Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but a really really easy way to farm echoes is to play online, do the false depth search thing and enter cummmfpk. Light the lamp, walk into the room in front of you, and wait like 10 seconds. Just wait, don't do anything. Something in the room next to you will automatically be killed by an environmental hazard and you'll get like 83k echoes without equipping any runes. Then just use a bold hunter's mark and do it again.
just did this, my healthbar is gone? 😆 wtf Also didnt get any echoes.. walked into every room, got no echoes, only found 1 enemy, one shot me (considering my healthbar is almost zero)

@@Hamdaaniel hey, I did playthrough Elden Ring right after finishing Bloodborne. I’d say it’s “easier” only because the open world-ness of it allows you to come and go as you please if you do find something difficult. And having the base “soulsborne” knowledge after playing Bloodborne was a huge help. Both games are incredible.

The fastest blood echo farming BY FAR, is the chalice dungeon ppqzah27. 2 hunters to kill that gives 450k each when using Moon tier 3, Heir tier 2 and Heir tier 3. You sneak up on them one by one, use charged R2 attack, press R2 again, then R1. Just watch out so you don't get killed by the 2 aliens, since HP is so low you will get one shot.

No what happens is that when it tries to hug you it's trying to push its will on to you but when you consume all three of those chords you're able to overpower it so then it tries to kill you and then when you kill it you become an infant great one
Well Cowboy I need to give you a proper thanks. I picked this game up 2 years ago and gave up after Gascoigne. Idk why I decided to come back and hit up this guide but Im glad I did. Watching this guide despite having already platinumed the game last year. I wish I'd had this guide for the purposes of skipping through the chalice dungeons! That was by far the most tedious thing about trying to get the trophy.

Just platinumed the game...thanks Cowboy for the inspiration and information about the false depths. I found a glyph that all I had to do was beat two bosses to get to Queen Yharnam. Pthumerian descendant was tough...after around five tries I beat him, and then I read he is weak to arcane...
Your walkthroughs have saved me so much time. I know I’m two years late, but you could’ve just shown the cummmfpk dungeon. With all 3 moon runes on I’m pulling 143,000 blood echoes every like 20 seconds
Bro you tips have been of tremendous help because of the runes you suggested i basically first tried gehrman dealing him a damage of 3000 with every visceral. You are a true genius and keep going cowboy.
I know this comment comes late but sometimes what you have in your cloud is not what you actually have saved locally. I'd recommend to check what's saved there, if there's a way to do it. Always upload your local save to the cloud and make sure it went well. After that, turn your auto-upload off. you don't wanna have that save overwritten. Do the first ending, then download the cloud save back, so you end up where your started before the first ending. There's a lot of people that were sent back to the middle/beginning of the game for some reason. I'm trying to understand why that happened. I'd like to thank Cowboy for his effort in showing us the ways of the hunters in this thorough walkthrough, but I think he moved on and is not answering more cries for help.

@@patflann29 I seem to remember having the same issue. It was fixed by completing the first chalice dungeon - its in one of FightinCowboy's videos (sorry I can't recall which one exactly). Once you do the initial chalice dungeon, that code will work,
For anyone who is stuck offline and isn't super familiar with how Chalice Dungeons work, you can get to the second level of the Ailing Loran chalice without using the glyph he mentions. You'll need to do several shared, fixed chalice dungeons in order to get the materials you need, but it can be done. The save-edit dungeon just lets you skip straight to the one you need. If you aren't looking to get your platinum, and don't particularly want a fist weapon that transforms your off-hand into a werewolf arm, don't worry about grabbing the Beast Claw.
I high key found him very easy. He just hits like a truck. If you can get in even 2 or 3 parries in the first half of the fight, you're golden. The thing is, Holy Blade with bolt paper has insane stagger damage and you can potentially stun lock him and finish your combos. In his other half (rather the whole fight) keep your distance since he walks slow. Let him come close. Dodge whatever he throws at you and then get in your combos without getting too greedy. I can down him in under 2 mins

