      Hi Jim! I just started writing my dreams immediately when I wake up. I'm planning to do this every weekday. Do you recommend to do it every single day or have weekends off in writing dreams too? LOL

      @@younmefrienno, the more often you wrote down your dreams in the morning, the easier it becomes to remember it without writing it down

    I've always lucid dreamed. It's so incredible, but honestly when I'm stressed I end up waking up more exhausted because I was running from crazy things in my dream and saving people lol. I am excited to try your tips out, really hoping to be able to start recalling my dreams better and longer.

    I’ve always been a vivid dreamer. I can remember dreams from as young as 4 years old, and over 20 years later, I can recall them clearly. Began journalling my dreams more consistently and it’s become an integral part of my meditative practises

    Dreams are highly underrated and people don't pay enough attention to them. You're having the most amazing adventures and experiences everytime you sleep and you forget most if not all of it

    I often have vivid dreams and have been a lucid dreamer since childhood. Since the pandemic the nature and quality of my dreams have changed. I'm learning how to navigate my new dream life and looking forward to new ways to relate to my dream self and dreaming.

    Just because you don't remember your dream.. YET 👀🍀🍀I like that line. Studies show that about 30 years of sleeping is the avarage and it will probably increase cos lifespan increases. I mean hi.

      Look into dream recall practices.
      The most important thing is keeping a dream journal.
      When you first wake up don't move and try to remember what you dreamt about. If that doesn't work try to remember places you've been, people you've met or how your day went the day before to iog your memory
      I also highly recommend using meditation, this will help a lot.
      If you smoke weed or drink you may want to quit or take or break. It's not impossible to do but it does make it a lot harder

    I do remember my dreams sometimes and i always try to recall it. Just for fun tho. Do we always dream? What if i do dream and cannot remember at all? is that a sign of memory impairment? Can anxiety and depression cause forgetfulness and memory degradation?

    • @shadw4701
      @shadw4701 2 роки тому +1

      Every time you sleep you dream after a certain period. This period usually takes place around 30 minutes but it depends on a number of factors. This period where dreams occur is known as REM sleep. You have a few phases of REM every night.
      Dream recall/the ability to remember dreams is linked to many things like memory, self awareness ect. There's practices to increase dream recall most important being a dream journal. You can also lose recall if you smoke weed or drink among other things. It's very common to have low dream recall

    • @Chakrakhanukkah
      @Chakrakhanukkah 2 роки тому +1

      Nightmares are dreams, albeit, unpleasant ones. Perhaps explore ways to reframe your definition of nightmare? You are having a dream that is alerting you of an unconscious fear...or something for you to examine, find words that are meaningful to you.
