      Great video, but, may I suggest that you also demonstrate how to do the settings in the camera as well. So, if I want to set my camera to shoot in RAW, how to I set it to do that? Show me!

    Corey, just dropping these lines to tell u "thanks" for the vid 🙏🏽.
    New to photography world, but been dabbling for past few months using only my mobile... been getting good comments, so that made me look into getting more serious.
    Just got a g7 (no particular reason, I know zero about anything... just happened a photographer friend had it 4 sale. I know now it is not the best choice I could have made & could have gotten something better in terms of image stabilization (I suffer MS & other neurological conditions). But so be it...I know I can get another one down the line. In the meantime, I need to learn as much as possible about this baby. I do mostly nighttime street in bnw (through processing... native BMW comes too harsh on mobile).
    I know there are lots other channels w perhaps same info & bigger "production" & following out there but that's precisely why I chose to subscribe to yours.
    I don't do IG or FB only Twitter & week ago signed up on Vero. Btw, few days ago one of the moderators for a site picked me as featured artist... I'm still in cloud 9 bcz the work of the artists they feature is amazing...I only post my mobile Bnw of street life around my neck of the woods once the lights go down & everyone's tucked in at home...darn, now it dawns on me... anyway, I want to improve & produce better quality images by learning about photography & getting better suited equipment & tools (zero st this moment... the economy stuff!).
    Thank you for keeping it real & dwn to earth... the bit about the alarm going off in the bk yard etc was a cool down-to- earth moment that is missing from most everyone else out there, don't lose that!👍🏽🙏🏽❤.
    Btw on Twitter (vintagehuman) @One_LastWish
    Vero: @vintagehuman
    Cheers🥰🐾🌈

    • @CoreyLanier

      Yes, use a gimbal. You would have to purchase that separately. I made a video about one already.

      Yes this is bad, aperture 3,5 is not avaible on my setting. Can you show how to set it properly pleasee

    • @CoreyLanier
      @CoreyLanier  3 роки тому +1

      Sorry I'll make a video covering that. Thanks for letting me know. But what you want to do to change your aperture is hold down the FN1 button while rotating the back wheel. Make sure you're in M mode or it won't work.

    I just got a lumix g100 but my pictures are not coming out sharp. I know it’s the lens. What kind of lens do you recommend for street photography?

    • @CoreyLanier
      @CoreyLanier  Рік тому +1

      I would recommend a wide lens with a low aperture. So something like a 20mm f1.7 or 15mm f1.7 There are better better lenses, but these are the most affordable.

    when you take a photo with an iso at 200 and a shutter at 500 how does the picture not come out very dark??

  • @predatoria_aquatica
    @predatoria_aquatica 3 роки тому

    Hi! how can I set my g7 for capturing action photos? Like predator fish eating fish which is like fast motion? It’s always blurry. Just got this cam for Xmas hoping I can take cool shots of my pets lol

    • @CoreyLanier
      @CoreyLanier  3 роки тому

      you need to make sure your shutter speed is high. Usually somewhere around at least 1/200 of a sec. Look into "stop action" photography.

    • @CoreyLanier
      @CoreyLanier  2 роки тому

      The iso on Lumix G7 goes does to 200. I think the highest it goes in 25600, but I would never suggest using it that high unless you really need it.

    • @fredericeeckman3002
      @fredericeeckman3002 Рік тому

      @@CoreyLanierif you change the extended iso settings on the menu you'll be able to use 100 iso on the G7.

    which lens are better?
    Panasonic - Lumix G Vario 45-150mm f/4.0-5.6 ASPH. Mega O.I.S. Zoom Lens - black
    OR
    Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 ASPH. Lens
    both are the same price. I want to start my photography page and take clients to shoot but my shoots so far of people comes out blurry in background. Any tips? please and thank you.

    • @CoreyLanier
      @CoreyLanier  2 роки тому

      I would definitely go with the 25mm first. You'll get blurry background pics which looks awesome. Plus you can still fit things on screen with out having to back up too far form your subject.