Gehrman fight was really underwhelming, I beat him first attempt and the second time round it only took me 2. Hoping the moon presence will be more challenging.
gehrman kicked my ass more then any boss outside of chalices (which is just a bunch of broken bosses) including OoK which I beat first try, his wind ups confuse me a ton
Cheers for the guides Cowboy. On the Gehrman fight I used the Cainhurst armour, Blade of Mercy, and just hit Augur as soon as he got near me. Made the fight ridiculously easy each time.

for anyone struggling with that beast-possessed soul fight, if you can avoid the first swing on the three swing combo the second and third swing are a night and day difference as far as being able to parry them.
I was having an issue loading the saves but I believe I found the solution. The game wouldn’t let me load the save due to an issues with it not finding the DLC. I’m on PS4 so no clue if it’s the same on PS5. THE FILE ISN’T CORRUPTED (don’t panic like I did lol) -if the game keeps saying it can’t load the save because the DLC isn’t installed, simply restart your PS4. That should fix it but if not… -go to the account management tab in the settings and you’ll see an option that will say “restore licenses” do that process and see if that fixes it. Maybe try a combination of the two if one doesn’t work. I also uninstalled/reinstalled the game at first which also helped but that can take a very long time. The methods above are quicker and also seem to work.
The tier 3 Clockwise and Anticlockwise Metamorphosis Runes are really nice to use as well. If you use the tier 3 Anticlockwise you get 20% Stamina, and if you stack Tier 2 and 3 Clockwise you get a total Increase of 25% Health. It's a good combo to use as an all around set up, especially with the Hunter Covenant Rune.
I know its kinda late but i found a strat for Gerhman, well i consider it a strat in my opinion When he two-hands the scythe its the perfect moment for parrying since they have a more open window and are more predictable, while he does the explosion, immediatly run to him and get maximum 2 hits and run off immediatly If you feel like its too late, dont risk it When he puts the scythe in one hand and the gun Dont try to parry, his attacks are less deadlier but more faster Instead try dashing through them and get maximum 2 hits on him, on phase one you can kinda stagger-lock him, he can still dash away but his attacks gets cancelled so use that to your advantage With the wind attack i found out that the best way to avoid it is to move back, move away from gerhman to avoid it, well at least that worked for me Anyways, i hope this worked for you, good luck hoontah :)
Took myself down to memory lane when the first walkthrough started i feel like a boss with these cool as weapons especially the scythe and holy blade and understanding the fortification weapons and visceral attacks and all these types of details it's been awesome and ready to do the DLC next. After doing all these walkthroughs im ready to play sekiro next the one game Ive always been trying to beat but couldn't. 😂
Huge FromSoft fan, Bloodborne is epic. But at times I just didn’t know where to go next and it wasn’t cool. So I was forced to look up a guide. I didn’t have this issue with any of the Souls games just Bloodborne. Like how the hell am I to know to go back to an area I had already cleared, ride an elevator down to pitch darkness, use an emote to hug a creature with a giant eyeball for a full minute , then kill creature for an item ? Loved every minute of Bloodborne, didn’t love having to look up where to go next. But thanks for being that guy to show me where to go. I get the cryptic hints are part of the charm I do , but damn. 😂

A lot of people say Bloodborne is harder than Sekiro but I beat Bloodborne’s final boss on the first try and Sekiro’s final boss took me about 6 hours. Once you understand how to play this games isn’t that tough tbh. Fun game though!

I know this will probably never be read as this was uploaded ages ago, but I have a gripe w you Mr. Cowboy! I have been a life long xbox guy and after watching many of ur walkthroughs of souls games, I decided to buy a ps5 to play Bloodborne. Ur vids are fantastic and u and I typically have similar views on games, playstyles, builds etc. However, following ur advice on this vid, lead to me getting the old hunters badge immediately following the 1st kill of gerhman, thus kicking me into ng+ BEFORE I got to finish the dlc, orphan, or the moon presence! If u have any idea how, I'd love to know why it happened then, instead of after kill number 2...I'd love ur input n keep up the awesome work!
Can't platinum the game because that one hunter you have to help at the father boss fight area died without me knowing so it gives me more of a reason to do it on 2 more builds. Thanks to your walkthrough I know exactly what to do now my second time around!

