your lead (until I get in there and that’s different too LOL). Getting ready to do an Accuair system in my 2021 T3P.
😉 you know the drill BRIAN ,…if at first…🤔 Not a problem sharing your mistakes and how to fix them. …We have all been there, done that 👍 I’m wondering if you put enough Teflon on your fitting 🤔 We are going to be in suspense 🤔 till tomorrow 😉🤗😍😍😍
Check out Universal Air for their billet tank and they have new tanks coming to market soon as well that I saw at SEMA. The billet tank has rails around it so you can mount the controller and compressors to it and super clean and easy install. Will be ordering my air bag stuff soon. The guy at the Air Lift booth didn’t really know anything about the air bags specifically for the M3/Y. Are those what you actually have or are they a different companies?
Have you had any computer issues or any issues since you installed the air ride ? Wanna bag mine but Tesla said it might mess things up like all the computer’s. Please lmk thanks 🙏
I’m impressed on how you do this yourself. But you are saying goodbye to a lot of the guarantees from Tesla though. And are this tüv approved as we call it in Europe. That means that the state branch that approves cars , will they say yes this is ok or are there anything you need too do getting this approved for insurance and for keeping the license plate on. Don’t know how the rules are in the US. Just know that here in Norway you need too present the car for the “authority “ with papers that shows that this is tüv(German thing) approved.
The blue wire is what I ran it to but I may change it as the power stays on for 5 minute. I have a 12v battery code that keeps coming up now. But I do have many things hooked to it. Might not be the air ride causing it.
With the Model Y selling like hot cakes, you should do 100% Tesla videos. There are more TAM for you YT channel everyday and faster number of new owners of the Model Y.
Ballsy mod - thanks for sharing ! Just as cool as the off-road build really (y)

Thanks Brian for this really fantastic video!!
Job well done
get two compressors if one fails on the road you have abackup
Or two steering wheels. Two batteries. Two pumps. Extra set of windshield wiper motors
Sandy Munro pointed to an area already being ready for the airtank under the frunk somewhere? Wouldn't this fit that area?
Part 2? I gotta fish through your channel page huh
1 of a kind! great job
Once you close the door usually it will lock the doors and mirror . After installation does it drain the battery continuously for the tank ?

Have you tried to find someone who can help you convert the strut bar into an air tank?
How many hours of work to install the AirLift ?? For a beginner home mechanic ? For a shop mechanic ? Thank you, Alex
What’s the 90 degree fitting size ?
What size air tank are you running? I'm tryna see what size will fit best inside the frunk
Hey Brian, are you still happy with air suspension system?
Are you getting constant power to your controller? I wired my 12v the same location and controller doesn't power down unless I pull battery fuse.
Mine will stay on for 5 minutes until the car sleeps. I wired in a kill switch so that when the car wakes up it wont kick on the air ride
Have you had any computer issues or any issues since you installed the air ride ? Wanna bag mine but Tesla said it might mess things up like all the computer’s. Please lmk thanks 🙏
Did you get air suspension? My 22 M3 LR started giving me a Low Voltage Battery alert and some others.
@@CristianCuhh I never got air ride
Did you unplug the main power under the back seat to connect cable to 12 volt battery?
That is only for Model 3. Model Y 12V disconnect is in the Frunk

Same in France but I will install the 3P next week
May I confirm with u that the blue line appeared at 18:05 is switched 12V?

@@i1Tesla the newest update fixed it. My lightweight 12v was kicking error also
Which you recommend 3p or 3h ?
If your not worried about the install I would go with the H
How is the drive with this air suspension? I have ohilins performance suspension. Thinking to upgrade .
Making EVs complicated. Noice.
