Thanks so much for watching! Which Scooby-Doo movie is your favorite? Let me know! Happy Halloween!
Like man, this video is totally Fringe lol
Cyber chase was one of my childhood favorites
I don’t think I have a favorite but the 2nd and 3rd live actions movies are entertaining. Phantonsaurs, Cyberchase, and Chill out Scooby-Doo are nostalgia. The Kiss movies and the WWE movies are great. Really any of the crossovers are fun times. I love so many of them but my favorite has to be between Camp Scare and Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King.
For next year or this year Please Please Please Please do video on The Scooby Doo Show 1978 through to 1978, The New Scooby Doo Movies, 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo, and also lasty The New Scooby Doo Mysterys TV Series TV Shows Please Jordan!!!
As someone who has seen EVERY SINGLE episode and movie of Scooby Doo this video makes me happy. My favorite is Zombie Island 2nd favorite is CampScare.
I love how Zombie Island, Witches Ghost and The Cyber Chase gave us actual supernatural antagonists
What do you think the first 3 movies also did?
@@Flyboy1953 so 2 are real supernatural antagonists and 1 is a twist real supernatural friend. Doesn’t really change my point
@@Flyboy1953 the antagonist of ghoul school are also supernatural
What about the alien invaders. Turns out the hippies were aliens
Yeah. Alien Invaders was a great subversion of things.
The collective Scooby-Doo Knowledge of Jordan Fringe, Billiam, and JelloApocalypse is enough to fill an entire library
I'm so glad Jello introduced me to the Kiss movie
Also Caddicarus for some reason
Gotta toss nerdsync in as well
Don't forget Breadsword
And scoobytopia
It's bizarre how as the video progresses I realize "Wait...I think I've seen ALL the Scooby-Doo movies", and even the ones I haven't seen in years I still have vague memories of the events of the film
I think they used to play them late at night on cartoon network sometimes. We had a tiny TV in the kitchen and I sneaked out of bed to watch snobby doo after everyone went to bed a few times lol
same dude it’s bizarre
Tbh, I remember watching a lot of the “What’s New” Era Movies as a kid, specifically Monster of Mexico, Loch Ness Monster, Where’s My Mummy, Pirates Ahoy, and Samurai Sword, those were my absolute favourites as a kid
I like your taste, but you're a brit
I’m not even a Brit, I’m Canadian
SAME! Those were my favorite too
Whoever animated the hex girls are heaven sent. Also the first 4 direct to home movies are incredible and have such a unique mystique
man had crush on hex girls since i was a kid
The absolute grip "The Reluctant Werewolf" had on me is unmatched--I used to rent it so much from a video store next to where we bought groceries that it was a cycle of returning it and immediately renting it back. My dad had to convince me there was a line of children waiting for it, so I would finally retire it. I don't believe this was ever the case lmaooo
Yes my favorite to
The one I loved was the Boo Brothers movie. Lol I think in retrospect a lot of my love was that I really liked how they drew and animated the sparkling jewels in the movie. Lol
Zombie Island and the Witch’s Ghost for me. Even 20 years later I still know every word to Terror Time.
The red shirt Shaggy era was really unlike anything else
That other kid waiting for it was me. Reluctant Werewolf did multiple things to my brain.
I remember the time when Shaggy used to wear a red shirt instead of green ones when Fred, Daphne, and Velma aren't around and decided to go independent with Scoob behind his back (and Scrappy) in their new adventures. Those were the strange times.
I always thought it was random that his shirt was red during that time. I thought it was cool how Cyber Chase referenced it tho
The Shaggy Rojo era, where Shaggy truly unlocked his hidden powers.
Boo brothers
Honestly I think the hawaii one being bright and colorful helps it stand out as a scooby doo movie
Starting with Zombie Island and continuing into Witch’s Ghost there was a promising trajectory of the team starting to learn the rules of the supernatural force to use against it, beginning with being out of their depth and saved by luck basically in ZI (running out the clock on Simone and Lena’s feeding window) and intentionally leaning into who can use magic to resolve WG (using Thorn being part Wicca to have her cast the spell to contain Sarah Ravencroft once more). While Alien Invaders does have genuine aliens the antagonists are once more people in costumes, and the movies move back to the monster being a fake.
There's defintely precendent for it, but imo Scooby Doo works better as a Mystery solving show and not like, an episode of Supernatural lol. Maybe they could have done something akin to Scooby Doo mystery incorporated where its a bit of both.
