- Here we are, big day to compare MODS and tuning on the new FL5!
Found a local 100% Stock Type R and went to dyno to see what bolt ons and tuning do!
We compared 4 tunes:
Diego's FL5:

That's a huge difference between the two different tunes. It'd be interesting to watch data logs between the two and see where the differences are.
Just seeing the Fl5 TYPE-R it makes me really happy. The body style is so different one of the best body styles I’ve seen other than the R35 GTR. Other than that modifying the FL5 should be fun. Imma make me an Automatic V6 TYPE-R, with every TYPE-R features. I gotta have someone do it for me.

What's the elevation at the dyno?
356 whp.. that's around 395-400 crank. Super impressive for Colorado.

They help force air in, but if there's no air to force in...
Dynos at elevation like Colorado are typically calibrated to show numbers as if they were at sea level. Which is the SAE corrected term.
Did the dealership charge a pre-delivery fee like they do here in Oz? Because if they did, and still left those spring spacers on…

How difficult was the hondata to figure out? Ive been thinking about doing my Accord.
For the Accords, I recommend KTuner. They are both fairly simple as long as you have common computer knowledge
hey joel may I ask why you went with the rv6 mods? few vids ive seen with a rv6 downpipe they tend to crack or even blow up. maybe they fixed the problem?
I never had any issues with mine! I heard earlier in the first years they had a few heat shield bracket welds fail but they warrantied them.

My fk8 is at the same 376 whp375tq with just a front pipe oem complete exhuast everything else stock 😂 fl5 aint showing any diference what the heck its the same engine 😂 with a tiny turbo upgrade

Hey have question have a 2019 acura rdx haves bolt ons . Ktuner , charge pipe ,hvi , inlet pipe, type r turbo, high volume down pipe , front pipe n cat back system intercooler and tune by drobimw dyno the car n it only made 280 - 290 max hp is it correct or did i have to see higher numbers ?

@accoRding2Joel no replace stock rdx turbo to type r turbo ? I had prl big turbo back then but drobimw told me he couldn't tune my car with it

@accoRding2Joel bcuz my tuner told me the big turbo did have enough fuel to feed it since I have stock fuel system n at that time I did not have a hvi so he told me I needed that to run it

What did you have on the car other then the 2 step Flash to make the power you did? And bolt ons were done to make 356hp?
It makes that fully stock, no bolt ons. Just TSP tuned

Holy Shit, i just checked my FL5 and they fucking left those plastic blocks and zipties on too. I have 2500 miles on my car. Should I be concerned. Could this have caused damage?
No, just take them off
Bro… the dealer was supposed to take those transport blocks out of the suspension, that could do damage I’d be super annoyed if I was him

I only had the 1. Can do all 3 and it would be solid. But just the lower one makes a big difference with wheel hop.