Dude I did the thing before garmin with the saved and I’ve lost so much of my progress 😅 I don’t even know where it’s put my back to it’s gut wrenching
If you are struggling with Geherman, farm up some runes to raise you stats in particular your health. Got mine to 45. Also put 4 extra points in to stamina. Makes a huge difference if you are struggling to parry. Killed him first time on both kills by doing this. The extra stamina allowed me to slam R1 more when I got on top of him.
Not to brag but I beat Gehrman with no problem at all. When he raises his scythe behind his back wait a second then shoot him for a visceral. He flies about you and does crazy damage but if you can keep pressure on him with the sword (not in trick mode) and the empty phantasm shell active, you’ll get some good hits in. Also when he stands still and does that AOE attack, you can get at most three heavy hits in before you have to back up. And don’t waste your QS Bullets, there are a few moments where you can get a parry since his attacks are easily telegraphed
did i miss something? why is he using that headstone now instead of the original one we used in the walkthrough? do i have to remove the chalice and switch it to that headstone now? im just confused. this is demoralizing making it this far and now something is completely different in the game but ive literally done everything step by step.
6:49 you can use the heir ruin in the dlc and fight living failure and the 2 final hit must be a visceral attack within 5 seconds and you will get a ton of blood echo

Welp did something wrong when I was trying to upload my saved data I was level 140 and it brought me all the way back to when I was level 70 overall great walkthrough unfortunately I don’t feel like replaying the game just a heads up to anyone following this make sure you don’t lose all your data when you back up your game 😂
The beast dude in the false depth is super easy if you have the auger, get behind him auger for a Stagger, visceral, rinse and repeat, you can auger him before he gets up to the cycle is perpetual.
For anyone watching this walkthrough nowadays, if you don’t care about exploiting things a little there is a method for echo farming that is entirely risk-free, minimal time investment and maximum reward. If you have PS Plus make sure you’re playing the game logged in and use glyph code cummmfpk This will put you into a challenge dungeon where if you take a few steps forward, you will notice some poor soul taking damage from something on the other side of the wall. Watch the health bar drain and wait for them to die. Once they’ve kicked the bucket you will be rewarded with a princely 80k blood echos (approximately) just for standing and watching them die. Use a bold hunter’s mark to and run forward again to repeat. If you equip all your moon runes you can semi afk farm till your hearts content. I have placed this here as an alternative method. Be forewarned though that it has likely been created using save editing and can easily be seen as “cheating” your way to max echos. If that doesn’t sit well with you then use the method denoted in this excellent walkthrough. If you do not care have you earn your echos then this is absolutely the fastest method.
For new people with save states, TURN OFF AUTO SYNC! I did not and whenever your ps5 goes into rest mode it will save your game where you last ended… Fml I worked so hard for the platinum and it ended that way 😢
If anyone is watching these videos now there is a chalice dungeon that is extremely better than this farming run. Just search for “cummmfk” and walk out the door and wait for an enemy to die offscreen. You will get around 80,000 blood echoes for doing nothing. With all three moon runes for high blood echoes, I’m getting around 140,000 for doing nothing. I still love the walkthroughs though so amazing job.
The first time I played bloodborne I could not beat gehrman. Years later, played again, Gehrman was no problem. It’s all about the viscerals which are surprisingly easy to get with him.
I was going to do the saved data thing and I accidentally deleted all of my progress for today and I have been following this whole walkthrough for about 8 hours so that kind of sucks. I am new to playstation though so its sorta my fault, however I love your walkthroughs cowboy and I honestly dont mind going back to episode 14 and redoing everything cause honestly your walkthroughs make my experience of the game so much more enjoyable and they are very helpful for the plat so thank you, just maybe if you are going to do a save data manipulation please be a lot more thorough on where to click and stuff ❤
If you can v. Attack two of the boars within 5 secs you get your rune boosts twice it to seperate equations making your runes incredibly high might help with the farming
I wasn’t paying attention to your instructions and I ended up defeating the moon presence after gherman. Do I need to copy the saved data to the console again and fight gherman once more then quit before fighting the moon presence in order to continue with your walkthrough or can I continue following along in new game plus?

