that's why I still haven't activated B6 Bennett ...that red alert tho is super annoying but i'm more stubborn than alert is annoying xdd But seriouslyyy they should let us toggle infusion on and off. why is that such a dealbreaker for them that they don't implement it is beyond me.
@@matrixfullit's not big deal to c6 Bennett. There's only few situations that can't use Bennett. So most of the time, it's doesn't effect gameplay at all. It's better to C6 if you want to boost your team damage.

For me it is. I rather have my Bennett being fully versatile than being fully powerful. I don't mind losing some dmg at least I can have fun with more team combinations. @@naygyi2744

I only got one copy of her before I got Lyney at 73 pulls. I got double 4* (& one triple 4*) in every 10 pull but only 1 Lynette, which is BS! I got so many Bennett & Barbara, I lost count & they were both C6 to begin with....
Went full soft-pity for Lyney. I’m still at C0 Lynette, from her event page. Got a bunch of overflow Barbara and Bennett, though.

this way c6 players who wants to demonstrate a c0 can do it rather than be c6 permanently and yea bennett c6 is great in all but it removes his flexibility in other team comps with very little enhancement, it doesnt feel like C6 unless its togglable
For Lynette teams, Yun Jin is a decent substitute for Bennett if you have the latter at C6. In particular, the dual Anemo/Geo team consisting of Lynette, Faruzan, Yun Jin, and Zhongli performs roughly on par with Lynette, Faruzan, Yelan, and Kokomi (assuming Yelan isn't whaled), and better if Yun Jin is at higher constellations.

The inability to "toggle" constellations is what's been keeping me from C6'ing my Bennet even tho he's technically C8 😅😂

Personally, I enjoy having reasons not to use benny in every team composition in existence. However, having the ability to toggle active constellations would be infinitely more useful than having to deal with C6 effects.
Why do you need a reason not to use him? just don't use him. I've had a c5 Bennett for almost 3 years now and I never use him in any team comps, he's been essentially benched for 2 years. So why don't I c6 him? because on rare occasions I actually do use him in random team comps including Eula. I dont like Mika.

I thought HYV was past overriding infusions. I was sad as well. Was planning on using her as a Hypercarry/National driver for my abyss videos but stopped building her the moment I saw this.
I think if they wanted to do that, it would be a long time. The mechanic is not only pretty much forgotten about outside of some nieche characters, constellations and Keqing/Diluc/Ayaka who pretty much depend on it.
It is more complex than it seems, not only because there is no priority, it just works like regular elemental reactions, since an infusion applies element to the weapon instead of changing the moveset like a conversion like Alhaitham, for example.
It just shows they don't care about new 4* chars at all, every self infused 5* has a note that their dmg type can't be overwritten by any means (with starter roster excluded + eula). And there is no single 4* that has this immunity other than range users for obvious reasons. It's just sad how they introduce new 4* that are completly garbage or hard to justify using them at all. And even if you don't care and all you want to play your char hovewer you want, well you kinda can't with those infuse limitations. I have c6 benett and lynette and I'm gonna still play her as a hypercarry but it's a shame that I have already limited roster to choose from.

This is exactly why I haven't C6'd my Bennett, and won't until they add a toggle. I know there are objectively more benefits to it than downsides, but I hate the feeling of being limited in your options.

This for sure. There really isn't any good argument for not letting players toggle constellations. That said, I feel some amount of vindication for not c6'ing my Benny and going with my gut. Xiangling is cracked enough already anyway.

Hoyoverse actually let us toggle off QTE in HI3. For some new players, QTE does a lot of damage so you thought turning it on would be beneficial, but sometimes characters don’t need some of that additional damage from QTE but rather get in and do their stuff right away.
It was around version 1.1 where I've received an email from their support that they've been getting a lot inquiries or tickets regarding a feature to enable/disable a character's talent or constellation that forces elemental infusion. I think it was also around that time where I sent them a recording of Ningguang's burst and charged attack wherein her jades sometimes fly upwards instead of auto-aiming the boss right in front of her, the same goes with Diona's icy paws. Unfortunately, none of these got resolved or implemented.

Going even further than toggle-able constellations, they should allow you to toggle refinements on weapons, and the cherry on top: being able to temporarily lower a character's level/ascension
I wish I could C6 my Lynette in this banner, but alas, I'll have to be satisfied with only C2, since I'm saving for Furina and I'm in no position to whale right now. Even at C2 she's really fun to use though, and seeing you use her with Candace gave me some interesting ideas.
Her skill scaling are scare
She can actually be better than sucrose in some cases and if you played her right

Comparing her to sucrose ? Sucrose is a support/buffer and even when you play sucrose for dmg u play her with her being an enabler for an old style elemental reaction team with xingqiu/yelan snd other off-field elemental dpses if you want to compare her kit you can compare it to heizou a skill and burst focused dps yeah but he can still be pretty good with normal attacks
I wish you also showed off more of an onfield carry build.
I think the more realistic use for her is in taser teams, like Heizou.

