Long ago, there was nothing but an endless sea, cloaked in a boundless sky, reaching as far as the eye could possibly imagine. Then, two great titans came into existence. The Mwambionis, and the Mehmehchonis
People claimed the ending was the biggest unexplained loose end. I WANT MORE LORE ON THE OVAH. WHY ARE THE ORPHEANS RELATED TO TELETHIA. WHAT WAS THAT.
I say "earlier today" since I recorded and edited all of this yesterday, but didn't finish it until 1 AM. I figured it would be best to hold it off until the following day. Regardless, I hope you enjoy! Editor's Note: Now that I'm looking at the Ganglion Mothership while double checking the video, it actually looks pretty similar to Origin. Huh. Perhaps another crackpot theory added to the list?
The Ganglion is actually with the other fleet of ships, the Samaarians. The ship that looks like Origin is part of the Ghost faction, heavily implied to be the same race as you-know-who with the big plot twist at the end involving a pod. Makes things all the more confusing when trying to discern motivations when you consider the Ganglion are the ones openly antagonistic to humans but the Ghosts are the ones that explicitly hunted down the White Whale and made it crash on Mira. Still though, it does make you wonder when you look at the similarities to Origin.🤔
Also, I seem to remember talk of the Ghosts fleet being antimatter / causing annihilation events. It would take time to find sources Edit: Ghost entry on Xenoblade fandom wiki. Each Ghost has an antimatter core capable of which will cause an annihilation event if it contacts matter. Also similar to the Gnosis in XS
Tatsu knew about Fromtier Village and Homs and Lyn has monado hairpin because it's a simulation created by Klaus, that was a big fan of the Xenoblade games.
My theory is Elma is somehow the A version of Malos, and Malos is the black knight. They are setting up a Malos redemption arc for him. Ties back to Rex wondering what Malos would have been like if he was his driver.
As a note on the outfit with a purple core for the datamined version of the black knight, it's an edited version of a pre-existing ingame armor set to have some elements (namely shoulder pads) removed. Iirc its the Grenada medium series, which already has the chest core on all versions, so i kinda doubt it's that significant.
If they do try to concretely tie X and the numbered games together, I hope it’s in a clean way. The Conduit is a gateway to other worlds, right? Just make X’s timeline one of them.
That's the nice thing about the Conduit. You can use its existence as a gateway to other worlds and universes as an easy way to bring stuff back or keep things connected no matter how loosely.
It is connected I feel, but I also feel Mira is located around or has a pull similar to a black hole, perhaps it is where earth reforms itself completely, since Earth that remained turned to ruin grounds that got flooded with a cloud sea, then there is the other version of the same planet, then there is the fusing of worlds based on technology on both sides. What if Mira is the further reach of this place?
The radio broadcast in Future Redeemed makes it clear X is set in the distant past right after the Klaus era, the Philadelphia class ships are the arks shown at the start of X (Which by the way also means Xenogears is part of the continuity, as the Eldridge was also a Philadelphia class ship), and the departure date matches (July 2054), the Earthlife Colonization Project and Project Exodus are also namedropped, as well as the Coalition government, all terms used by Lin in the opening scene for X. The moment in time that Alpha brought Na'el to was barely a few months before both the arrival of Ghost and Ganglion and the phase transition experiment in the Radamanthus. Ad yes, Xenosaga could also be canon, remember, Ghost and Ganglion are not actualy aliens, they're beings created by the Samaarians, the people who were flung into the past by Klaus' experiment.
I think the only real hard problem I have is that the planet blows up. If they retcon it to just disappears into light then I think it cements all that and X could be in the same lower domain as the main numbered entries. I always suspected the intention of X was it was a different lower domain because the Samaarian ships looked suspiciously like Abel's Ark from Xenosaga.
An important parallel between X and 3 is the Lifehold/Origin, both games have essentially the same premise, the people are stuck in an ark, unable to escape it, but their emotions have an outlet in the shape of Mimeosomes/Moebius, so I don't think an Endless Now scenario is too wild, after all we never were told why the Mims kept working after the Lifehold was destroyed, so perhaps much like Z stopped the reboot in order to preserve the worlds, something has stopped time for the Mims in order to preserve their minds; perhaps there was something else in the White Whale, something akin to Deus, I wouldn't put it past the Coalition government.
Finally, after over +2000 hrs on the original, I have this to look forward to. The og was my into to xenoblade and was easily one of my favorite games. Super bias and will admit nostalgic, but I still have a soft spot for this game. Still have my Wii U just for the original.
@@KayJulers I just hope the gameplay is better explained. It was 150ish hours in before I learned overdrive lasted over 5 seconds. So much of this gem is never explained or is easily missed. I hope this gives people a chance to enjoy this game. I'm already mentally preparing to grind for the Ares.
Oddest thing to me is the planet glowing in this trailer version, vs the original trailer on Wii U just switching scenes... Adjusting a cinematic cutscene is a lot bigger of a change then tweaking some dialogue.
@Bibbedibob it could be, but it seems odd that was the only thing they adjusted outside of the resolution increase and model changes, when it wasn't really a necessity. I think it'd be more understandable and believable if they had other post processing effects on the same level.
Since it's getting a remake, they could retcon the end of the game to make us realize that the planet did not explode; it disappeared into its pocket dimension, and the others were left here.
