Im so glad i got amd 5500xt last year luckily and did not wait for 6500xt.
Man dats not even a comparison, Rx 5500xt is a pretty good card....this card is designed for just gamers who wants somthing acceptable n most importantly affordable to play their games 1080p in times of these GPU price crisis. You cant expect much from it cos its cheap specially in these times !!! Having said that , if u can run on Pcie 4.0 it can perform on the level of 1650 super trust me ive tested, and even very close to1660 in some games !!! Were u actually trying to wait for this card anyway, jst curious ??? No offence.

@@ashutoshgupta9410 k, thanks, i didnt know dat, i am more of an nvidia and Intel user (but I hv nothing against Ryzen or Amd radeon) infact im seriously considering switching to Ryzen and Amd Radeon Gpu.I jst wanna wait alil more time for the 6700xt or maybe even Rx6900 price to drop alil more. I do have a laptop with Ryzen7 with Rtx 3060 but my Pc is Intel and Rtx.
But to our original point, i thought people were jst pissed n bashed 6500xt becos of the less bits and maybe the 4gb vram only and the no video encoder etc....

I'll buy 1650 which will give 30% more performance than 6500xt. It's dumbest GPU amd launched in the history. Even 5 year old Rx 590, 5500xt is 30 - 40% better than 6500xt. pci 3.0 gives performance like 1080ti. And it's being sold at 25k+. That is freaking insane , atleast give this dumb GPU at MSRP

Doesnt matters.. PCIe gen4 x4 is the bottleneck. Memory doesnt matters if the interface is bottleneck.
No, The memory bus and the PCIe interface is the real bottleneck. With that 64 bit bus that memory has a measly bandwidth of 148 GB/s which is slower than a GTX 280 from 2008. And that x4 PCIe link gives it bandwidth comparable to PCIe Gen 1 x16 so if you pair it with an older gen 3 system it would struggle a lot when the textures are being swapped beacuse that very narrow memory bus and that fully saturated PCIe link sh.

This 6500xt is the WORST GPU to buy even at MSRP.
Trust me!
-it priced at 200$ MSRP, which is the worst value, bcoz it performs worst than a 1650 super (it launched at 160$)
-if you put this 6500xt card in a PCIe 3.0 slot motherboard, it will perform as worst as a Gtx 1050.
-it performs to its full potential only if you install this GPU on a PCIe 4.0 compatible motherboard (Most people still use PCIe 3.0 mobos)
-it can't encode videos (Biggest disadvantage)

I got RX 580 at 14k in 2019. Now my gpu price is over 30k lol. And my gpu performs better than this or sometimes same lol. My gpu trades blows with 2022 gpu. I can get those sweet sweet textures without any worries as I have 8gb vram😎. And I got that at 14k in 2019.

If you're lucky and can get a gpu at a good price, 3060ti would be great. 3050 is a good option too. Both paired with a 12400f would be a beast.
You can actually get 1080p 60fps on 4core cpu with original and and fx resolution high on God of war (only for pcie 4.0)

i will still consider buying this card if and only if I get this card at MSRP my reasons are as as follows
1.)if I get this card for around 18 to 19k which is said to be it MSRP then I am happy to buy it
2.)now if I compare this card to other cards at this price point I get a GTX 1050 ti and one thing I know that rx 6500xt out performs 1050ti now people will come here and bark you are comparing this card with a very old card so ruko bhai sabar Karo age comment padho
2.)now here comes the point where where we all are teasing/cussing this card for the BANDWIDTH LIMITATIONS
i know this card comes with pcie 4.0 x 4
and if we pair it with pcie 3.0 x 4 then we have a performance dip and yes the performance dip between these 2 bandwidth is around 20 - 30 percent for most of the games and yes I have seen almost every bc benchmarks by the big youtubers hardware unboxed ,gamer nexus, Zach tech turf ,for more than 20 games and I have seen that for pcie 4.0 lane the card performs good say around GTX 1650super and some times beats it and for pcie 3.0 lane it performs nearly to GTX 1650 non super or rarely below it but the difference is say around 2-6 fps so here is a win win situation because other the cards today cost more than rx6500 XT MSRP which is say 18-19k and GTX 1650 is around 24-25k and 1650 super is around 30k today's pricing. yes I am assuming that the rx 6500 XT which I am getting is at 18-19k
3.)I just want a card which performs good at 1080p for latest titles , a card which is new, a card with low power consumption, a card which gives almost more that 50 to 60fps for medium to high settings for newer titles that came after 2020 all this thing under 20k rupees not a single rupee more than that because currently my old 1050ti is dead and I don't have any GPU right now also I can't spend more than 20k.
4.) my advise for those who already have a GTX 1650,1650super,rx570,rx580,gtx1050ti and are using these cards for a long time and hoping for an upgrade for them I would say don't get rx6500xt wait for arc alchemist or if you can spent more just blindly go for rx 6600 it's a beast card .
5.) for those who are waiting for rtx 3050 I am sorry to say but will hardly find any rtx 3050 below 35k and if you are willing to pay that much amount better go for an rx 6600.
dude buy a 1060 3gb used card for around 13 k ,a used 1060 6gb used for around 19,better than this, 6500xt requires a pcie 4.0 motherboard for full performance wich doesnt make sense as people buying a budget card won't have that kind of a motherboard,my 1060 is heaven for me

@@ziggy2377 yes i personally can assure you that you won't be disappointed by the raw performance of this GPU if you are not into streaming and ur system is upto date with pcie 4.0 availability and all you want to do is gaming nor editing or streaming than its a perfect choice for you. Being that the 6700k is a PCIE 3.0 cpu, I would not recommend this card. It would be bottle necked by PCIE 3.0. This card is ok with a PCIE 4.0 CPU and system board.

1080p should not be less than 6GB VRAM with PCIe gen4 x16. And for 1440p 8GB VRAM and for 4K 12GB VRAM is the requirement. This card was initially developed for laptops by AMD but AMD saw the dry market in Desktop GPU segment. They had to answer for Nvidia RTX 3050 desktop. So they dropped this. It is made for laptops.
Just accept that amd gpu is bad

Buy RX6600 by saving up, here in Pakistan it is about the same Price as a GTX 1660Ti but with RTX 2070 performance.
