    Y'all deserve all the business in world! I can't believe how Linus completely misrepresented your prototype the way he did. Such a disappointing and frustrating approach he took handling the matter. This thing looks sick! I pray that everyone in the market and even those who aren't yet in the market finds y'alls products.

    The fact that both gpu and motherboard line up the same way is going to be a blessing for my future build that I am planning right now, I have a old desk with a lot of drawers in it and most of it is solid wood(A insanely heavy beast) with a glass top plate ontop and one of the drawers(bottom one of the 3 drawers on the left side of the desk) appears to be broken so instead of just fixing the drawer I was thinking of putting a beefy PC into it.
    But so far most solutions I kept finding just would not fit due to cable density where as this would from the looks of things.
    Yes the back panel for that drawer will have fan's in it sucking air out with the bottom of the drawer replaced with a grill of some form or fashion(Not sure yet on how to make it look)
    As for cooling I currently already have a external water cooling loop setup for the existing PC next to that desk which sits through the wall on the other side in a different room so that swap should be mostly harmless.
    So thank you guys for making this it will make this desk PC become a reality.

    Small tip: after placing all parts lined up by the coctail sticks, since you mention you're using those to not lose allignment of the parts, take out each stick and put a screw in halfway. hence, less chance of failure to keep allignment.

      We realised this shortly after posting this, and it is now the suggested way in our official instruction manual. We also supply a specific tool with the block to replace the cocktail sticks. Thanks!

    Believe it or not- I for one, do see the point and use case of a product like this. Of course it is more expensive than a huge air cooler; almost like the point is to be dissimilar to traditional cooling.. nice job. Cheers

    The inlet pipe, why cant it be at a slight angle bend from the chamber to allow higher VRM sinks compatibility?

    • @BilletLabs
      @BilletLabs  7 місяців тому +4

      There isn't the space for two standard 45 degree elbows (to bring it back to parallel) without it interfering with other things. We can do it but the projection suffers, or the inlet pipe comes in at an angle. So it's something we can offer through our bespoke service (as we can solder directly to the block) but we don't do it as standard because the negatives outweigh the positives for most people.

  • @synthetic4

    I have to say that the monoblock turns a high-end PC from a dusty flimsy bulky piece of crap into something compact and beautiful. When I upgrade from my old but great RTX 2070 I definitely want to base my build on one of these, and make a nice 3D printed case around it.
    P.S. The only way I can explain LTT's weird reaction is that somehow Linus liked it so much that he got jealous

    Also, why was the GPU placed in that manner? Display output ports are faced towards the IO shield and you cant put the cables there..
    Even if you get angled HDMI cable or DP cable, the cable is stuck in the case.

      The I/O of the graphics card and the motherboard are meant to line up and be used directly. The MonoBlock is really for custom cases only at the moment.

    I think almost no one is willing to cut a piece of his vrm heatsink.. and not only because there will be less cooling for the vrms. You guys need to fix this if you want to made this a commercial product.

    • @BilletLabs
      @BilletLabs  7 місяців тому +16

      There are plenty of motherboards available with compatible (smaller) heatsinks which don't need cutting to fit the Monoblock. Remember though that this is a product geared towards pushing the boundaries of Small Form Factor builds and working in custom and unconventional cases - enthusiasts in that sub-genre are used to doing a lot more than trimming heatsinks, so this should be an easy job for them if they want to use a motherboard with large VRM heatsinks.