@@Lisa_Flowerseven if the monster is real there can still be a mystery behind it.
@@Lisa_Flowers Friendly reminder that there was indeed a crossover episode of Scooby Doo and Supernatural!
To be perfectly honest, Boo Brothers is one of my favourite Scooby films even now. Even when you consider it being from the "Scrappy era", I still think it was a fun movie and I actually think the Boo Brothers themselves were fun enough characters that showed up just enough that you didn't get tired of their antics. Plus, I don't think Scrappy was as annoying as other times in this movie, especially since he wasn't responsible for ALL the detective work. Heck, SHAGGY was the one to first draw suspicion to the eventual villain.
Boo brothers is too epic for its own good. Felt like a classic murder mystery film
1:50 Honestly I think Scrappy Doo is over hated and I actually liked how Scrappy wasn't afraid of the ghost and wanted to fight them. If you check the history he actually helped jump start the franchise again when it was losing popularity. Now he's treated like dirt whenever he's mentioned which is probably something he didn't deserve...
I also never hated Scrappy Doo, and I quite enjoyed the movies with him (Fred, Daphne, and Velma’s absence aside).
You mean overrated?
I kinda liked it when they had the whole gang, but once it was just Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy the whole thing felt like a fever dream to me.
@@_Suited not counting the movies I agree since eventually it wasn't even about mysteries anymore.
but thats not scrappys fault it was those in charge of the show.
The nostalgia from these Scooby-Doo videos is really hitting me 😢
Same
I remember when cartoon network would play a different movie everyday in the summer.
What's new would come on in the morning and mystery inc would come on at night
Same here.
Jordan the amount of hours you spent watching Scooby-Doo I would say earns you a PhD in Scooby-Doo. Congrats Doctor 😅
Watch out Dr Dolittle. Cause you're not ready for Dr. Scooby Doo
Man, Jordan really crammed everything Scooby and the kitchen sink into his brain to meet the Halloween deadline. You've got a subscriber for life Jordan!
Same bro
Oh, god. My cursed imagination can stop thinking about my brain being bludgeoned by a kitchen sink.
Based and same bro
My fellow 90s kids know that Zombie Island and Witch's Ghost were the shit. Scooby-Doo where are you was good too.
I’m a 2000s kid! Born in 97 and I ADORE Zombie Island and Witches Ghost! They were re-runs on Cartoon Network when I was a kid and Thorn is a big reason I’m bisexual 😅🥵
Zombie Island genuinely terrified me as a child. It’s still, hands down, one of the best Scooby-Doo movies ever!
You can tell how clever the writing for Return to Zombie Island is by the film director being unironically named Alan Smithee. In case you don’t know, that’s the nom de plume a writer or director will be credited as when they don’t have faith in the quality of the film, or otherwise cannot be credited under their regular name due to contractual reasons.
im glad you pointed out how scooby doo relates areas to their myths because it does the same thing with their culture. one thing that really stuck out to me about the rock contest vampire movie was how the gang met up with an aborigine and learned more about them and their way of life. its so much more than just mystery solving
hey, ab*rig*ne is a slur. Please do not use it, the right terms are: First Nations people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, or Indigenous Australians. That has been an offensive slur for a very long time and should not be used. The terms I recommended are ones used by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people because its their own terms, emphasizes that they are people, and avoids slurs from colonisers.
Cyber Chase was my favorite Scooby-Doo movie, too! I must have rented and watched that one so many times as a kid. Man, I miss that old video store.
My favorites are probably obvious for obvious reasons. Mine were Zombie Island. Great story and soundtrack. The Witches Ghost mainly for the Hex Girls, and Ghoul School. I had a huge crush on the vampire girl when I was a kid. It was cool how they brought those characters back for an episodes of OK KO! One of the best and entertaining episodes of that show. 😂
How did you react when Enid turned out to be the vampire girl that younger you was crushing on lmao
those 3 movies are my childhood. Ghoul school is classic.
Some of these movies definitely deserve more in depth videos in my opinion
Try the UA-cam channel scoobytopia if you haven't already
I never understood the scrapy Doo hate, he was one of my favorite characters especially in the Early movies.
Until he became evil on the live Scooby Doo 2002 movie
I think the main problem was that he overstayed his welcome. Imagine if Scooby Dum had been a main character for 6 straight years.
@@michaelwolfe9496 yeah I would get annoyed by that. But scrappy added a lot when it was just shaggy and Scooby without the rest of the gang. He kept them going forward, they probably would have just packed up and left everytime something spooky happened.