Pthumerian descendant was tough...after around five tries I beat him, and then I read he is weak to arcane...

Your walkthroughs have saved me so much time. I know I’m two years late, but you could’ve just shown the cummmfpk dungeon. With all 3 moon runes on I’m pulling 143,000 blood echoes every like 20 seconds
The farm advice alone is worth the price of admission.
Bro you tips have been of tremendous help because of the runes you suggested i basically first tried gehrman dealing him a damage of 3000 with every visceral. You are a true genius and keep going cowboy.
I know this comment comes late but sometimes what you have in your cloud is not what you actually have saved locally. I'd recommend to check what's saved there, if there's a way to do it. Always upload your local save to the cloud and make sure it went well. After that, turn your auto-upload off. you don't wanna have that save overwritten. Do the first ending, then download the cloud save back, so you end up where your started before the first ending. There's a lot of people that were sent back to the middle/beginning of the game for some reason. I'm trying to understand why that happened.

@@patflann29 I seem to remember having the same issue. It was fixed by completing the first chalice dungeon - its in one of FightinCowboy's videos (sorry I can't recall which one exactly). Once you do the initial chalice dungeon, that code will work,

Thanks, cowboy! I finished the game using your walkthrough when it was launched on PS4. I had to revisit it for my PS5 playthrough.
For anyone who is stuck offline and isn't super familiar with how Chalice Dungeons work, you can get to the second level of the Ailing Loran chalice without using the glyph he mentions. You'll need to do several shared, fixed chalice dungeons in order to get the materials you need, but it can be done. The save-edit dungeon just lets you skip straight to the one you need. If you aren't looking to get your platinum, and don't particularly want a fist weapon that transforms your off-hand into a werewolf arm, don't worry about grabbing the Beast Claw.
My Doll was awake in both play throughs. Told me that Gehrman was waiting for me. Never found her sleep after beating Mergos wet nurse

I nearly shit myself when cowboy said "..Now this time when you fight Gehrman" (right after spending an hour trying to beat him solo).
I high key found him very easy. He just hits like a truck.
If you can get in even 2 or 3 parries in the first half of the fight, you're golden.
The thing is, Holy Blade with bolt paper has insane stagger damage and you can potentially stun lock him and finish your combos.
In his other half (rather the whole fight) keep your distance since he walks slow. Let him come close. Dodge whatever he throws at you and then get in your combos without getting too greedy. I can down him in under 2 mins
Just got the Bloodborne platinum to go with my Elden Ring & Dark Souls 1 plats. You are the best in the business at this - keep up the great work sir, you are legendary!
Finally completed the main game video. I'm guessing the reason I don't have the platinum yet (I'm missing two trophies minus the platinum) is cos of the chalice and the alien boss fight.

Gehrman fight was really underwhelming, I beat him first attempt and the second time round it only took me 2. Hoping the moon presence will be more challenging.
gehrman kicked my ass more then any boss outside of chalices (which is just a bunch of broken bosses) including OoK which I beat first try, his wind ups confuse me a ton
just fought him for the first time and i felt the same ,
beat him on his first try cuz his parry was too easy to figure out

On the Gehrman fight I used the Cainhurst armour, Blade of Mercy, and just hit Augur as soon as he got near me. Made the fight ridiculously easy each time.