@@tallen3057 Xenoblade Chronicles DE is a tough call because it is more than an upscaled port (which would be a remaster) but has heavily alterated assets and a highly updated engine. A remake per definition is the same game based on a new engine, everything beyond this would be a reimagening (new gameplay- or narrative). A remaster is an upscaled port so XBCDE is something inbeteween a remaster (not entirley new engine) remake (new assets) and reimagening (some retcons, new epilogue). I would call it a remake. XBCX has yet to show how much additional content there is but from a technical perspective it is a remaster.
@@tallen3057 the retcon of Alvis being an aegis happened in 2 really, because he shares abilities with the other 2 along with Malos having a Monado also. DE just confirmed that retcon
My best guess in how they could tie this game into the trilogy is to retcon the destruction of earth and make it so the White Whale left earth just as the Klaus experiment was happening...whether they essentially crossed into a different dimension with Mira existing or happened to get there separately.
@Bibbedibob Like I said, potential retcon. Not saying it is definitely what they are doing, but they could very well retcon things to make it all match up.
Here's the thing (& I sadly have yet to truly make it to the end of any Xenoblade game, but now have a VERY big Motivation to) The Klaus Experiment seems to be a massive Dimensional, Space/Time Paradox of the "Chicken🐔 meets Egg🥚 meets Chicken🐔" kind (Like an Auroborous, a Snake [ or in this case Dimensional Paradox ] eating it's Tail) That basically, all the events of 1, 2, 2: Torna (possibly), 3, & X ALL happened nearly at the SAME time, from a stand-point of unabridged Real-time Earth Hours That the Klaus Event happened both before & AFTER the intro of Xenoblade Chronicles X, both Causing AND Reacting TO the "Alien War" above Earth that destroyed it That all these different things, like these Mimeosomes, Realians, Gnosis/Ghosts, etc are all both Symptoms of & born FROM that selfsame Dimensional Chicken/Egg Paradox Atleast if you believe that whatever Energy that exists (that we refer to as Time) can flow Forward, Backward, AND Horizontally thru Outer Space & potential parallel Dimensions; ... Potentially creating an INFINITE number of Variations of Variations of Variations of "Reality" Like the Theory called the "Multiple-String Theory", or the idea that every Decision you or any1 else makes, every single Action that affects ANYTHING else meaningfully, causes "ripples" or changes in the potential "Outcome" of an Event; ..... I.E. : There's an infinite number of versions of yourself in an infinite amount of different Realities that are ALL Real, Equal, & Functional LIVING worlds like the rest, but where your Job is different, or maybe you are of a different Race, or maybe you weren't even born, or you died young, or even became a Genius (like Klaus) who tried to break the world's with your Madd Genius....
Remember, in XbC3 they called that world the Forever NOW, but if it's a Paradoxial plane, then for anything & every1 OUTSIDE that plane of existence, that entire "Forever NOW" was LITERALLY now, but for all of a few Earth-time seconds, not actual Millennia, even tho the Forever NOW lasted potentially FOREVER inside the Paradox Field So it's ENTIRELY possible, that all 3 games are actually ALL within their own separate Paradoxial planes but, DIRECTLY connected because they all both are Symptoms OF, AND directly a PART of, said Chicken/Egg Paradox caused by Klaus' Misanthropic Experiment So from a completely outside view, from LITERALLY OUTSIDE of the area of Space/Time affected by the Paradox, the ENTIRE Paradox happened say, Friday, but ENDED Wednesday, of the SAME WEEK, looping over & over & Over & OVER, until some1 (as that certain foul-mouthed smartass in XbC3 put it) untill some1 "Kills the NOW" & Untill that happens, that Paradox will recreate ITSELF, INFINITELY
I saw that she still has the one on the right hand side, but I believe she had one on either side in the original X. Perhaps it's just a slight redesign?
@@KayJulers Either way I hope that she and Elma get redesigned as their models look incomplete, e.g. Lin's hair bangs looks rough and like a bad hair cut in some shots.
I personally do believe that the Project Exodus mentioned in Future Redeemed and the one in XCX are one and the same. The thing about the one in FR is that we hear about it through a radio transmission in a regular day. They would not announce to the public that "actually, there's a war between two alien races that are heading towards our planet so we're trying to escape our inevitable destruction, if you can't make it to one of the ships then tough shit kiddo lolololol", that would only cause panic and chaos. Plus it would allow them to send those who are wealthy and part of the elite first, which IIRC was a plot point in the game. As to the planet being destroyed, we learn in the game that many things that we thought were true were in fact not the case. Hell, we don't even really know if Cross is a real human or not, and fake memories are most likely a thing.
Someone said that the character with Lao was probably the Lone Hero and tbh I think that's probably the most likely scenario. I don't think the Black Knight was originally supposed to be him, but it would make sense as a retcon
Really curious if X's new story content is an extension of the game or a Future Connected style thing? Idk monolith has gotten into a rhythm with these expansions so it might be nice to see something different where it's not just its own self contained thing but extra chapters for the game.
That's a good question. If I were to be ambitious, I'd like the current X story to be like a 1/2 or 2/3 way checkpoint that just continues, but a selectable add-on aligns more with what they have done historically.
