this looks like fun! Mikey you make it seem so much easier than just reading the pattern. Thank you SO MUCH for doing these videos for us!! You are priceless!!
Every now and then, after 40 plus years of crocheting, I find a new pattern I want to try. This is one of them. The last one was your crocodile stitch which I love using. Thank you Michael. See you this Saturday at the Creativ Festival.
Thank you Mikey for explaining it so easy. I came across Facebook and seen one of your advertisements about 5 to 6 years ago. From there I went to your website and have been following you ever since. Thank you once again you are one of God's special people, God bless you sweetie.
After seeing the afghan tutorial, I did this as a 7x9" rectangle to include in my pile to be donated for the Warm Up America afghans. Really a fun pattern!
After three false starts I finally completed a scarf! I am beyond happy! I have already started a second. Thank you for this video! Best I have found for learning this stitch.
Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your terminology used as it made it much easier for me to follow what you were saying.. When you used "box", "growing", and especially "fold it over like a book"; each of these phrases impressed upon me exactly what you were talking about and what I had to do. Thank you so much for all your patterns, challenges, and videos. You make new patterns extremely easy to do. Just sorry that I'm not closer to attend your classes/seminars.
hi good day, I really enjoyed this scarf, and while not quite understand the English knitting just see what I can understand, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and your ability .. have a nice day, sorry if my English is very accurate but it costs a bit. regards
I received a baby blanket with this stitch for my daughter, but did know the name of it or how to replicate it. I have been looking for this stitch for months! Thanks Mikey, now with your tutorial I can make this stitch into blankets and so much more! >.
Hi from the picture it looks like Mikey just ran a few rows of sc around the edge of the scarf to give it a more finished look ...hope that helps ....Cathy@The Crochet Crowd :)
Mike this is outstanding :-). I have become your special friend . Many years I crochet but only did the plan Jane:-(??? You put it to the next level! God bless and Thank you.
This pattern dates back to the 1800's and is the first pattern I learned. I would love to learn its origins and creator. At the same time, it is my go to pattern when I need a quick blanket. Love it:-)
Have made soooo many of these with Caron cakes. They come out beautiful. People think I have mad skills! 😂😂😂😂😂 Thanks for the clear and concise instructions.
Thanks Mikey you came through again on a scarf idea. I bought Caron Cakes Latte, and for the life of me, I didn't know what pattern to use, because I wanted the pattern to show up for how soft and wonderful this yarn is. Thanks again!
This is such a beautiful stitch and I absolutely love how this turns out, not to mention that doing this is actually fun ! I would love to create more of your projects and thank you so much for the tutorial :)
I love this blanket it is easy and fun. I have 4 blankets going , all of them in different stages . Thank you for your help bye making rhis video Dorothy
Thank goodness for this video! I kept watching the afghan video but it fast forwards through the part where you stop growing a side after the 1st show of it so I never was sure were to end on the 2nd pass and on. I almost frogged the whole afghan!
This C2C pattern is the perfect video for me to share with the folks over at Warm Up America Makers. Often people want to,learn this stitch in order to make 7x9” sections for blankets.
Mikey--I absolutely LOVE listening and following your tutorials. For a beginner such as myself I greatly appreciate the way that you explain the stitches. This particular pattern, however, took me a few tries to get started. Once I figured out the orientation of the beginning corner it was a piece of cake. So, thank you. :)
Fantastic!!! Thank you so much for helping me so I can better teach my students! I would highly recommend any crochet crowd tutorials! Simply fantastic.Very well done.Very well explained.
I love this stitch. You made it very easy to learn after attempting to learn it watching multiple tutorials. Thanks!! Please keep the tutorials coming.😘
Thank you 💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿. I tried a few other tutorials, and I just couldn't get it, I was beginning to think something was wrong with me. I got you on my first try 😂😉.
I'm doing the corner to corner afgain right know. I did 96 blocks know I'm decreasing back down to make it a square. It goes real fast except when u get to the middle of the project. Its fun cause I can watch TV and do my project without thinking to hard. But I made a oth to myself to finish one project at a time. It doesn't matter how long it takes to finish just as long u finish.
Thank you so much for teaching me how to do C2C! This will be my 3rd project in this technique and it so much fun! I would never have managed to master it had it not been for your tutorials. I am also planning on paying this forward by teaching crochet to some of my friends. This is great for stress relief and just plain entertainment. I think everybody should be able experience the beauty of crochet.
Like many other comments I have noticed, I too would like to know what you did to finish the edge in the picture of the scarf. I have finished my scarf, but love how the one you have in the picture looks. Without the edge, it just seems a little plain to me. Thanks for all your great tutorials and or teaching me how to crochet & know. I began watching your videos 2 years ago & had NEVER knitted or crocheted a day in my life, but had also admired people who did.
THANK YOU so much for sending me the pattern for Corner to Corner Scarf, I have been making the Corner to Corner blankets for ages but couldn't work out how to make the scarf (I dont read patterns very well) lol AWESOME!!! :-)
