Happy holidays and Merry Christmas as we enter the new year. I hope you all get lots of new model kit presents under the Christmas tree 🎄🎁. Thank you for watching and let me know what you think of the video. Happy Modeling👍😁
Looks great! If I were you, I would “advertise” the fact that you brush paint your models, you would get a lot more support, if people knew you achieve such good results with a brush, they would want to watch you over others.
I watched this just now. I do admire your brush print job, it gives me much confidence to finish this tank sometime soon. I do have kit in my stash. Thanks a lot.
Amazing. I almost gave up model making as I really couldn't justify buying an airbrush. You have such a talented way of painting and are in my opinion up in the top 5 model makers on here.
You do one of the best painting with just brush. I like using brush and not air brush. Your videos are very helpful for me. Thank you for sharing your talents.
A good video, to see the way from the box to become a complete builded and painted JS-7. A good work with this model. Especially in the small scale. Great JS-7 with good weathering. I wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2021. Greetings, Joachim
That’s brilliant, only built a few models during lockdown and hand painted them. Was going to get a airbrush but this has changed my mind. Outstanding detail. 👍
Hi. I have half finished my IS 7. I therefore viewed this vlog the second time trying to learn some new techniques from it. Thank you very much for I did learn something new lately.
Hey man, you got some really good builds and techniques, its like you shrunk the real thing! Going to start my first model kit, probably not good for beginners, but I think your techniques will help, V-22. Keep up the good work man!
I would like to get one or more of these kits to build for myself! I use tanks and military vehicles in this scale on my 1/87 scale model railroad, for display and flatcar loads! Great video! Happy NewYear 2022!
Great job on such a small scale. I liked the hand painted look on the white stripes. Were they for aircraft recognition? Really enjoyed the joke about the gulag!
If I understand you’re question correctly and please let me know if I’m wrong. I can recommend citadel, life color, Vallejo, Model Master, mr color/gunzig and Army painter. :-)
One question about the model is it possible to put the machinegun down or folded or stored however you want to say it, because I don't really like the way it looks with its machinegun raised? Also i love your model and i subscribed! Much love and I hope to see more models! Also this gives me hope to get my first model and get nice results with paintbrush.
I think the MG should be able to be folded down or stowed in any way you want to on the model. But not 100% sure.😅 Also thank you, I appreciate it. I’m really glad you liked the model.
Hi. I have finished my IS 7. I have another question, I mainly used Tamiya acrylic, can you please recommend the thinning ratio as I found the print didn't stick to the model satisfactory.
Agreed. Unless you want to spend two hours assembling metal/ plastic individual track pieces then it becomes tedious. But their quality is worth it in the end. :)
Hey, You never know. Maybe with enough confidence and effort, I think you’ll do better than me. Especially when my IS-7 is far from amazing. From my perspective at least. But nonetheless, good luck and have fun. :-)
A good wash in soapy water will also do, there may be some grease left from the moulding which you can wash away with water and soap or maybe even a bit of vinager
It truly is. For instance, when the Allies were surprised and terrified that the Soviet JS3/IS3 heavy tank was shown off in the Berlin victory parade. :)

How in the fuck can you paint that by hand, I’ve literally never even accomplished something so amazing with an airbrush, this looks amazing
Looks great! If I were you, I would “advertise” the fact that you brush paint your models, you would get a lot more support, if people knew you achieve such good results with a brush, they would want to watch you over others.
Your right I’ll be sure to title my videos with brush painted to stick out from others. Hope you had a great Christmas with lots of models.👍🎁🎄
I watched this just now. I do admire your brush print job, it gives me much confidence to finish this tank sometime soon. I do have kit in my stash. Thanks a lot.
Yeah, awesome work man!
dude this is so amazing! Your models have really improved over the past year!
Amazing. I almost gave up model making as I really couldn't justify buying an airbrush. You have such a talented way of painting and are in my opinion up in the top 5 model makers on here.
I’m flattered that you think I’m talented. Thank you for the compliment though. Much appreciated.
Don’t bother getting an airbrush. In my experience it will save you from a lot of grief. Anyone want to buy an airbrush? 😢
You do one of the best painting with just brush. I like using brush and not air brush. Your videos are very helpful for me. Thank you for sharing your talents.
Thank you again man. I appreciate it. This model is one of my favorites too and starting from lightest to darkest is an easy way to start painting.
A good video, to see the way from the box to become a complete builded and painted JS-7.
A good work with this model. Especially in the small scale. Great JS-7 with good weathering.