With this I realized just how many Scooby Doo movies there really are, and how I've seen WAY TOO MANY OF THEM. I remembered so many movies I completely forgot about, like, usually I just remember the What's New Scooby Doo era of good movies, Zombie Island, Cyber Chase, etc... and by the time it got to the one where Shaggy beats up the Bikers and I had been thoroughly convinced I was like "ok I definitely stopped watching Scooby Doo movies at this point" but then the plot of the fearlessness was explained and I remembered the Bikers scene before the reveal and I was like Oh my God". AND THEN the WWE John Cena movie came up and I was like "Oh God I've seen this one too!!" But for sure the final movie I watched up to on the list was the KISS movie, everything after that I haven't seen.
What I'm getting from The entire series is that the whole crew is lucky... they win every raffle, sweepstakes vacation and have a slew of connections that give them free vacations, free hotel stays, free town trips, free food, free concerts and free transportation.
My favorites are The Witch's Ghost, The Goblin King and Zombie Island. I love when the gang has to deal with real monsters those make my favorites. Witch's Ghost is at the top because Sarah Ravencroft is one of the most threatening foes they've ever faced, it has the Hex Girls and the plot twist at the end is soooo good. love Goblin King because it's a Scooby-Doo themed D&D campaign and I love it for that. Zombie Island is a lot of fun, but it's one of the first instances of the gang facing the actual supernatural.
Oh my god hearing about those original movies was a trip, I remembered those in a way that I wasn't entirely sure they were real
Scooby Doo on Zombie Island is peak. I do like boo brothers and ghoul school but the witches ghost prob second fave, also bc hex girls. Cyberchase and Alien Invaders also memorable for me
Pup named Scooby was my childhood favorite, thanks for reminding me of all the good times
Same here 😊
i absolutely love your editing, thank you for compiling this together
Where's My Mummy has a special place in my heart as a film i watched over and over again on dvd as a kid, especially considering the bomb ass soundtrack
Thank you so much for making this! I’m still majorly obsessed with Scooby-Doo. And I have been ever since Cyber Chase. I’ve seen every single movie (except Samurai sword). I stopped (as a kid) keeping up with Scooby movies after Goblin King. The perfect video to watch for the end of Halloween!
Great way to end my Halloween night. I was born in '97 and I grew up watching the hell out of every one of these until the Hawaii one. Hadn't seen any of them past that point. I think my faves have to be zombie island, witch's ghost, and the alien invaders, with the legend of the vampire getting an honorable mention, but I have a soft spot for all the ones I've seen. That Egypt one looks like a banger, as well as the dinosaur one (herpetologist here), and the one with Bill Nye lolol. Thanks for a great vid!
Soon as you mentioned the Hex girls i had them singing in my head!!!!! Awesome video Jordan!!! I need to go back and watch some of these I missed and go back to watch some again!!! EARTH, WIND FIRE AND AIR!!!
Thanks so much for doing all these deep dives into the Scooby franchise. You just triggered the nostalgia factor when you mentioned the Reluctant Werewolf movie. I think me and my brother had it on VHS and re-watched it so many times. Such a fun time.
Old memories unlocked 🤯 Geez what a nostalgia trip. I didn't realize there were so many movies and I watched the majority of them.
I remember when cartoon network would play a different movie every day. What's new would come on in the morning and mystery inc at night
Best times
Happy Halloween Jordan! And I'm happy that you watched literally every single Scooby Doo film up to date, Though I'd imagine it must've taken forever to watch every film and then do a 50 minute vid on it. lol
But at any rate, Thank you so much for doing another Scooby Doo review video!!!
Acradrabra Scooby-doo is very underrated in my opinion and definitely deserves more love! Thank you though for giving good Praise to some of my other favorite movies from this list like Lochness Monster, Pirates Ahoy, and legend of the Vampire. I’m always going to love Scooby in magic school though! Your channel is very delightful and impressive!
I watched a lot of these movies with my mom when I was younger. We don’t talk anymore, this video has been beautifully nostalgic. Thanks for reminding me about good times Jordan!
Zombie Island and Witches Ghost are goated. Thanks for making me feel old every time your videos hit my feed
Man, you did a fantastic job. Would be awesome to now see you rank them from worst to best
33:47 WTH, they threw a Young Justice cameo into the 1st WWE crossover movie!
