Le Mans is also great with the classic 1970's formulas too. I tried the "Parmalat" one with the big rear circular fan - excellent drive . They love it when you can open the throttle , and LeMans makes for great racing . It's incredible how AMS 2 has evolved over the last 3yrs .
Hm.. you don't find that your hands are blocking your view too much? Also, I think more camera shake would be welcome in a visual format like this, for more realism.
AMS2 IS AMAZING- the only downside is its multiplayer community and the much need addition of a career mode, which hopefully we get. Aside from that, i love everything about it
It's too bad the old Mulsanne track isn't included. I put about 700 hours into mastering that track in a Sauber C9 in Project Cars 2, but AMS 2 has better physics and smoother graphics.
Well, to say "empty" I think it's not a fair statement. If by "empty" you mean public lobbies, yes I agree. And that's because the PCARS2 engine is anti-online racing, so to speak. It's a piece of garbage and Reiza really needs to invest a lot of money and time to improve, maybe even re-code this - which honestly I think they won't. But there are a lot of private leagues going on. I dunno how it is in other countries, but here in Brazil we have many leagues for both beginners and experienced players. And it's a better experience than public lobbies in my opinion. Now, just because a game does not have a strong online mode that doesn't mean it's a bad game. Remember, Bomberman, which is the genesis of every battle royale game, never had an online mode until very recently. And still we loved it. AMS2 has a horrible online experience, but it's an awesome single player experience. And that's why everybody is talking so much good about it. Because it is a great game, DESPITE not having a proper online mode. To be honest, I don't expect AMS2 to ever have a great online experience. And I'm fine with that.
I have iRacing for online but hardly ever use it. The AMS AI is good enough now to be a decent challenge to me. The only time I use iRacing is when I want to use my local track (Mid-Ohio) and/or Lime Rock, and even then I race against AI.
@@RV6Pilot and me, I only do multiplayer. Offline is only for doing setups and nothing more. I hate AI, no matter what kind, they all suck in some ways.
That's what I think too: www.racedepartment.com/news/why-automobilista-2-needs-better-multiplayer-features-fast.1653/?page=2#ams-comment-73336 However, ATM for me, it is also the best single player sim out there.
Are these mods or is it actually obtainable in the game. Be cause i want to transition from playstation to pc. And it would be better for me since i ll start a irl racing career and i ll have to practice
Going by this videos title, Timo obviously went for a "Drivers Eye Mixed Reality" demonstration and not VR. This method is good for getting a good first person perspective for both real and sim racers, and also shows what it's like to race using a setup like Timo's! If you want to watch VR then maybe go watch VR videos.

great video. love the steering wheel

Try the Group C too. Drive the Mercedes C9 and become Schumacher for a day.

It is beautiful in a Varjo Aero. With the improvements to AI drivers this sim is a blast now.

Don't worry, that will come in a future update (DLC)
I tried the GT3 GEN and gen2, and GT4 GTE, the handling and physics are so weird. Why? They are just totally different from LMDH and other LMP cars
Because they are a complete different tipe of car
What wheel is that?
Cube Controls CSX-3
So why there is almost no one online? Everybody is talking so much good about it, but multiplayer is practically empty!

@@renangoncalvesflores ok, thx for the answer. So its more like a single player game, because of the PC2 engine, got it.
@@MitjaBonca yes, unfortunately. If multiplayer is your thing stay away from AMS2. It will never be a proper online racing game.

This is the new update and new DLC. Obtainable for all.
So weird. I work with a guy called Timo Dick, and he sounds just like you :O
What a coincidence.
Racecraft online
Why would we think this is real?
Well, because part of it is. The physical gear, me, and the driving for instance. 🙂
@@TimoDick but you can clearly see the screen, there is no merge between virtual and physical. Different lighting and exposures
