Or you can use dry ice which is much cheaper, lasts longer than water ice, and it doesn't make everything all soggy because it doesn't create liquid, when the dry ice melts it just evaporates. You can also get dry ice at pretty much any local grocery store.
Dry ice is good, but If you can afford it, the fridge/freezer is far superior. I was able to bring 7 quarts of ice cream back for my fiance when we visited her home town (over 600 miles away) and I still had room for more! The ice cream made it back in perfectly frozen condition. Yes, you could theoretically do it with dry ice, but dry ice excels when you leave the container shut from point A to point B. Every time you open the container the gas escapes. With the fridge/freezer you can open it up along the way if you need or want to do so!
LOL WE KEEP A WHAT? 2:43
We keep a cun.... 🙊😈
your channel is turning me into a Jeep guy. Thank you
Bruh, I bought my first Jeep about a year ago and I've loved every second of it. It's still mostly stock but man, it has been so much better than my truck was. Jeep life is where it's at my dude✌
I'm shocked that those door step things weren't on here, like the ones that bolt onto the door so you can get at the roof rack a bit better.
There are some roof racks that have steps built into the rear support to help you get up to the top much more efficiently.
Door steps things 😂 they are door steps an amazing if u need them. Stupid easy install an can open ice cold 😉 Pepsi 😉 on them. They are bout 100 dollars for 2 an more than worth it
As someone with a CJ7 I love seeing 1987+ Wrangler
Being serious: Need a 5000 btu a/c slot for RTT. Most ground tents now have a/c slots. Camping has become more glamping and with "quiet" generators, many people bring window a/c's. I live in south mississippi (85 degs night in summertime) and wont be buying an RTT anytime soon unless it has an a/c slot. That way, i can get a full 12 months a year use vs just 4 months. And if im paying over $1k -3k on a canvas covered mattress, it better have a spot to put an a/c if I so well choose.
awesome video bros, really well done. ryan seems like a genuine and likable dude. definitely gonna pick up every single one of these items once i get my new JKU rubicon next month.
instablaster
a good use, soft wrangler roof............. tent rise so you could stand in wrangler bed................ seats fold down flat, for beds .
My favorite place for all my jeep accessories. Keep it up
To be honest,Dan doesn't look comfortable at all..
Great video though..
Greetings from Yemen
Great video. I am currently looking into buying a roof top tent to install on either my Jeep YJ or on my offroad sleeper camper trailer. So far the *AirTop* by Autohome is at the top of my list but that Smittybilt isn't far behind.
I went with the TuffStuff 4X4 RTT with attachable annex. Im very happy with it.
Have you bought it yet? Think, Look at the profile. It does not exactly hug the ground, dose it. Hmm. Might be ok in a valley, but not where the wind might act up. Lol. Been there.
These guys have some awesome mods
Great video. Super job showing these awesome amenities. ~Smile!
Hey extreme terrain love the vids. Love from black 2017 jku in Ct
2018 jeep fest in toledo ohio home of the original willys jeep and jeep wrangler.. Its a 3 day event hope to see all you jeep lovers there
Great list man , really helpful!
Very good and informative video.
Is there a benefit to putting the RTT towards the front. I’m in the market and want to place it properly.
You show the teraflex table but link to the smittybilt
Great information! Very useful.
Dometic fridge is better. iKamper is a FAR better rooftop tent.
I own the Smitty bilt RTT and the ARB fridge. They are both great for overlanding or just car camping! The RTT is super comfortable and easy to set up. I have the awning as well... I could live without it. It's nice for a changing room, but the design is poor (door behind the ladder) - the ARB is for real though. Expensive but worth it
I know this video was last summer, but I really hope someone is still paying attention to it. I see all these Jeeps with Safari racks on them and the majority are rated per their manufacturer as 300lbs, but the ones with tents have to be going over that rating as the tents are 150lbs. So who is full of it, the manufacturer or are those people who are putting tents and gear on top risking busting their racks?
You are aware there’s a difference between dynamic weight and static weight right? The 300 pound rating is a dynamic weight weighting.
bears climb ladders. midnight pee, difficult
I like how everything can be "upgraded" like seriously the straps for the cooler were just tooooo much to include with the over priced ass cooler, and the fucking table gets a cutting board upgrade lol i mean come on its like they're trying their best to squeeze every dollar out of you.
Shoot. Half of this I can use for tailgating.
I want it all
great video again
2:20 ... “ A very small amount of power” please tell us how many amps it takes.
Average DC power consumption for ARBs fridge/freezer comes out to about 0.7 to 2.3 amp per hour. -Zach
I am sooo ready for football!
I thought the rooftop tents were awesome until I saw the price. Fuck that shit
Am i blind or is that outlet only on the Saharas or Rubicons? I have a sport s and can't find it
It wasn't standard equipment on all models, there's a good chance that it was only for Rubicons and Saharas. Sorry! -Zach
Does the Roof tent have a wind rating?
ARB OMAN
What kind of roof rack do you have on the jeep
You guys forgot to talk about the Jeep's tow rating. This video is about Overland Camping, right?
word slip... 2:42 lol
Any recommendations for a good roof rack for a 2018 2 door rubicon jl.. i want to get the tent but i dont have a roof rack..thanks
gab zilla rhino rack
I was about to ask if we needed the rack bc I would need to get one as well :/ lol
All you guys commenting on how expensive these things are and how pointless these things are probably don't own a jeep or never have been on a long camping trip.
fuck that is super cool
Cutting board mod is ridiculous. Take an ordinary cutting board and use it on the hood or seat. Totally silly.
can be said for most mods.....
Lol and get shit all in your seats
GizmoBee1702 that's why it's like a 15 dollar feature
Who makes the roof rack on this jeep?
Mike Bard looks like the Smitty built SRC roof rack.
Ola
Is it possible to remove the tent after camping or its better to keep it on?
You can absolutely take it off after camping! It would be up to your own preference on whether or not to take it off. However I personally would take it off after camping just so it isn't in the elements when it doesn't need to be. Also so that someone doesn't run up on your Jeep and steal the tent. -Jake
With most rooftop tents, they'd need a full crew to get that thing off!
In my case I'd have to take it off or I wouldn't be able to get the Jeep in the garage. And then where would you store the tent? I think I'll stick with the much cheaper tried and true ground tent.
True
Which rack system was the tent mounted onto? Thank you!
It appears to be the Barricade Roof Rack. I have mine mounted on a Kargo Master Congo Cage sport, which I really like.
259Den3 thank you!
way to hit up the overlanding gear, options, and accessories! IG:jonnybgood
$800 for a portable freezer. I really like Extreme Terrain but come on guys your prices are ridiculous.
I dont even own a jeep i wish i did but i dont lol
Since I Have A Dog
I Am Going To Customize A Jeep & Buy The Patriot X1
This video comes across like a entire ad spot. I get it, but geez...
You made trade with me for 20 camels for you jeep?
🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘
More of a commercial.
ARB Cooler is a rip off,,,,,you can get better for half the price.
Нихуя не понял , но очень интересно
How come you can't show people who have a real jeep which is a TWO DOOR jeep. You keep showing things that you need a 4×4 bus for. No body knows how to make things work without a bus or truck to haul all that crap around?
BOring
Literally all useless waste of money..
Nothing but one long commercial....unsubscribe!
We have access to the accessories that we sell, so why not showcase them instead of showing off items we don't stock? -Zach