I mean yah I guess there’ve been a couple DC collabs throughout time but still what a pleasant surprise…
Theres so many of these that I not only saw as a kid but also LOVED!!! As a kid, I only have amazing memories of almost every movie here, and I'm so curious to see if it's just childhood nostalgia or if I still love all of them-
Witch's ghost, alien invaders, chupacabre, vampires ghost, the Egyptian one, loch ness, the yeti one, SO many of these were my bread and butter!!! I'm inspired to watch them all over again!
I'd also like to make a list of how many things are canon- as in how rich in property Shaggy is, with all these uncles dying and leaving their castles slash manors to him.
I don’t know why, but Vampire Rock was always by far my favourite growing up. I watched it over and over. I think being in Australia and including the Hex Girls did it for me.
I love how you can say its not really scooby type movie and it makes complete sense. Ive been wanting to do a watch through in release order for so long so now I can use this as my guideline thank you. Its hard to pick a favourite but I find myself returning to the movies that had real supernatural takes on them and it always upset me that they never fully explored it. Like the zombie island curse, some of the many different folklores from around the world and the few real ghostly things here and there. Even in the Lochness monster movie they hinted that she could be real within their universe which i thought was really cool.
Great video! Subbed just from this lol. That run of straight to vhs/dvd movies from Zombie Island to Pirates Ahoy was magic.
I actually have The Reluctant Werewolf and Zombie Island on VHS. I LOVED watching those movies over and over again, just waiting for the tape to rewind while watching the blue screen and starting the fun all over again. Ah nostalgia
The first four movies in the 90s were the best with the Mystery Incorporated series. I wish we had animated series from the 90s movie, they were the best addition to the franchise and will always be the real Scooby-Doo Movies at my opinion
Loved watching through this lineup of quick-fire reviews. Awesome job, man.
Thank you for this video and all of the Scooby-Doo content lately it’s been a blast to watch
Damn never realized how prevalent romance was in scooby-doo, it is in almost half the moovies, is like being a shiper is a requirement for the writing team
It's often different couples too. Like, why do they make Shaggy have so much rizz in-universe, seriously
How dare you accurately describe my childhood fever dream which was the Ghoul School!! 80% sure I imagined this until I looked it up a few years ago, think it really has a grip on me as a kid.
You're a real life superhero for reviewing all those movies. When I was young I could never tell the difference between the movies and whatever show was currently on. I feel like a lot of ideas and concepts from What's New Scooby-Doo got made into movies in the late 2010s.
I think it's amazing how it never felt like the franchise was running out of ideas. Between different kinds of monsters and different settings, each combination felt strangely fresh, at least to me.
Also never realized that Zombie Island had a sequel and I'm absolutely gonna watch now.
If you need an idea for the next Halloween, there was a comic book series with Scooby-Doo and the Apocalypse! and I think there's only a matter of time until that gets made into a movie.
33:48 Wonder Girl, Artemis, Zatanna and Mrs Martian.
So many of these classics from when we grew up are still golden
Thank you for such a great nostalgic video content !
I watched you since you made Spyro videos years ago.
Your videos are always full of quality :D
Arabian Nights and The Reluctant Werewolf were actually my introduction to Scooby-Doo and I was... less than impressed. I avoided the series until watching Mystery Incorporated and really enjoyed it. Also, wow, there are a lot more Scooby-Doo movies than I thought.
Super cool seeing real Jordan mixed in with the animated Jordan to fit the theme, always a treat, or should I say scooby snack x)
Your dedication to Scooby-Doo is amazing! I liked hearing about obscure movies and awaking some childhood memories! 😂👍
Not gonna lie, I’m here for the Hex Girls.
Gonna put a spell on you
Love the video. Thank you for all the hard work you put into everything you do.
Awesome video Jordan I especially enjoyed your take on Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase which is weird because it's almost a hot take. Most reviewers have been really bashing on it from what I've seen and I just adored it so much growing up
I remember watching Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase when it first premiered on Cartoon Network when I was a kid. It was part of their Cartoon Theater block.
Ghoul School is still hands down my favorite Scooby Doo movie, probably absolutely blinded by nostalgia but i love it and watch it every year
I like how you covered all of this, you almost never hear about anything post Cyber Chase, granted those four where the best but it's interesting to hear people talk about the others.
Damn dude you go hard on franchises. I love it.
