Very informative video! Could you please show how to have this set up but all hardwired incase there’s no internet connection? DSLR + iPad wired to Wcm + Dnp printer. Thankyou!
The shallow depth of field at 1.8 is cool for single person shots but you may want to change to a smaller aperture and adjust strobe power and shutter speed accordingly so larger groups will all be in setter focus (and any background neon signage etc as well).
A few weeks ago I acquired the aircastpro 3 wireless print server and this is a beast . It’s a better deal than the wcm serie and you can unlock all features very easily and it supports many printers so check this out
Awesome video thank you!! Totally appreciate you. I bought the same printer on Amazon but the power cord was missing. Had to reach out to Amazon hope they respond soon
hello! quick question: what do you use for your wifi connection? do you a line you pay for monthly for your ipad or a monthly hotspot for multiple devices?
Printing speed isn't to bad, connected to cables I got my printing speed down to 9 seconds with the same printer. As a side note, if you do 2x6 strips on that printer, you get 2 prints and the line of customers will even go faster. Granted your customers don't get a 4x6 print but if you slammed and your printing a group of 10+ people in one group shot, it saves a lot of time.
@@LOTTOAURA Depends on the software your using. You need to enable the printer to do the 2 x 6 cuts as well. Just google dnp rx1 2x6 cut you will find it.
Just found your channel and your videos are awesome David! Learning a lot! Which suppliers do you use for the shell of the photo booth? I live outside the US
Awesome video very helpful ,i was wondering can the Anker power bank power the pc printer and camera if needed because i was planning on buying a bigger photo booth with pc inside ?
Once you send to print can you then start to shoot the next customer? Or do you have to wait until print is done to hit “finish” in the app and restart a new shot? Thanks!
With iPad, wcm plus, dnp printer. Can you use it with cellular data or do you have to have wifi? When I'm connected to the wifi with my printer I cannot send texts or email
Where did you get your DNP WCM from? Just for clarity, this can be used in place of a modem or wifi? So if you're in the middle of nowhere, with this device, you're able to print?
The wcm makes your printer wireless, so that your iPad can communicate over the air the the printer. You can connect the WCM Plus to wifi to have it as a wifi extender.
Question. How can you connect the wcm to the iPad but all send text of the photo to people at the same time? Mine can only print and have to send them later
Very good video, thanks for sharing. Just one comment. You keep referring to the usb cable as firewire. Confused the crap out of me at first because that’s definitely not a firewire connection.
So far I've gone two hours using the anchor battery. It's hard to compute how much life I can actually get because each event has its own size when it comes to attendees. So sometimes the physical prints are low and sometimes the volume is high.
It's all about power consumption as the printer is working harder it's going to eat up more battery. For a four hour event I recommend connecting it directly to the wall outlet.
@@BeYouBoothLLC The printer itself doesn't have Wifi, so the WCM Plus acts as a print server which creates a Wifi network for your iPad to send photos to the printer. There are other products besides WCM Plus (WCM3 and WCM2 are cheaper options that came before WCM plus, but are slower) that will do the same thing. Another example is AircastPro II ...super fast but costs twice as much. These print server options can also be connected to your iPad via ethernet cable with dongles/hubs for even faster data transfer to the printer.

You are right on the money 👌
The dnp ds620 is faster and brings more options and it’s just a tiny bit bigger i carry it it with a nanuk 960 case

Such a great video man. You earned a new subscriber
I really appreciate the time you take to make these videos! Answered all of my questions!
Nice!
The inputs (audio and all that) are because it’s a raspberry pi. The SD card has the operating program.
hello! quick question: what do you use for your wifi connection? do you a line you pay for monthly for your ipad or a monthly hotspot for multiple devices?
thank you sooo much for putting this together. I hope it'll generate some income because I've been watching this on repeat.
Thank you so much!!! I’ve been looking for a printer. I appreciate your research! 😊
Extremely informative! Thank you so much 🎉❤

Great point!! Would you recommend using the perforated media kit or will the blade cut the standard 6 x 4 in half?
I personal use the blade cut, and enable 2x6 prints in the software of snappic.@@canarycapitalrentals
So how do u get it to go to 2x6 cut?

hi im from Türkiye. im always watching to u and im learned a lot of things from yourvideos. im so gratefull. thanks videos
Right on 🤝
Yes we've had about 15 of these over the years. They last forever LoL. And media is not expensive at all.
WOW! That's awesome. Hope to get there soon!
Make a video for that oval touch screen you have in the back… I have one and I’m curious how you set it the PC to the printer etc
Hey David, great work. Which supplier did you buy the printer and paper prints? Does the white roll paper print come with it?

will this power the Ipad if its all connected together like in this video? because how do we keep the ipad charged while being connected to the wcmdmp

Do you know if the WCM Plus connect to Primera Printers or just DNP printers?
Have you used the Aircast Pro?

You are right! It's a USB B
How do you hard wire without AirPrint. I’m having problems with connecting and keeping wifi
I noticed you had an Anker battery pack, how much power do you typically need for your photo booth sessions if they are outdoors?
So far I've gone two hours using the anchor battery. It's hard to compute how much life I can actually get because each event has its own size when it comes to attendees. So sometimes the physical prints are low and sometimes the volume is high.
I love your videos 💜💜💜
Thanks!
Is it a link for the printerr
???? What printer is it
So this doesn't give you the option to print 6x8?
Where your iPad internet connected sir?
how long does the Anker Power station lasts? Thank you
Over 2 hours
thank you
appreciated!!!!!!
Would you say tht anker can power just the dnp printer connected for a 4hr event ?
It's all about power consumption as the printer is working harder it's going to eat up more battery. For a four hour event I recommend connecting it directly to the wall outlet.
How many hours with prints included does that power bank get you?
Depends on how busy the printer is during your event. I can get at least 2 hours on a busy session.
can I use canon selphy cp1300?
iPad want connect to printer
If the ipad has its own cellular data and can share with printer, would I still need the DNP WCM Plus connect module ??
The printer needs an adapter to communicate wirelessly with the iPad.
Got it👍🏼👍🏼 thanks for the fast response🫡
Can I use it with cable?
@@hannahodalik9034 yes, you can use an ethernet cable, but you are still going to need an adapter.
Hi david any link to buy the wcm pro? Thank u
Hi, I don't have the link. It would be really cool if I had an affiliate link so I can win some of my time back.
hello
Can it be used on a Kodak 305 printer?
Not too sure
any clue where to find those printers?
Yes, link in the description.
Can I use the ipad-printer without the wcm?
that's exactly what i wanted to know also
