Hi Pranjal, first of all.. thank you so much for this awesome tut! Really useful. I almost got everything working like you have right now.. the only 2 parts where I have a different outcome are; 1. creating the second top view shot, when I rebake the simulation (after deleting the 2 force fields) and put the plane with ocean modifier and your settings in the container.. the rebaked simulation makes all the particles bounce out of the box like a pasta pan that is overcooking.. and it's way more then they did in the previous bake/shot I finished. 2. my particles are shaded like a tiger like patterns (stripes from top to bottom) instead of the top and bottom corner being orange and the middle part being black like yours. Do you maybe have any suggestions? Thank you!
Thank you so much for checking out the video. The paricles bouncing off could be bacuse of the low friction value. Try changing that. Also run a clean simulation making sure all the old ones are deleted. For the shaded pattern , not sure what is happening in you scene. Can you send it to me and I can take a look,.

Fusion is good if you just want to do your own stuff but if you want to grow as compositor and work in production then definitely Nuke is the way to go. Nuke has some robust tools and is well scalable.
Hey great video man, I've been going around your video up and down and side to side and for some reason in my experiment the balls just go trough the colission object they dont traspass it completely but they stay half way across am i missing something?
I see that I can "pause" the baking of the molecular simulation. Is there a way to "resume" where I left off? I'm assuming no, but asking anyway just in case.

Hey Pranjal! I noticed during the force field creation there's a FLIP Fluid Physics setting on top as well at 05.59. Is that relevant to be added whilst changing the parameters of the force field? If so how do you do it?
I followed this tutorial and rendered 370 frames in cycles with 128 samples, full HD and default denoiser on. I used a really shitty laptop and the render time was roughly 35 hours. I could've used my main computer, but I wanted to play while laptop was rendering. :D
@@jalpranjal I have same problem. And I had to scale particles way smaller to avoid "expolding" at start. So simulation scale does not match to geo. Any idea what's wrong? Self collision is activated. Using blender 3.0

After I add nod wrangler (around 11:40 ) spheres become completely black and the nod in the shader editor becomes yellow instead of green...what can it be this time?)
@@jalpranjal main problem is that spheres have that same colour, there is no different types of shading on some of them...they just all have the same texture settings, despite me connect nods (and settings) the same way you do. Yellow nod wrangler maybe signalise that my particle/mapping nods sequence doesn't work correctly.

Hey im having trouble with the script. Everything installed fine and can sort of get a scene working like yours, although the particles do collide with each other, they do overlap a bit and i dont know why. Also, i've tried with another scene using a collection of different rocks as particles and when i run the simulation it just explodes rather than falling and they are not near anything and dont have any initial velocity, and when they collide with each other/another mesh, they do not rotate at all but fall straight regardless of their direction. :/ can you/anyone help?
Hey Arta. Sorry for the problems you are facing. As far as I can understand your problem the repulsion of particles could be happening because your friction and damping setting are two low. Try getting them obove 0.1. If that doesn't sloves it then make sure before you start the Molecular simulation the spheres are not intersecting each other in the cube volume. Hope those steps solves your problem. If not let me know and we will figure out something else. Thanks
The molecules are colliding but have gaps between them when fallen, almost like a force field where they are floating on each other ^^ Does any perhaps have an idea why? (Blender 2.9)
@@cactusmusic6058 Appreciate your curiosity. It's always a good habit to focus on principles like color/composition/design rather than getting mesmerized by the software. As said hundred times softwares are just tools. Start with any Basic blender course but try getting the art fundamentals right.

@@luchoMKlove Well don't have the parameters as such in my mind. But I would start with animating the emission frame and then use a point force field to cheat the physics.Hope that helps

Yes I guess. That will be a lot of keyframes though and slow down the playback I guess.

You can try adding an universal drag force field to keep them on the plane.

If you increase the friction and damping it should slow down the wiggle.

Any fix for gaps between the emitter particles? The particles appear "floating" on top of each other instead of colliding.

did it work without adding the node wrangler. You don't necessarily need node wrangler to shade the spheres

But my particles squish together,
And bouncing far more than this.
Don't know what's missing.
Make sure the friction and damping are above 0.1 and self-collision is activated.

Change to ico-hedron and then it worked better. Properly some friction or value 🤷♂️

Hey. Sad its not working for you. Please make sure the spheres are touching each other and scaled down a bit before you start simulating.

Oh. Make sure you don't have sphere touching each other at the beginning of the simulation.