Whatever the case, I do hope it'll stay as its own thing and won't be connected to the other 3 games (which I honestly think was also extremely poorly done in XC3 to the point of it basically ruining the endings of 1 and 2).
@@renren47618 XCX has so much stuff left untreated I feel like there's no way to finish it all in a single chapter. Like half of the game is missing. It ends when the first real big twist happens.
5:13 gave me an OOBE there [Ending spoilers below] I really like that the color balancing is more in-line with the numbered games, it'll make the landscapes pop even more. And if we get an events theater, it'll be fun to watch cutscenes with Xeno Elma, which you can only do with mods in the original
Good point about Elma! I appreciate having the Event Theater, so more options would be great! I don't think they will, but I'd like them to include a music slider in the theater itself.
2:30 Hold up what if “The Black Knight” is Lao’s original body. Maybe he snuck onto another Ark that crashed into Mira, or just on the White Whale itself but no one noticed
My theory: The human society where Klaus is from are the Samaarians of X. They lived initially on their origin planet, but advanced and branched out into the universe, founding the Galactic Federation and creating Ganglion as servants. Then, Klaus activates the experiment, launching the origin planet into two new dimensions (XC1, XC2). In the original universe, humanity is declining, eventually only inhabiting a single planet, Earth, and forgetting about their origins. Meanwhile, XC3 happens and the worlds of XC1 and XC2 reunite properly, creating Mira with Nopon as native inhabitants. FInallly, the plot of X starts, Earth gets destroyed and humanity crashes onto their original home - now called Mira.
I think Mira might be the earth from the main series after XC3, millions of years later, and everyone from the X universe got transported there without realizing it; or drawn there by Origin, which would be inside Mira and is keeping endangered species alive like a "good" Aionios. This would also explain the FR post-credits scene with the ship crashing toward Earth/Mira.
I hope they keep it separated. There is no Conduit or Zohar in X, there is no Trinity Processor, and there is no Klaus. Earth blew up because of the antimatter cores of the Ghost's ship being shot down. The timeliness had to be distorted extremely to make it fit in any way besides a ship from FR making it to the X Universe, thus becoming the first Saamar whose descendents later colonised the Earth of that Universe.
While I think it should remain separate, I think they could very easily just retcon things to make it fit, like they did with Chronicles 1 Definitive to make 2 fit in after 2 inserted itself into that same canon.
I really hope that they keep it separate also. I was a huge fan of 1 and x but didn't really like 2 and 3. Attaching them to 1 really killed the story for me. I haven't even bothered playing the DLC for 3.
I don't think the similarities between X and 3 are an indication that they are connected in any way. Since they said that they had the concept of 3 before making 2, it's more likely that X is closer to an early draft of 3. I also remember an interview around 2's release (though I don't remember where it was, so I may be misremembering) where they said they didn't like the direction's of X's story but didn't want to scrap the world, which is why they still finished and released the game with a larger focus on exploration. It's still possible they'll tie it in somehow, especially if it's a simulation or a parallel universe, but I don't think the similarities to 3 are an indication of them being linked.
I’m really excited to play X DE and I’m so happy that its getting additional story content since I tried playing it on the Wii U this year but the UI and the mechanics were too confusing to me to fully understand lol. As for the lore, I think that if they intend on connecting X with the main trilogy, it could be explained by saying that the X universe is one of the universes created by the conduit during the experiment and that the Ganglion and the samaarians are actually the humans who got sucked into the X universe which could explain why human DNA is deadly to them, as they’re both made of opposing types of matter and would cancel the other out like how the worlds of 1 and 2 were supposed to cancel each other out in 3, but that’s just my theory. If it ties into the main trilogy in a sense or if it’s within its own continuity, I’m excited regardless to play this game in its definitive form!
I think the black knight is gonna be some version of Logos and the lifeholds are like mini origins based on logos as a framework like how ontos was the basis for origin. As for the universe of X I think their earth is a parallel timeline from the shared universe of Saga and the original world of blade 1 and 2 together. Both had similar teams working on project exodus but the main differentiation between the timelines was the cause, where the X universe had alien life which showed up and fucked shit up, while the saga universe had no aliens but came in contact with the zohar leading to war between humanity. We have seen multiple times now that Aegis cores can be duplicated with Pyra/Mythra splitting and Alvis becoming Alpha and A. I think by some matter of interdimensional timeline shenanigans, logos became 2 being, one which was left behind as Malos/The Sword of the End, and another which manifested in the X universe as the black knight, who didn't turn out inherently evil since he wasn't awakened by amalthus. Its quite possible Elma was the one who first resonated with Logos in a way similar to how shulk did with alvis which lead to them creating the original ares. And if we look at the tandem ares skell, it resembles Ouroboros interlinks a good bit which is kinda on the nose with is being piloted by 2 people. Ouroboros in e was created by Nia using energy she coukd access from origin, which was based in turn on ontos. In this case the Ares wasn't a stand/fusion thing, but just a cool robot, functionally closer to an artifice, which they then derived all mass produced skells from. The planet Mira is special because it exists in this sort of transient state with the upper domain, where it simultaneously manifests in all timelines as a singular crossroads point. Essentially, the planet itself is kinda like a gnosis but it isn't made of rejected souls n shit so you don't gotta worry about turning to salt the moment you touch the ground. It could even be that Mira is the restored earth/lost Jerusalem, and the 2 universes colliding together again causd a ripple where it manifested in other timelines like the X universe and the black knight is actually just malos himself seeking redemption by shepherding humanity from other timelines facing similar extinction events like the experiment to mira. Then that explains the nopon on mira knowing about hom hom, the monado and the statuette of the bionis and mechonis, and why there are giant rings from the mechonis in Oblivia. FUCK IT! YOU WANNA GET CRAZY? LETS GET STUPID! KOS-MOS GETS PINNOCHIOED AND IS A REAL GIRL NOW, AND THAT GIRL IS ELMA, WHO RESONATES WITH MALOS, AND NOW KOS MOS AND MALOS ARE BEST FRIENDS WHO TRAVEL SPACE IN THE ARES AND THEY ARE GONNA SAVE DA WHOLE MULTIVERSE! THE END!