@@EzMystery her infusion lasts up to 18s for the first rotation and 12s after, cons 4 gives you 2 charges and obviously you don't spam them at once and the cd starts refreshing as soon as you press your e, same as yelan
C6 Sara+Fischl and a flex here would have given him the ATK bonus he wanted from Bennett

Heizou definitely dishes out more since Faruzans release. Heizou/Bennett/Yelan/Faruzan does disgusting damage even while using a 4 star weapon like the Solar Pearl.
Yeah true, his NA / CA multiplayer are a bit weaker compare to Lynette, but Heizou has the Advantage of dishing out a massive amount of front-loaded DMG with a short Q->CA->E combo without spending long on the fieldtime.
Of course Widsith also helps a lot, which is pretty F2P and broken

If she were more of a hyper carry I would suggest Tenacity Moon Piercer Yaoyao + Thrilling Tales Lisa as the buffer instead of Bennett. Since she could move with her E anyway, she’d have no problem picking up the moon piercer leaf.
Been using her with a Fontaine craftable weapon. It gives her attack buff after using skill it’s great weapon for her
Not that I'm anywhere close to a c6 Lynette, but it's situations like this where I'm glad I went with my gut and kept my Benny at c5. It might only affect a small amount of teams/situations, but until we can toggle constellation (if ever), I'm just going to deal with the red "!". Anywho, I'm actually pretty impressed with Lynette; she's a functioning 4-star.
Or you could start giving the deserved love to other support characters. Lets be honest, what stops you from C6 your Benbett is the fact that we are all meta pressured about numbers and damage that we ended up forcing Bennett into every team and completely forget other supports, sadly.

So why don't I c6 him? because I dont care much about Bennett but I do care about Eula and want her to always have any and every option available. There are rare times I do use her with Bennett whenever I want to hit in the millions for her burst and before you say use c6 Mika instead it gives an even BIGGER hit with c6 Mika AND c5 Bennett.

I didn’t get C6 Lynette. So I gave her Aquila Favonia and Pale Flame, and decided to do hypercarry physical Lynette. Works pretty well as long as target isn’t physical immune!

i was tempted to c6 my Bennett for 2 main reasons; one: I'm a Yoimiya main + Diluc/Yanfei enjoyer and two: that one Razor team looks so so fun, also I'm an Itto main as well and couldn't care less about physical characters, but i decided to wait til Fontaine dropped and we got uh, "peaks" at characters kits Just In Case.
I'm very glad i did since I ADORE Lynette's game play and would love to/plan on C6ing her on her next run (i have a guarantee right now so I'm Not risking the character banner for 4 star cons, I've learned my lesson... many times), I have also long accepted the fact Hoyo is absolutely never going to add a constellation toggle, but this was a good wake-up call and reminder that yeah, that 15% DMG bonus ain't worth it anyways.
As a c5 Bennett haver for 3 years ill still never do it but I do wish ppl who have c6 Bennett would stop telling others to c6 him. I also think c5 Bennett havers need to stop telling c6 Bennett havers they ruined their account.

What about a nuke set-up for her c6 with Faruzan Jean C4 and Yunjin ? With NA mostly. I think it could be quite fun
When it comes to c6 Bennet or any element fusion support, I go for catalyst user as a dps.
I have a good echoes set that I use with her, with talent level 5 I get up to 20k hits with her when echoes procs. Team I use is c6 Yunjin, c6 Faruzan, c6 Gorou, R1 mistsplitter. My Gorou is not invested at level 50 and no dedicated artifact set. But with an energy goblet and both him and Yun Jin using Fav weapons, I have 100% uptime on the whole teams bursts rotations. Lynnette's burst infusion lets you easily get crystallize shields with Gorou if her burst infuses an element. And I'm guessing if I had a good husk set for Gorou, his healing would be adequate. I hope Navia turns out to be a good Geo support that also increases defence and heals.
at c6 she's so fun to play! I'm no where near c6 bennett but after watching this, he's staying at c5 if he ever gets there! I think she's easier to use and more mobile than sucrose and kazuha, her burst projectile range is quite insane, too.

