- Опубліковано 12 гру 2017
- This physics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into kirchoff's voltage law which states that the sum of all the voltages in a loop must add to zero. This video explains how to solve kcl circuits by using kirchoff's loop rule to calculate the current flowing in a series circuit with multiple batteries / voltage sources. This video also explains how to calculate the electric potential at every point using ohm's law. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

I have a 3.9 GPA and I am about to graduate. You are part of the reason why I have done so well. Thank you for what you do.
hey congrats on that!!!!!
Crazy Joker thanks! This guy made college manageable
Royden Ramirez congrats but still a little lat
Good luck finding a job and congrats.
Crazy Joker man I study physics and Im watching him before exams xD
Legends watching the night before exam.
😂
Me right now 😅😂
😅😅
Why does no one explain the laws like you do. Your teacher must have been amazing, just like you. Your explanation helped a lot, thank you so much.
Late reply but it is likely that if somebody has a doctorate they had excelled in the subject and overlook the struggles students have.

This guy is the best. Already helped me in Calc and Chem. Now he has videos in Electrical engineering??
He's a life saver
@@victor.d1488 the fundamentals, but yes
are these things taught in engineering?.. since in India its taught in grade 12th. Just a bit curious
@@nirekganguly2059 it’s thought also in high school but advanced in engineering
@@nirekganguly2059 yeah in greece too we learn it in like 9th grade, then again a bit more in depth in 11th grade, and if you choose an engineering degree in university, then you learn it best there
I was completely panicking because I felt so lost in class and didn't know what to do. Watched your video and I am so much more calm now. Thank you good sir.
same bro
This man has been helping me all the way from high school till now and I’m in my second year of university. He is just the best
Without OCT and khan Academy, I'd never be able to finish college. Cheers.
You are the best noah
We doing this shit in high school smh
Im wondering, what were your lectures doing??
OCT for president!
@@blacksunnydays so? High school and university have no link in curricula. Just because they did it at college doesn’t mean they didn’t do it at high school.
You're such a great teacher. I've been struggling with physics for a while now
yeah my organic chemistry tutor, who teaches me ICT, chemistry, physics and maths
11:14 "They don't oppose each other, they support each other," What words from a great man!
Thank you! My teacher goes so fast because we have limited time in class. Your videos are so much more clear and easier to follow.
I'm in my first year of my CSE diploma program and I always refer to your tutorials for my digital electronics math & Engineering math. it's been amazing thus far👌
I can't imagine how simple this is when someone explains it like that!
literally anything can be extremely hard or very easy with just the way you explain it.
Thank you from all my heart.
the organic chemistry tutor you are the best... you should take over from my university lecturers
hahaha same goes to me wahahaha
sameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
how many universities will want him
how u guys do this in universities when in europe we have to learn this stuff in 10th grade..bruh american dream
@@georgiamoscalu539 bruh when you go to uni first year will be 10th and 11th physics
physics 1 and physics 2 are basically what school taught you
You are best professor I had ever in my life, I am in university and just because of you, your lectures are amazing, you are such a leader, you have to teach in a big universities . I wish if you have lectures in CS and programming.
do need coding videossss😭😭😭😭
This guy continues to save me. Watch all of your videos, you deliver.
currently my sophmore year taking physics 2 atm. just want to say thank you for always helping me learn when my professors at my university cant.
youre the reason im learning most of these stuff
I love this....I don't think I'll fail any question on this during my examination on Monday... Keep the good work..much love
I feel like I owe this guy so much for teaching me so much stuff throughout my studies
i am about to go back to college for EE and you have given me the confidence to do so. thank you
Thank you....Thank you so much Sir.
Your words are so perfect that it touches both heart and brain, just magical.
If we, Indian have teacher like you at schools & colleges then 😭😭😭
Nice explanation; the only thing is your sign convention is backwards. Engineers in the US use the passive sign convention. The voltage across a circuit element is positive only if current flows into the positive terminal of said element. The implications of the passive convention are that energy absorbed by an element is positive while energy supplied by an element is negative. (You essentially add up the voltage drops and subtract the voltage rises.)
I was wondering the same thing. In my circuits class, we also learned the passive sign convention so all the signs are flipped. While in my physics class we used the sign convention shown in the video. Very confusing as a student
literally been looking for the comment. Thought i was tripping im in linear circuits
@@nickkoteff4777 No worries. Circuits was always one of my favorite courses in EE. 🤠 Best of luck to you in your future career.
THIS MAN HELPED ME GET THE BEST GRADE IN MY CLASS ON ACS CHEM FINAL. TYVM :)
Same here! Everyone failed the ACS final but he saved my score so I was able to get the best score. Now he's saving me on the MCAT :)
More than I got in one semester of electronics in college. Of course the teacher didn't have half the skills you do. You made a difficult subject for me embarrassingly easy.
Excellent explanation with clear definition and examples of increasing difficulty. The whole video developed logically. Really helpful!
Thanks a lot man! I have a midterm today in electrical theory and this helped a lot!
I know it's been said over a hundred times but you are really good. Thanks very much🙏
The tutor is just too much, you making my life easy
Thanks! I finally understood Kirchoff's rules. YOU'RE MY #1 CHOICE. 👏👍🙏

Best videos on kirchoffs voltage law🙏🏻 tnx a lot . I hope ur sent from heaven. Once again tnx a lot and add how to apply this Including junctions
I have to say I did understand and enjoyed you sense reasoning of circuit analysis I have at least read 7 books spend so much time and I came out of it very confused but I have to admit in order to appreciate you video I had to go through this painful process to be able to understand you simple approach thank you
I have one question, which has been bothering me for a while now. If the circuit is broken after the point B and you put a voltmeter between Point B and Point C, would you read 0 Volts?? Also, this channel is awesome, I have been studying for my electronics test and this channel has been the biggest help EVER!
Better explanation than indian teachers ❤️
Indian teachers are busy teaching tricks, they don't emphasize on basics
how do I calculate the potential difference between 2 points? the voltage between point b and c or between point c and d in a complex circuit
Explained so well thank you!! 🙌🏻
i watched several vid and i understand it now ,even my dr didnt teach it like this ,thankyouuuuuu!!

How do you have such deep understanding in so many topics
this guy's definitely a life saver
If you aren't told which direction the current flows ,can you just decide on a direction or must it always enter the negative terminal of the battery and leave through the positive?
You are a good teacher !!!
