Very nice explenation of circuits and Ohms law!
I just took a Walmart Maintenance test and over 90% of it was electrical. I already understood these laws and calculations but this would've been a great refresher and would've helped me get done faster since I had to reach way back 30 years in the memory bank to recall but I passed with flying colors.
Here is an equation that my Tech teacher showed us and this has helped me with Ohms and Watts Law like no other!
Spell out the equation in a series of letters I'll show below and if your solving for X, then if the information provided is to the right, you multiply and if any information is to the left you divide.
    VIRP:
So if solving for voltage and you have I (amps) let's say 2 and R, let's say 6, both are to the right so multiply 2 x 6 = 12 therefor 12V is the voltage
Now let's solve for R where the voltage is 12 and Amps is 2, both are to the left of R so we divide and get 6
Lastly let's solve for I with 12V and 2 ohms, because Volts is to the left of what we are looking for in this case Amps we divide 12/6 =2
Just an extremely simple way to keep everything understandable without memorizing triangles!

This makes more sense to me than the ABC's!
Not the Alphabet I learned that whose Omega is Zed. Like the Zepplin that lead Pythagoras. His Muse, the angle he used to find the Hypotenuse.
When is this employed? I'm familiar with Ohms from wiring speakers and i now understood why my sound technician always new how to wire speakers to get maximum output without distortion. His bass was always as close to '11' without Clipping.
I've subscribed so I'll watch more of your videos and come back with a more well articulated question.
Ive always been good at math but never recognized the poetry.
Your style and explanation have completely changed my point of view.
    Namaste.

thank you so much for this! I'm currently in my freshman year but I'm self-studying stuff for the junior and sophomore year to get a headstart on the materials and AP classes. You deserve all the subs in the world! Cheers :)

"its not supposed to be this complicated." Is pretty much what went through my mind when I read about it for class. They kept rearranging the variables so much, that a lot of it just made it very confusing to work with. Thanks for the simplicity.

Good concise explanation. I'm going to watch a couple more times to help commit it to memory.