But logos is a part of the machine which created the two worlds. It dont make sense he is existing a second time. Claus was the only being which existed in both worlds. Even alvis was only in 1
My theory, which I've had for years and will continue to support, is that Mira is the homeworld of the Saamarians who 'appeared' at the beginning of the universe. Of course, there's always the alternative theory, that Mira is an Origin, like the one from XC3, which originally contained the souls of humanity from the Xenosaga/Blade universe and was used by them, to escape the heat death of their universe and loop back around to the beginning (or to the beginning of a different universe) and become the Saamarians.
Happy to see more KayJulers. I'm looking forward to the definitive edition because I'm still yet to play XCX. I do actually own a sealed copy of it and have a Wii U but both these were given to me right around Future Redeemed's release so I put them off to have some gaps in my own play. I still think it's wild they announced this out of nowhere and not at a direct.
Maybe the story is altered a bit and instead of fleeing Earth, the White Whale is a colony ship sent out from Earth centuries prior to Klaus hitting the big red button but then was attacked by the Ganglion once it reached Mira? The events occurring in XC 1-3 however sent shock waves throughout the galaxy causing some sort of resonance anomalies on Mira including in the Lifehold. We come to find out that Mira was a planet where an experiment like Klaus' once took place hundreds of thousands, or millions of years ago, and the planet is still reactive to the same creative energies released on Earth.
Iam still kind of in the Endless now camp or that Mira somehow is what ever happend to Ainios, or that at least Oblivia is what Aionios turned into. I think when comparing espeacially Aionios to Oblivia there actually is some overlap. And the Other continents might be other worlds, but in the end I obviously dont really know.
Here's what I think: What we want to see *Updated* 1: Boob slider uncensored well uncensored gameplay from the original Japanese version. 2: Better online mode with more exploration harder missions and larger exploration of maps' for online mode 3: Better inventory clutter fix, with previews of equipment on obtaining them, and previews in the menu of each item. 4: Maybe a multi-player to explore your own world with friends in split screen and or online. 5: Let me choose to turn off the flight music. 6: When flying around in your mech, another key to turn into a Jet plane Mech to fast speed past map areas or escape from an op enemy. 7: Let us bring the Jump skill back. ---------------------------------------- I ranked over 30,000 hours in this game. I wonder how long the online mode in this game is now, or will they shutdown the servers like they did on the wii-U? Side note my character you might recognise is called Nirvana I was online 24/7 nearly since the wii-U's American release lol. Hopefully they give us new mechs and a lot of them, and more customization perhaps some download content to give us mechs like in Xenogears with cool weapons and unique abilities that are op lol I'd like to fly around with Xenogears from well Xenogears lol Lau in the game might mean he can bring his black mech to help the team lol. Also you know there's going to be a Xenoblade Chronicles X-2 if this game does well on the switch, and it will come out on the switch 2 guaranteed. Wonder when it will be on physical pre-order? Oh don't worry m8 they can connect all the characters like they did in the games, via the dimension rift, and yes this is my fav game of all time probably. I spent the longest on it than any other game in the world, the main story was weak and quick, but the exploration and missions were so good it made up for it. *What do you think? What would you like to see updated or changed?*
In the creators depends of this game has almost been 10 years really well I actually suspect to be 10 years or 15 years or so to be honest to get it out of the way you did the switch. I figured that would be crazy expensive. There was a lot in the game.
Out of curiosity, have you read the Xenogears Perfect Works? Cause a lot of things in the 'Saga trilogy and Xenoblades in general seem like modern retelling of what would have been "Xenogears episode 1, 2, 4" and part of their stories. Xenogears being episode 5 out 6 IIRC, as Tetsuya had planned it.
I am pretty sure they are setting up what comes with Xenoblade chronicles 4 with this game due to the fact 3 was labeled as the end of the Klaus saga, they didn’t say though the current lore won’t continue so they use X now to build up a new plot, future redeemed already hinted the greater narrative with its callbacks to Gears, Saga and X.
