Everclear is actually not much more expensive than high quality cleaning alcohol and is better in many applications as it is food grade so it is actually usefull for many things.

Lagavulin: Chemistry because you can't get over the composition of ingredients that make up the taste. And you like it, since it reminds you of the lab.