Started a new account not too long before Fontaine and got her c6 and a yelan so I pretty much am slapping together a national off of that. Pretty solid
I love infusions so I don't feel like it conflicting with Bennett as a negative. It lets you play with multiple options. You don't need a perfect team to complete 36 stars so you can likely fine some substitute characters or comps with her that still work well enough to clear. It is annoying though because we cant toggle cons and this would be a good time for that. But I also view it in a positive light that it allows her mobility to shine if not trapped by Bennett.
I already run her as pyro Lynette and previously was playing pyro Keqing before hand. I haven't managed to get the new set to have good enough pieces on her yet so shes stuck with shim for now. I played cryo Keqing for a year and then pyro for half a yearish after until Lynette came out. Its crazy how free Keqing feels now without circle impact. Id love to get her to c6 some day but I still have plans for my wishes and i'm afraid to spend them rn since i'm at 74 pity. Anemo infusion looks really fun and Sucrose always felt clunky.
somewhat ironically, this is probably the team where lynette being the only anemo character to buff attack% rather than em is most significant

I havent wish since Hu Tao's rerun banner so i had quite the amount of primos saved, i thought i'll try to get her C6 on day one. But Unfortunately i only manage to get her c2 with a bunch of Barbara cons lmao. But thankfully, i lost 50/50 so thats a guaranteed Furina for me. Hopefully she'll comeback soon with other character that i like.
I got her c4 and caved to get her c6 and risked it on yelan cons. I’m glad I got c5 bennet still I know a lot of people debate to turn it on or not, but for me I’m waiting till you can toggle cons b4 going for that one.
Ive been using her as a driver for Fischl + Nahida with freedom sworn Kuki and absolutely thriving. Even without relying on their damage she has been tearing up content in this game and I'm very happy with her.
Would Using Sara be a good replacement? I felt like a few of the team compositions you came up with using Bennett could easily be replaceable with Sara though all of her constellation buffs will not be used, her attack buff is relatively the same! Good video though 👍
sara atk buff is significantly smaller than bennett and it also lasts only 6 seconds

I had NO IDEA her c6 grants the anemo infusion, i thought it was part of her skill wow. i got her c6 on day one because Lyney took two hard pities to come home so i never realized.

Barely useful/fun knowledge about infusions:
Infusions (ones that can be overridden) actually apply an element to the weapon, and basically everything we know about reactions apply. This is why Candace's infusion "overrides" Bennett's, hydro is simply the strong side if the vaporize reaction. So Lynette applies Anemo once to her sword when she uses her skill. If she already has a swirlable (from Candace/Chongyun/Bennett) infusion, she triggers swirl that deals damage to enemies. If she infuses with her skill first, her sword is applied with anemo (anemo auras are super rare as anemo can't be applied as an aura on enemies!) and if you then use Candace/Chongyun/Bennett's infusion after that, THEY trigger swirl! Non-anemo characters can trigger swirl. This also works on the anemo hypostasis.
BONUS: Keqing can trigger overload and superconduct on her sword. Candace + Chongyn freezes your weapon, making it look funny.
i wish i could play c6 lynette unfortunately it will be many months until u can actually get all the cons for a con dependent character 😐
I actually found her pretty good with C6 Bennett or even with my Chongyun, she still has anemo infusion, in a way, she just swirls the pyro infusion (or cry infusion if you were using Chongyun

I dont really use benneth that much, only on my yoimiya team, but just in case i want to try to use him with eula i dont c6 him even tho my eula team doesnt use benneth so is not a problem for me the c6 benneth

Every. SIngle. Time. I get a survey I put selectable constellations in it. I don't understand why it isn't a thing already. It would help content creator showcases, it could make for some fun challenges for people who already have maxed or high cons, and of course, it woul allow people with C6 Bennett to work with Lynette. Or Eula. Or Keqing. Or Ayaka.
I do wish we could toggle constellations, but I also don't see Bennett's C6, Candace, or Chongyun as much of an issue. I have Lynette triple crowned, and I've activated Bennett's C6 during Fontaine by choice. There are so many other options and archetypes that the problem is incredibly minimal imo.
A team i like if you have C6 Benny which i do. Is Lynette/Nahida/Xingqiu/Kuki and use her more as a driver than a main DPS with viridescent venerer.

Not even toggle the constellation, make the characters own infusion over ride every other infusions (that's logical) and for character without infusion an option to toggle on them an anti-infusion option

Thing is, c6 Bennett is the only character we would really want to turn constellation off. Theorycrafters might have other reason but not as important.
So the question I have is not "When we can turn off constellations?" but "Why Hoyo won't fix Bennett?"
Or fix infusions in general. Like make them only affect caster. It will rob some opportunities but those are so rarely used.

Covid tends to be minor cold sypmtoms, it usually only gets worse if you have a medical history of something like diabetes/obesity or you stay inside constantly... or if you're forced into a facility with a bunch of other people with the same condition, breathing the same air as them. That will do(negative) wonders to your body

I actually like that her c6 can be overridden by bennet c6. Since Xianyun's release, I've been running her as a pyro vape plunge dps, which I do find fun, though I'd like to do a c6 tazer or hyperbloom with her if I ever get past c2.

That's the reason I've not c6 Bennet yet, the small buff c6 gives is not worth the potential incompatibles it may bring to future Characters.
