Yes…I loathed Pale Fire at first read. I went to the gym and exercised the right muscles, reread it and loved it. The story is open to interpretation and one can latch on to some wonderful prose along the way. What else would a reader want! Nabokov is laughing his ass off right now I imagine as he should…we will keep his flame 🔥 strong.💪🏼