My crazy theory is that at the moment of Klaus' experiment, an alternate timeline was created were similar events happened but with different results. Rather than the destruction be Earth be caused by a space human civil war, it was cause by a clash between 2 alien races. Either that or X was already a separate timeline/universe that Klaus mentioned in 2, and him "opening that forbbiden gateway" had the Conduit create Mira. See yall in March when this is all debunked and the real reason was Juju using his godly powers to create Mira on a casual Tuesday
I think that the Black Knight is an entirely new character but to get a bit on the crazier side i heard a theory saying that the Black Knight is Logos because the voice actor kind of sounds a bit like Malos, initially i thought of Dmitri Yuriev but his voice doesn't sounds anything close to Yuriev's old VA and even if it is a new character i think they would actually give a similiar voice to him or call the old VA back. My theory is that the new ending might end showing that the blue meteor at the end of XC3 is actually someone/a Spaceship from XCX arriving on Lost Jerusalem instead of it being KOS MOS like a lot of people theorized(as much as it hurts for me to say that) and the new epilogue might end with Lao, Elma or whatever arriving at it showing that they are in fact on the same universe as the mainline series now. Now for me something that would make me go crazy is if somehow they reveal KOS MOS in some way here like finding her asleep on the place where Lao finds himself on but again those are just crackpot theories, i think that the blue meteor theory is the only one that is genuinely plausible for me.
@@renren47618 I share the opinion that he’s a new character, just perhaps not new to Lao. I have heard the Logos theories and I think they’re pretty neat. However, too much speculation from XC3 about returning characters has just led me to believe that they usually just show us if someone is returning. From what I’ve heard, the Japanese voice actor is completely new, which makes me think it’s also not a returning character. Unfortunately, I haven’t hit Dimitri yet in Saga, so I can’t say too much on him.
Ever since I saw the rings of oblivia I always subscribed to the fan theory that planet Mira is the future of the earth long after the events of Xenoblade 1. I still hold that theory in my heart
I'm lukewarm on my own theory, but I think I prefer it over the simulation idea. My current theory is that the Zohar experiment split the events into 3 timelines. Chronicles 1, 2 and X. Chronicles X is the timeline which received none of the trinity processor, since we already know where it is. When the experiment took place in this timeline, there were no results to speak of, and the Trinity Processor disappears. Having lost the processor, Klaus gives up. News about the experiment never gets out because it was completely inconsequential. It may as well have never happened. In the meantime, Elma arrives at earth 30 years before she knows a battle will take place and put the planet in danger, and the events of X take place as usual. Project Exodus becomes a worldwide initiative, but the American government is the only party aware of the true reason for its existence, as Elma came to them first. This could explain the proactive/reactive problem. I doubt this is a perfect theory and it probably has some slight timing issues that I don't know about, but I couldn't find any specific information about when the experiment took place past "20XX" which is wildly unhelpful.
The sheer awe-inspiring scale and depth of the open-world design is still unlike any other type video game. It's simply incredible, especially for Wii U at the time and you can see why Monolith Soft got the job of helping with Zelda BOTW/TOTK open-world design :-)
Honestly, this was my first xeno game and will always have a special place in my heart, but they need an extra 10-20 hour epilogue to close out this story. Future connected is a good model for this story wise, and future redeemed had a similar progression model to X, actually. I think there's tons of potential here to make this a top 3 xeno game
I agree that a solid 10-20 hours would be appreciated like other expansions. I’d like to be greedy and ask for Torna numbers, but I think the lower end is more reasonable.
Arguably/technically, the planet did in fact explode in the 1, 2, 3-verse. It's also possible the explosion just looked different from the perspective of the X side of the event.
Mira being in the endless now would be a pretty convenient way to bring it into the canon and explain away the inconsistencies with the rest of the series.
For one i am happy it's coming back i did a 100% 400h run back in 2015 and was sad it didn't sell well but as an old time fan & also newcomers, we really wanted this to come out so we can play this we've waited decades it's something we really deserved it just isn't complete xenoblade switch collection without X.
Exploration, the world was so great. As for the story I've enjoyed more story missions or whatever it was called, it fleshed out characters (oh, and affinity missions were great in it) and the world more, even gave additional details about the lore itself, spoilers: take for example Saamarians when in one story mission one of the alien races (the one with a breathing mask) findout thst they were created by saamarians eho looked the same as humans for their own benefit and that character became really sad after this fiding. I remener asking people what they enjoyed more main story or story missions, and most of them said story missions.

I would guess some original details would be retconned to fit the whole "lets link all the xenoblade games together" conspiracy and I dont mind that at all. I do hope there are *new recruitable party members, new skells and possibly some superbosses from the recent XC 2&3 games*
Does this mean we'll see xenoblade X in the next xeno-lympics? there's probably some cool stuff you could do with skell races or something of the like. Edit: Oops, you already covered that later in the video. Well, I'll be excited to see it!
Xenoblade Chronicles X is still one of my favourite Games of all time. Never played the other Xenoblades (lol) but ofc I'm happy about the Definitive Edition
I do hope I'm wrong, but I have a sneaking suspicion that narrative expansion may be similar to the MGS5 end/post game. A handful of side quests that may hint at some entanglement with the numbered series or Saga (Gears if they are super ambitious) but I'd be happy with base XBCX on Switch, so honestly fine with whatever
As a primary Nintendo fan that likes Xenoblade(played all of them) but likes Nintendo's philosophies on gaming, Xenoblade is my favorite Xenoblade game. Has unmatched exploration and gameplay loop and has the best array of side quests in the game. I know people have an expectation on the main story but it was refreshing seeing a Rpg where you just want to play more than anything.
