Walked into Coconut's in the mall as usual looking for new music when this first came out, ...was my Spring and Summer soundtrack 96, with some Jann Arden, ...rock and roll guitarist and this album gave me peace away from that world...still doing it. Thanks Amanda 🖤

This is one of the GREAT music videos...no fancy cuts or shots...just a phenomenal performer & musician performing a wonderful song. As a theatre director, I would love to put her in a musical version of Shakespeare's "Taming of The Shrew" as Kate...what a magnificent performance she could give...Amanda Marshall is truly one of Canada's gifts to the Arts!!!

If you've never seen Amanda Marshall in Concert, make it your mission. I use to listen to her on the radio in our family business after school in the 90's and finally saw her live in 2012. Still so beautiful, so sweet. She sounds EXACTLY the same in person as she does on her records :)

This is one of the GREAT music videos...no fancy cuts or shots...just a phenomenal performer & musician performing a wonderful song. As a theatre director, I would love to put her in a musical version of Shakespeare's "Taming of The Shrew" as Kate...what a magnificent performance she could give...Amanda Marshall is truly one of Canada's gifts to the Arts!!!

Wow. I forgot just how powerful this song is. I somehow heard her on the radio in college and bought this Cd. I loved it then and the cd is in a box somewhere. I’m going to download the album right now. That bridge right before the chorus is so moving and emotional. The bass playing of Lee Sklar is perfection.
A Canadian friend turned me onto her, had forgotten how great her music is-truly underrated!
