Haha, I was absolutely bricking it when I saw you two approaching! 😂 I very nearly decided to run straight on at the entrance to the chicane, purely so I could get out the way! But then hoped I had enough time to get through the chicane and pull over to the right while exiting to let you both by. Congrats on the win, fantastic battle at the front!

rFactor2 is great! Started with GT3 and I am downloading BTCC today.
Question. How much has RF2 set you back financially so far? It looks like a great sim, but 5 euro's per car is a tad much.

Cheers for calling me a legend lol probably 1st and last time I'll hear that 😅. Shame my race wasn't legendary though got punted hard lap1 at the chicane and there was massive carnage that followed it. The joys of poor qualification and people not knowing how to brake. Great race again Dave! And love your LFM RF2 videos! Just have a short question. Did you solve the issue with the low engine sound in the Openwheelers.. I can almost not hear my own car when I am next to someone else… does not seem to be able to fix it with one of the sound sliders…. Maybe a bug?

Filling the first no-F1 weekend with this race and kept it exciting. Way to go lapped racers respecting the blue.
I always chuckle every time your spotter says "you have a tiny bit of damage" every race start and you respond the same way, What! For me every start my HUD just flips out and cycles though and changing things then stops haha Rfactor2 has some strange bugs but I still love it
I think that's a crew chief thing. You can disable it in the crew chief options 😁

this track is really fantastic, loved it already on iRacing, good that the lfm guys put in shedule. However... I currently have the feeling that the number of players in rFactor2 at lfm is rapidly decreasing again. :(

Are you required to have access to ACC to validate a license for LFM? From what I read on their site it seems like that is the case and while I do own ACC it is unfortunately not on PC and it also wouldn't run on my current system. Rfactor 2 however runs splendedly. I looked at how to get a license to be able to participate and all their site says is that you need to do a hotstint on one of their license servers and get a time not exceeding 107% of the set time. Is there a way to get a license validated without having ACC or are you just sort of out of luck if you don't have or can't run that particular game?
Thanks in advance to any answers for this because I really would like to just drop my iRacing subscription currently... and I haven't liked racing in any of RRRE's ranked servers lately either because the only ones that are populated are the rookie ones that are full of people barging each other off the track.

At the moment I'm not sure you have to validate the licence to race on RF2. I could be wrong though somhopefully someone else will know for sure 👍

The Dubs can poor in now that you popped that cherry. For some reason my gpu usage is super low on rfactor 2, but still holding good framerate. Gives me big stutters though. Any ideas?
Try turning on low latency mode in the Nvidia control panel (graphics options). Worked for me 👍
@@davecamm changing where replays are saved and turning off gsync also helped. Love this sim, but need an IT degree to work it 🤓

I like what I've seen of the racing on RF2, but it doesn't seem like there are enough people playing. 3rd is +14 secs with 5th +33 within 20 mins. Feels a bit empty. If it was more popular I'd definitely give it a go.

What is going on with participation at RF2 LFM this week? If you look at the lobbies for this series or GTE/LMP2, there are not even enough drivers for one split, much less multiple splits.
Is this just a fluke or is the writing on the wall? I've been avoiding iRacing for years, but I don't know where else to go, even though I already bought a bunch of RF2 DLC.
Raceroom is fun, but I'm not dedicating time to only race the same free cars and tracks over and over and over, which seems to be the case here with the Tatuus and Alpina Rookie series.
I've not been on this week, but looking at the tracks they're not the best tbh. Hopefully better next week 🤞

For something similar but with Group C, GT1, various Prototypes, is iRacing really the only choice?

I think sometimes your race is affected by the amount of distraction you allow the following drivers to become. Just race your race, and make them race against you, not you against them