for anyone struggling with that beast-possessed soul fight, if you can avoid the first swing on the three swing combo the second and third swing are a night and day difference as far as being able to parry them.
I was having an issue loading the saves but I believe I found the solution. The game wouldn’t let me load the save due to an issues with it not finding the DLC.
I’m on PS4 so no clue if it’s the same on PS5.
THE FILE ISN’T CORRUPTED (don’t panic like I did lol)
-if the game keeps saying it can’t load the save because the DLC isn’t installed, simply restart your PS4. That should fix it but if not…
-go to the account management tab in the settings and you’ll see an option that will say “restore licenses” do that process and see if that fixes it.
Maybe try a combination of the two if one doesn’t work. I also uninstalled/reinstalled the game at first which also helped but that can take a very long time. The methods above are quicker and also seem to work.
The blood cocktail strat for that beast fight is so clutch😭
The tier 3 Clockwise and Anticlockwise Metamorphosis Runes are really nice to use as well. If you use the tier 3 Anticlockwise you get 20% Stamina, and if you stack Tier 2 and 3 Clockwise you get a total Increase of 25% Health. It's a good combo to use as an all around set up, especially with the Hunter Covenant Rune.
I know its kinda late but i found a strat for Gerhman, well i consider it a strat in my opinion
When he two-hands the scythe its the perfect moment for parrying since they have a more open window and are more predictable, while he does the explosion, immediatly run to him and get maximum 2 hits and run off immediatly
If you feel like its too late, dont risk it
When he puts the scythe in one hand and the gun
Dont try to parry, his attacks are less deadlier but more faster
Instead try dashing through them and get maximum 2 hits on him, on phase one you can kinda stagger-lock him, he can still dash away but his attacks gets cancelled so use that to your advantage
With the wind attack i found out that the best way to avoid it is to move back, move away from gerhman to avoid it, well at least that worked for me

Took myself down to memory lane when the first walkthrough started i feel like a boss with these cool as weapons especially the scythe and holy blade and understanding the fortification weapons and visceral attacks and all these types of details it's been awesome and ready to do the DLC next. After doing all these walkthroughs im ready to play sekiro next the one game Ive always been trying to beat but couldn't. 😂
Huge FromSoft fan, Bloodborne is epic. But at times I just didn’t know where to go next and it wasn’t cool. So I was forced to look up a guide. I didn’t have this issue with any of the Souls games just Bloodborne. Like how the hell am I to know to go back to an area I had already cleared, ride an elevator down to pitch darkness, use an emote to hug a creature with a giant eyeball for a full minute , then kill creature for an item ? Loved every minute of Bloodborne, didn’t love having to look up where to go next. But thanks for being that guy to show me where to go. I get the cryptic hints are part of the charm I do , but damn. 😂

A lot of people say Bloodborne is harder than Sekiro but I beat Bloodborne’s final boss on the first try and Sekiro’s final boss took me about 6 hours. Once you understand how to play this games isn’t that tough tbh. Fun game though!

I know this will probably never be read as this was uploaded ages ago, but I have a gripe w you Mr. Cowboy! I have been a life long xbox guy and after watching many of ur walkthroughs of souls games, I decided to buy a ps5 to play Bloodborne. Ur vids are fantastic and u and I typically have similar views on games, playstyles, builds etc. However, following ur advice on this vid, lead to me getting the old hunters badge immediately following the 1st kill of gerhman, thus kicking me into ng+ BEFORE I got to finish the dlc, orphan, or the moon presence! If u have any idea how, I'd love to know why it happened then, instead of after kill number 2...I'd love ur input n keep up the awesome work!

