Whew. Okay, THAT was spicy. I started this workout with some DOMS from the previous lower body workout (day 2?) and yikes. Broke a sweat and maybe said some not nice words but got through it! I’ve done 3/4 other challenges/series with my bar and this series so far is by far my favorite. Thank you!!

I am love, love, loving these! They are very challenging without having complicated choreogrpahy, and your pacing and energy is perfect for making them enjoyable. I’m coming out of a foot surgery recovery and this one was especially helpful for the balance, ankle, and toe strengthening. Looking forward to tomorrow’s workout. Thank you!

I love this workout. I have never been so sore in the glutes and thighs, so I know it’s really challenging me. I do this workout once a week to keep my strength up and keep soreness away 😀
I just bought my pilates bar a couple of weeks ago. I wasn’t sure where to start and then found your 28-days challenge. I am so overweight & unconditioned since an injury in 2022. But I just finished Day 4 of challenge and it was not easy, but I did it!! Balance needs a lot of work, but will get better as I continue 😊 Thank you for this challenge!!

I found this workout really challenging as lunges aggravate an SI joint issue/tight piriformis. I tried to modify but it would’ve been helpful to have some suggestions on alternatives….i probably should have skipped it and moved on to the next one. Love your channel, your pace and your enthusiasm. Great to have a Pilates instructor my age too!

I love your enthusiasm and you sound very determined, both of which are fabulous but if you know your body and are good at tuning in to what it’s saying please don’t be hard on yourself if an exercise or whole session just isn’t right for you , skip it and allow yourself to move on, guilt free x I love that you are doing the challenge, enjoy the process and please keep me updated . I am recovering from my injury and my doctor said I could resume my workouts, but nothing crazy. My friend recommended me a Pilates bar. I came across your channel on the internet and started the challenge. It has been a great experience so far! And the challenge also keeps me motivated and disciplined! Thank you so much, Donna! Day 4 is a challenge for sure 😅. Great work … pace the 28 Day Challenge and fit it around your life & energy levels . It doesn’t matter if it takes you 2 months to complete, you will still reap the benefits and have succeeded ❤️🙌
After the first leg day I thought, I need to go up a level on my bands, that wasn't as challenging. And so I started today like that. Had to pause and go back down. This one was indeed cheeky! Great workout though, I feel awesome now that it is done
That really challenged my balance. It felt great doing something different. I can really feel it in my forearms😮. What a great way to start every cold dark January day. Love it ❤❤
This was so hard. I was flying through 1-3 and I thought ok I got this and then came 4. At first I could only do 11 minutes. Isolating each leg was extremely hard but I came back the next day and did 17 min and today I finish the entire workout. I think I will stay on this #4 one more time since It was so difficult and then move on to the rest. I definitely appreciate you. I never really got into working out at home not too much. I bought a rowing machine don't use it too often but something about the Pilates Bar that I absolute love. My body feels so strong after my workout that I can't wait until the next day to do it again. I'm hoping by March 4 which is my Birthday I will have at least lost 15 lbs and gain more muscles. I don't need to loose a lot of weight just want to tighten everything up. You are a great encouragement. Hopefully after I finish the 28 day challenge, I can continue on with the rest of your videos. I have never felt so strong in a short period of time within my entire body. Even my gym membership didn't work all the muscles like your workout does. Sorry for writing this long novel but I just want you to know that I really appreciate your videos and I love your personality. Keep encouraging us to stay fit and healthy. I am definitely listening.

Just finished this one and I'm sweating haha!! Just a feedback that i find helpful for workouts i do ....can you advise how many reps we are actually doing ahead of time so we know to focus on completing the necessary exercise? it may just be me but if I know how many I need to do I can focus properly on my form and then count down 😊 and same as going into the holds and extra reps at the end of that because I then would have began standing up and it throws the next few reps before I catch up....this probably doesn't make sense but I'm thoroughly enjoying this challenge so thank you 😊

is it meant to be so difficult to keep the bar from not swinging towad the back leg or those lunges? I feel so much work trying to keep the bar in fron to fme that I can't really focus on my legs.

So struggling to do these 😢 I can't bend that far down on one leg . One leg wobbles posture shoulders sigh the brain struggles to . Think these are far more advanced to where my body is at grrr . Lol
This one was a challenge so many people . One day at a time, some days are more challenging than others, be proud of your efforts. It’s ok to have favourites and it’s ok to miss exercises that just don’t work for your body, or your energy or where you are at on your fitness journey x Be proud of your efforts xx

I tried my best but this one was very hard on my knees and they are not the best or strongest joints. I can’t lunge that far. Thank you for these videos though. I get a really good workout

bit of a jump in level for me after just starting with your days 1-3. i might repeat those 3 until i feel more comfortable doing this one.

Just finished this one and I'm sweating haha!! Just a feedback that i find helpful for workouts i do ....can you advise how many reps we are actually doing ahead of time so we know to focus on completing the necessary exercise? it may just be me but if I know how many I need to do I can focus properly on my form and then count down 😊 and same as going into the holds and extra reps at the end of that because I then would have began standing up and it throws the next few reps before I catch up....this probably doesn't make sense but I'm thoroughly enjoying this challenge so thank you 😊

is it meant to be so difficult to keep the bar from not swinging towad the back leg or those lunges? I feel so much work trying to keep the bar in fron to fme that I can't really focus on my legs.

I can't bend that far down on one leg . One leg wobbles posture shoulders sigh the brain struggles to .
Think these are far more advanced to where my body is at grrr . Lol
This one was a challenge so many people . One day at a time, some days are more challenging than others, be proud of your efforts. It’s ok to have favourites and it’s ok to miss exercises that just don’t work for your body, or your energy or where you are at on your fitness journey x

What can be substituted for lunges?
You could swap out lunges for squats … lots of them 😂🥰 xx
