No, it won't devlop a metal the same way and isn't about endless APM rerolling. Reynad, the creater, is a very skilled pro card player that wanted to make a more balanced and fun game.

That launch seems like created by some top tier corpo team, not like by game "from fans to fans"
Yes. You'll be able to trade all your cosmetic items there. Last I heard, their plan was to have 24-hour auctions. You'll also always be able to see who the original owner of the item was and how they got it. So will be cool to have your username attached to rare items even if you decide to sell them for in-game currency.

Couldn't people make a bunch of bots, get a good day 1 ghost, and just leave them as is in the pool? Do you lose prestige based off of the strength of the ghost? Is it just random luck on what day 1 ghost you match up with? I personally think the game feels a little too single player to me, much more than autochess for example.
Ghosts are one and done. Once you fight one it's out of the pool. Prestige is lost based on day. So on day one you only lose one. Day 10 you lose 10, etc. You are always matched with ghosts on the same day as you, but the ghost is random. It's not based on how well you have performed throughout the run or anything like that. I hope those answer your questions. Let me know If you have anymore!

IMO, this game will fail hard for several reasons: -Its not free, costs quite a bit of penny actually -It seems very complex, i mean their target players must be the strategy and details obsessed ones. It has Artifact vibe all over it -The gameplay itself is not very engaging, i mean, you're just looking at a screen of numbers and colors, its more like chess -Being a game like chess will not make casuals stick with it
This game looks and feels like "we've seen it all before"... What kind of lore are they going to create for this? Really like card games but keep my expectations very low for now...
I think it's fair to take the wait and see approach and a lot of people seem to be doing that. Won't know for sure how good the game is until it's actually out and people get their hands on it. For the lore it sounds like they plan to consistently expand it and eventually branch out to other mediums if the game does well. I do think the game is fairly unique and pretty different from anything out there right now.

sorry this game look mad boring, it looks like a cheap knock off a mobile game and even worse than flesh and blood the whole concept is boring, you dont even have cards to play around just hero and bunch of items.. I call it now . 100% a failure on launch and dont appeal to massive crow. this is 100% a niche game
I'm not a big fan of auto-battlers either. But I do think this game has something special. Might be worth giving it a try during the open beta when it goes free to play.