The only thing am not look forward to is that they may censor some characters. In a game who previous western versions got rid of the boob slider so every women became a c cup.
@@ShinUltima I still live in hope they reverse that stupid unnecessary censorship in this definitive edition, but its not deal breaker if it doesn't happen unlike Tokyo Mirage Sessions, which did actually affect the game. These companies need to stop treating everyone like we are all kids that cannot handle adult content and use the age ratings :-)
@SamM_Scot It's less not treating people like adults (and to be fair, Nintendo has traditionally a lot more child focus than Sony or Microsoft) and more recognizing that some things that are fine in Japan would not be fine outside of Japan. I'm indifferent to the boob slider, personally, but Lin's JPN outfits are definitely questionable.
@@ShinUltima I do agree with some of what you're saying, but this isn't 80s/early 90s Nintendo anymore and Nintendo Switch especially has more than enough adult M-Rated content. The system even has said content that got either censored or refused releases on PS and Xbox that I'm happy about. Also, everything is completely fictional entertainment at the end of the day :-)
@@SamM_Scot But Xenoblade isn't rated M, nor should it be. From Nintendo's perspective, it's safer ro just remove potentially offensive stuff ahead of time rather than trying to deal with potential fallout. All it takes is, say, one angry impetuous litigatious suburban mom to raise a complaint. It's not as though the things altered/removed from the JPN version affect gameplay. And it's also stuff that would be.... rather difficult to justify if someone actually complains ("Why yes, judge, I think the sanctity of 13 year old Lin's skimpy outfits should be preserved"). It's not a fight worth fighting, really.
It's been a while since I played X, was the whole imminent destruction of Earth that led to project exodus known to the general public? If not then it's possible it's the same as the one in future redeemed, only in that universe a certain someone destroyed Earth prematurely
I just subscribe to the parallel universe theory. The backstory of Klaus's Earth and X's Earth are too different. I completely agree with the distinction between the Project Exodus of each world. Additionally, I feel like if they were the same, we'd have some hint of the Samaar-Ghost conflict in any of the numbered games, but of course, we don't get that. Klaus mentions in the "Memories of this Planet" cutscene near the end of 2 that there are countless parallel dimensions existing side by side, and I always assumed X and Gears were among those. While based on what I've seen Saga might be able to fit in the same universe as numbered Blade games, I don't think X can. But the acknowledgement of a wider multiverse makes it very easy to connect them without disrupting the story thus far in either world. I actually once had the idea of the Conduit appearing on Mira being the plot of an X sequel, but I don't know how well that fits with the rest of the Xeno lore, so...
I think that's perfectly valid! I think the likelihood of that being the truth could be more reasonable given what we know about the Conduit. I think that Gears as a parallel universe would make a ton of sense for Monolith to loosely say, "Hey, this is a thing you could interpret as a part of our series, but we can't legally say that." Regardless, it has me pretty excited about the direction they'll take.
In fc we only saw the beginning of rifts appearing. The nopon that reference the first game could've easily gotten pulled into such a rift and landed in X's universe, before they knew about 2's world. 2 acknowleges there are other universes out there, unaware of one another. I don't see why X can't exist as one of those universes and cannon. And just because things dont line up exactly between games doesn't discount anything. Could be two similar universes that have similar events that for various reasons happen at different points or have different outcomes. I feel like the radio is partially lying to the public - especially if its early days - so they leave the planet blissfully unaware of how bad the situation really is. before the reality of the situation becomes too big to hide. The higher ups know what's coming, the human right's bill pissing off whoever the minority party is and they're escalating? Sounds like an oncoming war or at least a low key one already going on if I've ever heard it.
I honestly believe it will be tied to Xenosaga. The simulation possibilty seems like the most reasonable theory and a simulation could 100% be ran by some of the vector scientist. Dont see how Klaus could fit into all of this
I hope the continuation from the ending is substantial or at least bridges us to the next xeno title. I liked X, but the way it ends (with so many open questions) is very frustrating. I'm glad that it isn't just an abandon storyline now.
5 continents, 5 titans joining the land in the end of X2. Origin and that black metal material is pretty similar to technology in X. And X3 FR connected X with all numbers Xeno games, we have surprises yet to see from this Definitive Edition, maybe a new end and a new post game like the X1 or maybe an dlc líke X2 or X3. Well see 🤔.
I'm going to have to see how they handle DLC and such first before I pick this up. And I'm someone who bought a Wii U exclusively to play the original.
@@KayJulers I don't know why that just bubbled out of my brain, but when you pointed out the similarity of the pants/shoes and just what I know about the end of the game... Just suddenly that clicked in my head. Also makes the line he says extra funny.
With X's narrative, I wouldn't be opposed to a couple changes to bring it in line with the other titles like they did with Alvis in Definitive Edition.
@KayJulers biggest challenge will be bringing it in line with Xenosaga too. Because the Samaar Federation and the Ghosts, they can't exist anywhere in the Xenosaga we know.
@@badlatency9979Xenosaga isn't truly connected so far, in fact as much as i want Xenosaga to be canon i think that is more likely that the next Xenoblade game will have a Uzuki protagonist and KOS MOS alongside other stuff from Saga but unrelated to the old games, it's way easier to do that and tie X instead of tying both games But who knows what Takahashi is thinking and i think that he could very well don't truly care about these sort of details, especially considering how huge the Xeno universe is but that's more of a copium take.
