The devastation is so heartbreaking. I can't imagine how difficult it is for everyone there. That is so kind of you guys to bring them all the solar lights. It truly must feel like a glimmer of hope for all of them. I'm sure glad all the villagers knew who to give the last light to. I know I wouldn't want to make that decision either. Hoping the best for everyone there and that they are able to clean up and rebuild and get power again soon.
Seeing the progress already is really encouraging. Amazing community spirit as everyone clubs together to help each other out. We’ll go back on the boat soon to see how everyone is getting on too.
@@RedSeas I can't wait to see an update on the cleanup and see how the community is doing. I'm sure you guys bringing the lights to them helped their spirits as well. Thank you for your kindness and great content.
Thanks Asha! It was a real privilege to do our small part in the aftermath of the volcano. Those effected have done so much to clean up and recover. Hopefully we get back to TNT again soon.
It was such a tough time for everyone in SVG following the volcano. Having the chance to share their story a little was super rewarding and hopefully encouraged people to help where they could too
Mother Nature has its beauties and disasters. The soil will be very fertile once the clean up has been done. So,e thing good will come from the volcanic eruption at the end.
Yes we only had funding for 120 lights at that time. The goal is for 500 lights to support those living up in the evacuation area. Fundraising is still ongoing if you’d like to follow the link in the description to get more lights into the community.
Amazing story. ❤
We were so pleased to have to opportunity to get involved. Hopefully we can do more in the future too

We actually managed to get back further in our journey to see how things had progressed and you are right. It is a blessing in disguise
Nice idea, but 120 lights for a population >100k ???
