- I installed the "Pops and Bangs" stage 2 (loudest setting) on my FL5 Type R to demonstrate how it sounds, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO!
Burbles are activate in R+ Mode or Individual mode with engine on R+
It turns off in Sport and Comfort mode which makes it more tolerable.
It is super loud and quite annoying to drive with. I don't recommend this at all - Авто та транспорт

Came across this video and instantly dug out my flashpro and updated everything and turned on the type s mode. Its 2 am but suns supposed to be shining tomorrow!!
i got it done when they unlocked my ecu. then took it to my tuner after i installed the downpipe, had them turn it down SIGNIFICANTLY and only have it on in sport mode, which i never use really. Just have it to have it

It might be the triple exhaust config that makes it a unique pop. This new civic type r being more of a refined look I would go with previous gen if added pops. It looks kind of mix matched with the new type r look.

Wow that’s embarrassing! Good if you want people to think there is a shooting going on wow. How does the Type S one sound with the AWE exhaust? Still horrible? If so that sucks for Type S owners that want an exhaust and don’t want a tune to fix the pops/bangs.

Sure you can, hondata allows multiple map configuration through the steering controls. Just load a map with it and without. Moreover there are settings with lighter pops, that was extreme.
i think type s would be the way to go.

This sounds ridiculous lol. If anything I would only use the type s option as I’d imagine that simply just copies the type s oem configuration which shouldn’t be harmful to the vehicle.
Something feels so off seeing a Type R, and having BMW/VW type pops and bangs, it just doesn't belong lol

@@srt998 I’ve had multiple Hondas and unless your running a rich tune you don’t get many pops like a BMW I had a m3 and stock the car would pop more than anything but at the end I loved my Hondas as much as my BMWs that I’ve owned