@renren47618 what matters is that we know at a minimum that similar events to saga and the same characters from saga are canon to blade. Even if some exact details don't translate over. What matters is that Xenosaga lives on and continues in Xenoblade, regardless of whether blade itself is canon to saga.
EVERY xenoblade has had some dlc. 1 had future connected 2 had the little bonus area with shulk fiora and Elma And 3 had allllot of dlc. This game will tie up loose ends and add extra stuff I bet on it
I dont mean to be an ass but there is no way someone could have seen a game this massive and just assumed they made some mmo like function. It isn't like they were working on some GTA level budget. Maybe I was more rational, but I thought it was insane that they even let Monolith cook like this.
Whatever the case, I'm 100% sure that the events of the prologue will turn out to have been some kind of lie. Whether that reveal be in the new story, or in an X2.
I am excited for this game, because when it first came out, I was in theatre school and was barely able to play, maybe touched it for a total of 2 hours? Then forgot about it, the switch came out, a BUNCH of re-releses came out, so I hoped for XCX to follow and I sold my original copy... oopsy... NOW! Without knowing everything bout X... Theory time! (purely based on XB 1-3) Spoilers When Rex and co meet with the Architect, Klaus mentions that his world, was not the only one to exist, and that "Endless universes coexist, side by side" and that the Conduit was the link to these foreign worlds... Purely based on this, and all the evidence I've heard which supports the Xenosaga and Xenoblade 1-3 potential relation, I would like to think that the Earth of XBX is a parallel earth to Klaus' and that the stories, once again, are moving side by side I am unaware of how fast or slow time flows in the pocket dimensions of XB1 and XB2. Based on how Klaus and Alvis speak, it's clear that both are evolving and growing at a similar rate, but, how does that translates to the world where the original XB earth was? Is time stopped? Does it still flow, but at a slower pace? At the end of Future Connected, we two interesting things, Telethia flying into the Rift, which allows Shulk and co to deal with the Fog King, but we don't know if these telethia simply perished, or went sent to other worlds Since we don't know exactly what was going on in Alrest's world at the time, we don't know if Rex and co had to face Fog beast representations of Telethia (Maybe?) (haven't read the books that were released with the games, in case that is said in any of those) What if one of those Telethia traveled through the Rift into the world of Mira? OR! What if the new earth that showed up at the end of XB3 Future redeemed is the same Earth that get's blown up in XBX? (Just an after thought after writing this theory, LOL)
I think this is pretty well thought out! I feel the idea of a parallel universe with this Earth sharing similarities with Klaus', while simultaneously diverting is a pretty reasonable conclusion. I don't believe there is any outside material that reference the Alrest gang's struggles with Fog Beasts, but I do want to take a look at the backstory behind Telethia, the Endbringer to refresh myself on how that came to be in Mira.
Haven't yet watched the video, pretty busy at the moment, but is it just me that thinks the voice of the hooded figure at the end sounds familiar? [Spoilers for Xenoblade X, 2, and 3] I immediately thought, "That sounds like Malos," which either means it's Malos, Logos, or another new sub-personality of Logos. I'm betting on Logos. Logos being referred to by a code name like Black Knight would make sense to me since Malos' core is a dark purple so Logos having dark colors in his design would make sense. Plus we've seen the inclusion of dark colors with Malos, a sub-personality of Logos. It would also be cool because we have yet to see Logos' design, so getting to see that for the first time would be a pretty big moment for fans. If we're going off Pneuma, his hair could be the same color as his core? And beyond all of that, it would mark a big change in Logos' character since he has finally moved beyond his past. Also it would make sense from a story rhythm standpoint. Looking at the overarching story of the series, there's a big mystery at the end of Future Redeemed and that has to do with, was Logos' core in N's sword? If it was how did it get there? To get a bit into the weeds, if you go back to that scene in Future Redeemed, when Pneuma's core is shown it looks like there is a green light that takes the form of Pneuma's core, not the other way around (a green light that emanates from the core). Meaning either, that Pneuma's core wasn't originally inside the gauntlet but physically manifested inside at that moment, or it is just a visual representation. We know from various things that origin metal can contain the souls of people (or their memories, I think it's souls for reasons I won't get into for the purposes of this crackpot theorizing). So it makes sense that if Matthew's gauntlets contain Pyra/Mythra/Pneuma's soul (Souls? One for each gauntlet lol), that N's sword emanating a similar light to Malos, would contain Malos/Logos' soul. Finally, at the end of two, when Pneuma sacrifices herself we hear Malos say something to the effect of, "So what was it like? To live." And we never hear Pnuema's response, we could now learn what she said to him. But putting what she said aside, the words he speaks in that scene always puzzled me. Malos did get to live, albeit a life where was heavily influenced by Amalthus early on, and influenced by other bad influences (though he certainly influenced others badly as well). So I asked a basic question to solve the mystery, is it really Malos speaking or Logos? If it was Logos who asked that question it would make perfect sense, seeing as he never got to actually live like the other two aegises. Giving him the opportunity to live would be a great way to redeem his character and learn a lot more about who he truly is without the bad influences of others. Of course my ears could simply be playing tricks on me, but if the VA of the hooded figure at the end is Malos' VA, then I think it would make sense seeing as Pneuma, Mythra, and Pyra obviously have the same VA. Final note, there's a 3D model of the black knight with a core in his chest that looks dark purple. That could point towards Mobius, but it could also be an early mock up of what an Aegis' core looks like, and it's actually supposed to be Malos' core, it is afterall a dark purple, so it's possible. Also what if the conduit is the root cause of the strange phenomena on Mira? TLDR: The hooded figure at the end may be Malos/Logos/A new sub-personality of Logos. If so, this explicitly ties the main series into X in a pretty big way.
