I just came across you guys. My husband and I wanted to try this move. We saw it on another video. I am so happy with the step by step instructions. I will be following you guys. We are Blake and Stephanie from Grapevine, Tx. ❤
I have learned so much from you and love your videos. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
You’re the best teachers! Thank you!
You make it look so smooth❤😊
Thank you. ❤️❤️🤠❤️❤️
Fantastic video. Love to see what is possible in WCS. Your videos have got me out on the floor to dance in the wild with more confidence. Love all of your videos though the loud background music is competing with your vocal instructions. I wish I could turn it down so I can focus on your fabulous content. Other than that, I try to watch as many as I can for all styles you offer. Would love a class in PNW for 2023 🎉
Thank you!
Love it!
Are you guys doing any more traveling workshops anytime soon?
Glad you enjoyed it! We plan to take the next few months to stay put and enjoy the holidays with family... but will be traveling a bit again in the spring :-)
When do you come to Dallas area
where are you guys located? HEB/Texas?
HEB?
We’re in the Houston area.
West coast swing is the ultimate in pompous ass-ery. First, it doesn't swing, and second, the dance doesn't follow the beat in any way. It may be somewhat regimented, but in general, it's people just moving on the floor with respect to nothing. Compare with Salsa, Hustle, Cha-cha, real swing (single and triple), waltz, two-step, one-step, etc, these all follow the music. If a dance doesn't follow the music, is it really a dance? yes... sort of, like ballet or tribal, it exists but not for entertainment purposes and not for people to go out and do and enjoy, for what then, art maybe? It doesn't satisfy the intrinsic desire to follow a beat, to sync with other people. It's chaos.
Woah. It sounds like you have a bit to learn about west coast swing.
@@countrydancex Well, 3 dance instructors couldn't prove me wrong. So it's quite possible, but not likely.
@@AllenKll if so many have tried and failed then it must be the student, or rather the student's attitude?
@@damienlucifer5 MAYBE?, it is possible that it is me or my attitude, but I have seen no evidence to support that. I have a very open mind to new information, and I admit when I am wrong. But when experts can't show proof... maybe the hypothesis is wrong. Simple scientific method.
@@AllenKll 😂 I don't know you so I can't comment on your ability to interpret music and dance. However I do know west coast swing and it is one of the most versatile and musical dance there is. Any dance style can be incorporated into it.