I grew up on Scooby-Doo, and I gotta say this made my whole week
Bro thank you. I needed this today ❤
You've unlocked some deep scooby-doo memories from my mind with this one
This was AWESOME!! Ofc, I didn't agree with all of your takes but it's so nice to have them all laid out like this. Didn't know about the '23 film so I'll have to put that one on. I will say it does seem like you underestimated the age/amount of Hanna Barbera fans. Im nearly 30 and was SUPER stoked for the HB Universe. They played around with the idea during Scooby Apocalypse too and honestly, I'd love to see it go somewhere. But yea, thanks for this!!
Something I really appreciate is that you didn’t give away the villains to the mysteries for those of us who haven’t seen some of these films. Thanks for that, I can’t wait to watch some of these films later!
I watched the ENTIRE Scooby-Doo! Franchise, in a Timeline order, last year, in 2023.
In fact, I actually started 2023, watching Scooby-Doo! 6 months afterward, I got a picture with Matthew Lillard.
I watched Cyber Chase at least 50 times as a kid
That and Zombie Island, and alien invaders. both popular in the early days.
Loved this video!! Really enjoy the Scooby Doo content
THANK YOU for talking about Scooby-Doo and the Silly Bully. No one talks about this film its a little hard to find but its SOOO iconic! "You silly billy! ERM bully!"
you just unlocked so many memories… thank you so much
This is the only channel I’ve been watching for my Halloween content this month 🔥🔥🔥 W video
I don't think I've even seen any scooby do movies! Always love your seasonal content it's a highlight of my year.
Had no idea there was a Courage/ Scooby crossover… I’ll be watching that when I get home tonight, because of you.
I love hearing about the Scooby-Doo series. I was the most die hard fan as a kid, where I would watch a lot of the films on Cartoon Network or Boomerang. The initial 3 films and Zombie Island were ones I watched the most. When they released stuff after like the Witch's Ghost, were all good times. And seeing how the animation changed across the movies is really impressive.
I grew up with alot of the films after cyber chase, it was great seeing the characters go on these adventures and comparing it with the what's new Scooby Doo show.
Thought I won't deny i can only remember one part of the Griffin movie, being shaggy throwing the scepter hard enough to take down the monster
Wow, I had no idea I owned every straight to video scooby on vhs till I saw this video 😂 turns out I was a big fan. Love your content. Thanks!
Oh man, Cyber Chase was my favorite. I watched it so much that the VCR ate the tape. 😂 and I watched Scooby-Doo Goes Hollywood a lot to where the tape was all worn and fuzzy.
Hey Jordan,
I haven't watched every video you put out for Halloween time but nonetheless I wanna thank you for your creative idea and hustle.
Highly appreciated!
All of these movies were my childhood! I watched so much Scooby Doo as a kid, I watched the films from different eras and loved them all ❤
Just for the record, Shaggy does have an athletic background (he mentions in an episode or two that he was a track runner) so it's not *that* far out there to imagine him taking a P.E. teacher job in Ghoul School.
I LOVE Scooby Doo and the Alien Invaders! When I was a kid I had that VCD on constant repeat.
I knew that I was a massive Scooby-Doo fan as a kid but apparently I was a feverish fanatic because I have seen EVERY movie lol.
I appreciate you for making an entire freaking video of all the Scooby Doo movies you have a subscriber for every bro 👍
The dedication man you're incredible
What a nice Halloween treat! Thanks Jordan
Cyber chase was such an influential part of my childhood. Might have to watch that tonight
I watched the first three original Scooby-Doo movies a ton as a kid in the early 90s. Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island came out well after I had aged out of Scooby-Doo, but I remember really liking it since it took a bit of a darker tone (and I was really into zombies). That little witch rap from the opening of Boo Brothers still fills me with this intense feeling of nostalgia that I don't really get from much else these days.
I can see which ones were assisted in animating in Japan and those that weren't. And that neither ones with samurai are among them is almost depressing...
Happy Halloween! This was a fun little event, I hope it continues next year
Scooby Doo has made so many great movies over the years each of them have a unique charm to them and I can't wait to see what the next line up of Scooby Doo films will be like in the upcoming years.
Thank you for letting us know that your favorite batman villain is scarecrow. He my favorite as well, and it is always a joy to hear that someone loves the character.
Ghoul school was one of my favorites but the reluctant werewolf has my heart lol
Fun fact barbie, tom and Jerry and Scooby Doo all get a movie a year so basically it's like a trio
and tmnt
❤ Awesome as always thanks love your videos and love Scooby-Doo
