this is a really good really recommended tutorial for beginners if you wanna do these kinda animations( almost burned my computer) i made this simulation and it has work very well
For the people that the particles don't follow the line! Make Sure that the circle ''particle emitter" is in the closed grey cirle from your curve not the circle with stripes!
Good afternoon. A good lesson, very interesting and informative. And the first question is: How to combine two particle systems here??? I saw a variant with hearts. But here's the problem, the particles do not want to work correctly when there are two installations of force fields. The particles fly very far from the proposed paths. Hurtful.
Excellent tutorial! Thank you! I'm very new to blender. How did you accomplish the outside of the container? In the tutorial, you create a cube, then later delete the top face. In the video, it looks like that container is inset into a flat surface. It's a nice effect that finishes the look of this!
I haven't seen anything on this addon in a while! Excited to try to use it again, wasn't very successful last time I tried 😅. If possible, could you do a tutorial on doing something like the "water sphere" from the 5th Harry Potter movie? I've been trying ro recreate it but it doesn't look quite right. (I've been trying to use shaders for the sphere and sims for the foam and spray but I'm not super confident in either)
Great Tutorial. Thank you! but i don't know why the collision part is not working the particle starts to fall and move through the collision so what did i forgot to make or what is the problem?
Great Tutorial. Thank you! Is is possible to use more than one Curve Guide and Force Field? I'm trying to create a word, with letters as guides. But as soon as i add the second Guide with Force it starts to act weird.
Yes I believe that is possible. What you would need to do is have multiple collections with a different Curve Guide in each. Then in the particle systems select the different collections for the Effector Collection in the Field Weights tab. Same thing at 10:30
First of all awesome tutorial! I followed all your steps exactly, but somehow my particles in the inner cube are falling down from top sided if the box to the bottom. And my particles from the circle that follow the blender logo curve, does not interact with the particles in the inner box after simulating with molecular. Btw I am using Blender 4.0 where the molecular menu has moved from the particles side panel to the physics tab. Any suggestions? Thnx!
Hey Man, you tutorials are great and awesome, can you please guide me to the right place to create a BI Dashboard for data visualisation. Thanks, Keep up the good work
I got the sam issue where my particles fly out of the box, in the tutorial it says to reduce its amount or somethin but that aint working for me still, what amount is he asking to reduce to get rid of that problem @@Leukick
What do you do between the end of the Collision chapter and the start of the Scale Up the Particle System chapter? You're clearly doing something, as the scene before the cut is not identical to the one after, and scaling the particles after baking the simulation will just break the bake.
Got everything to work great, but my rocks that the curve is interacting with dont really move and shift around like yours. How do you make the rocks more interactive with the curve going through them?
The particles on my cube just go down when I bake it. Do you know why is this happening? You only explain what to do if the float away but not what to do if they drop to a thin layer
I want to make sand particle as like dessert but real sand particles like this for product cgi bg design... But I'm totally helpless.. as like i want to put my product on sand grains with bit cloudy displaced plane with some stones so that its look like the product is on sand grains with stones.. Can you please please help me out with this as I'm tired since a year finding this solution
Hello, I tried making the particles smaller but they fly off the screen. I made them tiny or big but the result is the same. Dont understand what im doing wrong. The container does not hold anything.
@@MTOcreations You set 1 keyframe then on the very next frame you set another keyframe at a different location. The camera moves positions over the course of 1 frame. That's why you can't see it.
@@MTOcreations the "proper" way (it's more manageable) is to add a marker, and bind a camera to a marker. if you do a quick search for those terms you'll find a tutorial on it for sure.
Unfortunately, the Molecular addon doesn't work with my Blender 4.1. Is there another approach or alternative I can use? Or it's only on my computer that doesn't work?
Mwahahahahahaha! Missed the bit where you duplicate the cube to "catch" the other particles. So on my on HP Spectre 360 laptop, I had to either wait 2 hours to stop the simulation, or crash out of the application. That now seems to cause a problem, and you never get the simulate start button back. I have tried removing then reinstalling the molelcular add-on. Seems to be a known issue, though I am running 3.6 and the add-on appears to be for 3.1/3.2 so stay tuned. ... DOH! Downloaded 3.2.2. Installed molecular add-on, turned on mesh extras. Opened the file created in 3.6.0 and same issue. The issue is literally now baked into the file. Will need to start again. Take care with your baking, let it run to close and don't stop it. No news at github about a fix.
DOH! Fix was to open a new 3.2.2 file. Use append to borrow the hard work from the other file. Set up and start bake, leave for 12 hours to find your poor little HP Spectre has not enough memory, ... , 😭
bro somethings wrong, after baking the simulation the cube particle sim just disappears after frame 72, all the start and end settings are at 1 to 500 but it just vanished at frame 72

best tutorial since I started to blender❤❤
Now THAT is beautiful
well. It doesn't work in Blender 4 with latest molecular. They move Molecular to physics tab and there is no sand option
If the particles you emit are in a straight line, try changing the emission source to "vertices"
Thank you for your time ! Very nice job !
I was wondering if the curve need to be open for the curve guide force ?
