Tetris Effect is excellent and definitely could have been on here for the graphics update it got. Zenith has some issues but I’m hoping to get some things figured out with it and maybe can make a separate vid on it.
Thanks for this amazing list AJ! After a month of having no psvr2 because my shipment was lost in transit, I finally got my psvr2 last week and have a blast with it. NIce video. My favorite game is Switchback VR. Its disheartening to see a lot of ppl are not playing it just because of some slightly unpolished graphics.. but the gameplay is so much fun. The only downside is being too short
For me there were two things... The graphic were one, but I could get over that, it was the second half of the game that kinda killed it for me. Loved the first half, second half felt rushed. I will definitely play it again though because I did enjoy it overall despite the things...
Nice! I love the shout out about Runner: amazing game that's thrilling to play. Only, it's shockingly hard! It has very long levels and the bosses definitely have to be learned (not a bad thing by any means, just not easy to get used to). I've only made it through the first couple of stages. I haven't figured out when it's ideal to use the sword (as cool as it is). Light Brigade is really good, but I don't seem to be feeling it yet quite as much as some others are but maybe that will come with time. For roguelikes I STILL play Until You Fall all the time which can't seem to be beaten.
Runner is so great. I can play it over and over. I do remember it being pretty challenging at first but now I just obliterate everything and feel like a badass lol. I love the boss battles as well, the only one that's kinda ridiculous is the final boss, but if you know the strategy you can take him down easy and it's also a fun fight. Man, the Light Brigade is such a pleasant surprise. Funktronic finally killed it (I didn't like their previous games, but they had potential). I'd really like to see them build on it because I love the gameplay and think it could have some legs. Thanks dude!
Been playing psvr2 for a week now and didn't think that tetris connected would be my most played. With synth riders and gt7 also. Runner is good but man I'm fed up of dying. Can't even throw a grenade in Pavlov without blowing myself up. Overall good experience but waiting for graphics that aren't cartoonish (if that's even a word)

Apparently there are other games other than GT7...which I can stop playing at any time... Honest... If I could stop thinking about it... But I have also played The Light Brigade - really really great but perhaps not really procedurally generated enough to feel fresh. I wish they would mix up the world order a bit more maybe so you don't start always with the same world. Still incredible though, Think "In Death" but with guns (and wands). No man's sky - feels much better, but needs a UI re-design desperately! Horizon - so disappointed! Give me an open world VR of zero dawn and take off the training wheels please! Visually stunning though. Think 'The Climb' but with the stamina / chalk mechanics removed. Combat is nerfed almost completely, like they don't want you to have fun. Or try different approaches at all. Also janky as all hell in far too many places! With the initial bow training having a barrel *directly* in the way. Honestly the worst weapon/tool selection wheel I have ever used in VR (what the hell press this button, now move your thumb to thumb stick, move thumbstick to select, now hold down trigger? What the actual heck???). Pick up your bow from your shoulder with trigger... not grip??? A progression bug that wouldn't let me climb the wall until I restarted the game, and a lever that failed to call a lift happening to me multiple times while still on my first play through. Damn Guerrilla! Is that a ball on the floor? Saints and sinners - still top. Tentacular - oddly lots of fun Rez infinite - now far too easy with eye tracking. With whole patches where you wait for enemies to spawn because you can hit them too quickly. But lovely! The future? Behemoth and Hellsweeper on my radar for most anticipated! And RE 8 /thumper /before your eyes, demeo still yet to play!
