Pat Sajak is NOT a sweet person. Or, at least, he was not 20 years ago when I had the pleasure of interacting with him. I have personally been berated by him, in public, for asking him to pay for his coffee at a Cinnabon I used to run, and I witnessed him blow up at an employee at a bookstore once because the store didn't have the book he wanted. Based on stories I've heard (he used to frequent my area as his parents lived nearby) these were not isolated incidents.

The most I've ever made in my life I had to be on call and do really complicated computer stuff, and it wasn't anywhere close to that.

What about Pat's daughter that did even less than he did? Guy got his daughter a job where she appears for like 20 seconds at the end of the show like she's important.
Gaffigan's latest tour "Barely Alive" is really bad...it was like a band you like is forced by the label to make a new album. It just wasn't fresh or funny. I have been a fan for years and I was so disappointed when I saw him couple weeks ago. I say this so maybe you can lower your expectations, unlike me who was over-hyped and very let down. Not the most joyful comment I've ever posted, but hey.....just trying to be helpful.

Interestingly Pat Sajak has also done some acting. I saw him in a production of " The Odd Couple " at UCONN some years ago. He was Felix Unger. He wasn't bad.

Jim is right about having kids. They don't leave. I had to get a restraining order against my son to get him out of my house. He was 45 years old. I chose the restraining order over an eviction because it was quicker and free. My son finally moved out but not before he threatened me with a gun.
Word to all of you who want kids. Don't do it.
I enjoyed Gaffigans show..but his comedy hasn't been consistently enjoyable for many many many years