Thank you so much mein friend, I always appreciate your support. I wish you good health and a happy new year🎄🎁

What a great looking model and finish! Thanks for sharing this.
Hi. I have half finished my IS 7. I therefore viewed this vlog the second time trying to learn some new techniques from it. Thank you very much for I did learn something new lately.
I’m happy to know that I’ve helped you in painting your IS-7 model. Thank you. :)

Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words and I hope you’ll enjoy your first kit👍:D
@@Modkits131 Lol thank you, and I will!
Happy holidays to you to. Very refreshing to see someone skilled with a brush bringing a simple kit to life. Well done and Merry Christmas.
Thanks! You too :-D
I got this model for Christmas!
Nice that’s great👍
I'm getting it for easter. I'm very excited i love post war and late war tanks😄
I love the model!
Keep up the good work :D
Thank you I appreciate the support of my work👍
Fantastic work! Thank you for sharing.
Another awesome build. I really like the fact that these models are all brush painted.
I would like to get one or more of these kits to build for myself! I use tanks and military vehicles in this scale on my 1/87 scale model railroad, for display and flatcar loads! Great video! Happy NewYear 2022!
You sir are a master model builder.
Great job on such a small scale. I liked the hand painted look on the white stripes. Were they for aircraft recognition? Really enjoyed the joke about the gulag!
I’m glad you enjoyed the video and my model build. I always appreciate the support.👍
Sorry for the late answer, but yes the white stripes were for aircraft recognition.
Fantastic work. Great video. Greetings. Aleš 😉👍
Thank you very much. I’m glad you enjoyed it.👍😁
I love your channel. I wish I could be as good of a modeler as you man.
Thank you, I’m happy that your enjoying my channel and hopefully the models. :)
This is one of Your best plastic models you build so far
I'm just started making models and I'm already terrified and impressed
Impressive!
Excellent painting skills 👍
Great skills with brush! Amazing work 👍
PS Gulag joke was funny))
PPS Greetings from Russia ;-)
Haha. Thank you, I appreciate it and nice to hear that your watching from Russia. I personally think that’s amazing. :)
Beautiful!
Lol is that the WoT christmas music in the background
Nice model
Or should I change the Tamiya acrylic to sma choice of yours-- AV altogether?
If I understand you’re question correctly and please let me know if I’m wrong. I can recommend citadel, life color, Vallejo, Model Master, mr color/gunzig and Army painter. :-)
I am a bit confused though, when you paint the colour modulation on the turret, the previously painted green base colour disappears.
I ended up adding a lot more white to the base coat, to help build up the layers with ease. :)
@@Modkits131 Ah, that makes sense now

Hi. I have finished my IS 7. I have another question, I mainly used Tamiya acrylic, can you please recommend the thinning ratio as I found the print didn't stick to the model satisfactory.
I use this ratio: 2 to 3 drops water to 7 parts paint. :)
Nice video, God model 👍👌
I feel plastic tracks take about 5 to 15 minutes depending on how complicated and the size of the model is
Agreed. Unless you want to spend two hours assembling metal/ plastic individual track pieces then it becomes tedious. But their quality is worth it in the end. :)
What kind of of hand soap are u using for washs?
I’m using “Equate” hand soap from a pump. :)
I'm positive my armourfast T34 that I have chosen to start off with is going to look just as good as this. :P
Hey, You never know. Maybe with enough confidence and effort, I think you’ll do better than me. Especially when my IS-7 is far from amazing. From my perspective at least. But nonetheless, good luck and have fun. :-)
How do you make the paint have no brushstrokes?
Just by keeping my paints thinned down and smooth once I apply them on the model. A good ratio is 2 drops water to 7 drops of paint. :)
@@Modkits131 thanks so much for replying so quickly, i am new to the hobby so i really appreciate your help.
Hey no problem. I’m happy to help someone new to the hobby. :)
Cool. What happens if you don't apply primer and just painted it straight away? Will the paint easily come off?
Yes, the paint will becomes brittle as it doesn’t have the primer to grip onto. Even in several layers, especially since it’s water based acrylic. :)
A good wash in soapy water will also do, there may be some grease left from the moulding which you can wash away with water and soap or maybe even a bit of vinager
I just got this one very exited to begin, I think I will wait until the weekend to build it
A very fun, short and simple build. :)
Woww pro skills paint. I like this is vidio👍👍
Such a bad ass tank, could you imagine the American spy photograph seeing this tank they would’ve been like were screwed
It truly is. For instance, when the Allies were surprised and terrified that the Soviet JS3/IS3 heavy tank was shown off in the Berlin victory parade. :)
@@Modkits131 I just watched that video, talk about a show of force, barrels raised high, very impressive for the WW2 era
I will try the ratio as you said the next time.
Okay good luck. :)
this is cool
Paint with brush?
Yes :)
Big scale?
1/72 scale :)
No airbrush used....wow !!!!
