It's better to have 1 solid base team going to fuel the rest of your MD runs in the future than a random trail mix that can't maximize their damage without their teammates IDs. The sinking team is especially pretty expensive to build on newer players' stash of thread/exp tickets, it'd be better to focus on the generalist IDs > any of the status teams as they require alot of shards to fully equip in the long run. Grabbing good generalists now is essential, since the battlepass is essentially locked for 3 weeks, so you can't really shard anything until then.

This means that anyone looking to grind out shards from BP at the end of it, won't be able to until the very last part of Canto 7 drops, which is on Oct 24th.
Maid Ryoshu is severely underrated. She is definitely one of the best clashers( S1 rolls 14 in UT4), and her S2 being quick and slash would make her the best ID for slash EXP luxcavation on Holidays and Mondays in the new season. Hope this help new players choose what to purchase.

As a new player, I pulled pequoid captain Ishmael, Edgar Gregor and Ryoshu, Dieci Meursault and Hong Lu in like 2-3 multi. And exchanged for Grip Sinclair with S1 card. Now I am doing some last minute mirror dungeon grinding to get wild hunt heathcliff before season ends.
A advice from a new player to other new players. Charge team is really good try to get multicrack Faust. And if you are not going for charg team i advice you to get wild hunt heath and if you can get maid ryoshu but your priority should be wild hunt heath . when he gets enough coffin you will destroy enemies
Charge team is just great in general for new players, not the strongest in md or rr, but consistent strong and easy to use for story, md and all other gamemodes

Charge team has decent damage and just about the best clash power across the team and a good amount of evades, which also makes it one of the safest teams to use. As long as they have enough sanity, charge and skill 3s available, they can clash most of the strongest attacks in the game. Rupture pretty much has the best damage, but rather weak clashing and can be difficult to maintain out of MD. You'll almost never have to waste turns to maintain count for status effects or restart a fight because a unit died with charge, so it's still a pretty good option. The only content where I wouldn't recommend charge is RR, but even that can be completed within the turn limit with a charge team.
I know he's a bit complicated for new players, but it's weird you don't have Wild Hunt in unga bunga either. He ramps so damn hard in the long form fights they're moving towards.
I will always advocate for Maid Ryoshu being better than her counterparts. Her Evade is the best one in the game, being able to regen SP everytime you evade is just an absurd start, in abno fights you basically receive 0 dmg for 45 sp. If compared to W.Corp effectiveness her S1 is better at clashing, her S2 is better at AoE scenarios and her S3 doesn't require her to reach a certain requirement to use (mainly looking at a S1 S1 S3 starting scenario). As for Spider there's obviously the fact that one is Blunt and other is Slash so you can use what's more effective, but it that doesn't matter you're almost always better off with Maid's survivalibily. Spider can heal, yes, but Maid can Evade, while against weaker enemies healig may be favorable, once you face a very hard hitting enemy Evade becomes your best friend. Spider can take some hits, but get hit too hard and you'll get staggered, if a skill is gonna hit hard you're gonna possibly have to use a 4th Match Flame on Spider while Maid can just Evade because most of these big skills are big due to clash power. As for damage, AoE is alredy best at dealing with multiple enemies in this game so that's that, as for one big enemy I'd say she still holds fine even without something like W.Corp Slash Fragility. & it's mostly because these big enemies are mostly fought in the abno-fightstyle, so you can definetly solo Maid every boss in the game as by the time you have 6 slots you might as well have 6 S3 to throw at the boss, W.Corp can't really do that and Spider only get one upgraded S3 per turn, Maid's is just a good S3 that can Crit sometimes. The best example I can give is Walpurgisnacht, she can solo all of them altought the first one is not gonna be very useful as it's more specific on it's conditions. But the 2nd and 3rd have been very easy with just her. In the 2nd she can easily deal dmg to the small mobs and with good setup even helped you get the "x" kills in one skill quest while the boss was easily downed after a couple S3's. The 3rd was more of an normal abno fight followed by a big boi at the end so altought not very special it still showcases how well she does in these scenarios. Now, is Maid STRICTLY better than Spider and Maid? No, if your style is UngaBunga then they're definetly better fit for you, but if you don't really have a specific team and is not sure if you can do a stage, you can definetly pick Maid for a more "Safe" option.
I'm confused, at the end of the video you say that "seasons typically last only 2-3 months", but Season 4 lasts 196 days (6.5 months), Season 3 was 144 days (4.4 months), so clearly the trend is that future seasons are going to take longer and longer.

For new players, don't play tremor team unless you have Yurodivy Hong Lu and the frog ego. At the very least the id is the most important one to get (unless you want to put non tremor id into tremor team to just bring the frog ego) so you can access reverb tremor despite only for 1 turn. You better play other team because tremor is just useless without reverb
Can confirm as a former new player who started during T Corp Don banner, and went off with a full Tremor team, that is not the case. Tremor is good even without Reverb, it's just that with Reverb all the combos click together. (I do have Reverb now)

Having 99 tremor potency is just useless when the boss doesn't have any stagger bar left, or even if it has and get staggered with it, 99 potency rupture will vaporize any enemies on the spot no question asked. Why not include someone like pequod harpooner or twinhooks? they're going to become demons in the new meta because they're bleed poise, one of the strongest hybrid teams yet.
Im kind of confused tbh Will season 4 ids be the only ones to be locked out from sharding or will all of the previous season ids also be locked out from sharding and if its only the season 4 ids will we be able to get them again in the future or will it be forever gone from the shard pool
Correction: limbus pass ego is available for dispenser for the next season , the things that gets removed in the dispenser are season ids , season event ids , season event ego and season ego until 2 season have passed (you can still get season ids from extraction but thats low possibility)

It is also important to note it is better to prioritize seasonal/event IDs because standard IDs will always be available on the shop.

But typically the range is about 4-7 months for each season now

Seasonal IDs become available for sharding after two seasons have passed. So for instance season 4 IDs and ego will be back on season 6