Just finished the main game I don't have DLC unfortunately so killed moon presence here. As my first souls like game I loved it totally. A tip for people struggling with beast possed soul is that it tends to walk slowly towards you which allows you to do a charge attack at it

I'm trying to use the Chalice Glyph for the Beast Claw but it says I don't meet the requirements, did I miss something?
If you are struggling with Geherman, farm up some runes to raise you stats in particular your health. Got mine to 45. Also put 4 extra points in to stamina. Makes a huge difference if you are struggling to parry. Killed him first time on both kills by doing this. The extra stamina allowed me to slam R1 more when I got on top of him.
Not to brag but I beat Gehrman with no problem at all. When he raises his scythe behind his back wait a second then shoot him for a visceral. He flies about you and does crazy damage but if you can keep pressure on him with the sword (not in trick mode) and the empty phantasm shell active, you’ll get some good hits in.
Also when he stands still and does that AOE attack, you can get at most three heavy hits in before you have to back up.
And don’t waste your QS Bullets, there are a few moments where you can get a parry since his attacks are easily telegraphed

6:49 you can use the heir ruin in the dlc and fight living failure and the 2 final hit must be a visceral attack within 5 seconds and you will get a ton of blood echo
@@weebutrash8733 you don’t need to farm it multiple times, it gives you a few million echos, it’s quite broken, do that once and you’re set for a long time

Welp did something wrong when I was trying to upload my saved data I was level 140 and it brought me all the way back to when I was level 70 overall great walkthrough unfortunately I don’t feel like replaying the game just a heads up to anyone following this make sure you don’t lose all your data when you back up your game 😂
The beast dude in the false depth is super easy if you have the auger, get behind him auger for a Stagger, visceral, rinse and repeat, you can auger him before he gets up to the cycle is perpetual.
For anyone watching this walkthrough nowadays, if you don’t care about exploiting things a little there is a method for echo farming that is entirely risk-free, minimal time investment and maximum reward.
If you have PS Plus make sure you’re playing the game logged in and use glyph code cummmfpk
This will put you into a challenge dungeon where if you take a few steps forward, you will notice some poor soul taking damage from something on the other side of the wall. Watch the health bar drain and wait for them to die. Once they’ve kicked the bucket you will be rewarded with a princely 80k blood echos (approximately) just for standing and watching them die. Use a bold hunter’s mark to and run forward again to repeat. If you equip all your moon runes you can semi afk farm till your hearts content.
I have placed this here as an alternative method. Be forewarned though that it has likely been created using save editing and can easily be seen as “cheating” your way to max echos. If that doesn’t sit well with you then use the method denoted in this excellent walkthrough. If you do not care have you earn your echos then this is absolutely the fastest method.
For new people with save states, TURN OFF AUTO SYNC! I did not and whenever your ps5 goes into rest mode it will save your game where you last ended… Fml I worked so hard for the platinum and it ended that way 😢
Do you just have to have all the weapons unlocked or do you have to buy every single one for the trophy?
If anyone is watching these videos now there is a chalice dungeon that is extremely better than this farming run. Just search for “cummmfk” and walk out the door and wait for an enemy to die offscreen. You will get around 80,000 blood echoes for doing nothing. With all three moon runes for high blood echoes, I’m getting around 140,000 for doing nothing. I still love the walkthroughs though so amazing job.
The first time I played bloodborne I could not beat gehrman. Years later, played again, Gehrman was no problem. It’s all about the viscerals which are surprisingly easy to get with him.

I was going to do the saved data thing and I accidentally deleted all of my progress for today and I have been following this whole walkthrough for about 8 hours so that kind of sucks. I am new to playstation though so its sorta my fault, however I love your walkthroughs cowboy and I honestly dont mind going back to episode 14 and redoing everything cause honestly your walkthroughs make my experience of the game so much more enjoyable and they are very helpful for the plat so thank you, just maybe if you are going to do a save data manipulation please be a lot more thorough on where to click and stuff ❤

If you can v. Attack two of the boars within 5 secs you get your rune boosts twice it to seperate equations making your runes incredibly high might help with the farming
I wasn’t paying attention to your instructions and I ended up defeating the moon presence after gherman. Do I need to copy the saved data to the console again and fight gherman once more then quit before fighting the moon presence in order to continue with your walkthrough or can I continue following along in new game plus?
