      By the way, do you know how to make the particles not go half way through the container? It's like the container interacts with their origin, not their mesh, and half of the mesh of the particles sinks through. Anyway, thanks again!

    Hi Pranjal, first of all.. thank you so much for this awesome tut! Really useful. I almost got everything working like you have right now.. the only 2 parts where I have a different outcome are;
    1. creating the second top view shot, when I rebake the simulation (after deleting the 2 force fields) and put the plane with ocean modifier and your settings in the container.. the rebaked simulation makes all the particles bounce out of the box like a pasta pan that is overcooking.. and it's way more then they did in the previous bake/shot I finished.
    2. my particles are shaded like a tiger like patterns (stripes from top to bottom) instead of the top and bottom corner being orange and the middle part being black like yours.
    Do you maybe have any suggestions? Thank you!

    • @jalpranjal
      @jalpranjal  8 місяців тому

      Thank you so much for checking out the video. The paricles bouncing off could be bacuse of the low friction value. Try changing that. Also run a clean simulation making sure all the old ones are deleted. For the shaded pattern , not sure what is happening in you scene. Can you send it to me and I can take a look,.

Everything installed fine and can sort of get a scene working like yours, although the particles do collide with each other, they do overlap a bit and i dont know why. Also, i've tried with another scene using a collection of different rocks as particles and when i run the simulation it just explodes rather than falling and they are not near anything and dont have any initial velocity, and when they collide with each other/another mesh, they do not rotate at all but fall straight regardless of their direction. :/ can you/anyone help?

    • @jalpranjal
      @jalpranjal  4 роки тому

      Hey Arta. Sorry for the problems you are facing. As far as I can understand your problem the repulsion of particles could be happening because your friction and damping setting are two low. Try getting them obove 0.1. If that doesn't sloves it then make sure before you start the Molecular simulation the spheres are not intersecting each other in the cube volume. Hope those steps solves your problem. If not let me know and we will figure out something else. Thanks

      Oh. Make sure you don't have sphere touching each other at the beginning of the simulation.

    Does this work in Eevee?

      I guess not. Particle info node works just in cycles

  • @Cyber_Kriss
    @Cyber_Kriss 4 роки тому

    I tried it for like 2 hours, tweaking any parameter I could find... All I ended up with was exploding particles, like in rigid body simulations when objects are too close.
    Meh...

      @@luchoMKlove Well don't have the parameters as such in my mind. But I would start with animating the emission frame and then use a point force field to cheat the physics.Hope that helps