Could be fun if it's Logos (even if it's not David Menkin it could still be a new personality) considering the scene with Lao resembles how Rex met Pyra and how Shulk met Alvis. The "Black Knight" seems to know Lao and they're alone together, I think it's neat, it has the same aura (kinda)
They should have kept the doll-like look, as it fit the fact that they are robots theme! Moreover, Goddess Elma is back!!! But what's up with her new art style and she was a little darker complexion-wise (I liked that)! I hope things improve on that front! Other than that... I'm excited!🎉🎊
Wouldn't make sense, and it's bothered me since the OG game, if they don't know they are mimeosomes and think they are human for like a 1/3 of the game, why should they look like dolls?
You might want to edit your post. Lots of new players will be coming to t his and you shouldn't spoil them on what is one of the biggest twists in the game.
@ShinUltima eh, early players wouldn't come to a theory channel and specifically a video titled theories... Like literally who would look at this video especially.
I hope they dont connect it with the numbered entries, let X be its own universe/spin off of the series. I fear that the series' story will start getting messy trying to link everything. I even hope XC4 to be its own thing, let Klaus and the Conduit rest please lol.
I am SO friggin excited for this. This game is the only reason I kept my Wii U hooked up. The one thing I want more than anything is a way to mute Tatsu. He was without question the most annoying video game character I've ever encountered and if I go my whole life without hearing him again, it'll be too soon.
You got me with your theory - until you spoke about language. One of the first things scientists talked about (in the real world at least) while thinking about non earthlike life is language and communication. That's why voyager 1 got the golden record plate. That's why I think XCX is probably no simulation.
The black knight is Mwamba it just makes the most sense 🤔
"Somehow Mwamba returned".
MWAMMMMMBAAAAAAAA
Bro. Imagine. Xeno is already peak, but that’d go beyond.
Long ago, there was nothing but an endless sea, cloaked in a boundless sky, reaching as far as the eye could possibly imagine.
Then, two great titans came into existence. The Mwambionis, and the Mehmehchonis
I hope so
People claimed the ending was the biggest unexplained loose end.
I WANT MORE LORE ON THE OVAH. WHY ARE THE ORPHEANS RELATED TO TELETHIA. WHAT WAS THAT.
I want to know more about the J-bodies project and why is Eleonora and some unknown party creating what is essentially Androids. From Yelv quest line.
It would take time to find sources
Edit: Ghost entry on Xenoblade fandom wiki.

Crazy how much Elma looks like Alvis/A now
My theory is Elma is somehow the A version of Malos, and Malos is the black knight. They are setting up a Malos redemption arc for him. Ties back to Rex wondering what Malos would have been like if he was his driver.
@@MattBrake-l9d no
As a note on the outfit with a purple core for the datamined version of the black knight, it's an edited version of a pre-existing ingame armor set to have some elements (namely shoulder pads) removed.
@phillosmaster393 black hole
If true, would that be what the Vita draws power from? What would Samaarians be?
What’s an ark?
Finally, after over +2000 hrs on the original, I have this to look forward to. The og was my into to xenoblade and was easily one of my favorite games. Super bias and will admit nostalgic, but I still have a soft spot for this game. Still have my Wii U just for the original.

Oddest thing to me is the planet glowing in this trailer version, vs the original trailer on Wii U just switching scenes... Adjusting a cinematic cutscene is a lot bigger of a change then tweaking some dialogue.
tbh, I think it's just a trailer transition
@Bibbedibob it could be, but it seems odd that was the only thing they adjusted outside of the resolution increase and model changes, when it wasn't really a necessity. I think it'd be more understandable and believable if they had other post processing effects on the same level.
Since it's getting a remake, they could retcon the end of the game to make us realize that the planet did not explode; it disappeared into its pocket dimension, and the others were left here.
It is a remaster.
@FelixS. So wa Xenoblade DE, but they retconned Alvis to make him an aegis
@FelixS. I guess you won't be able to make that call until you know more! Get excited!!!
@@tallen3057 the retcon of Alvis being an aegis happened in 2 really, because he shares abilities with the other 2 along with Malos having a Monado also. DE just confirmed that retcon
My best guess in how they could tie this game into the trilogy is to retcon the destruction of earth and make it so the White Whale left earth just as the Klaus experiment was happening...whether they essentially crossed into a different dimension with Mira existing or happened to get there separately.
that doesn't make sense, as the society of Klaus was far more advanced than humanity in XCX
@Bibbedibob Like I said, potential retcon. Not saying it is definitely what they are doing, but they could very well retcon things to make it all match up.
Here's the thing
(& I sadly have yet to truly make it to the end of any Xenoblade game, but now have a VERY big Motivation to)
The Klaus Experiment seems to be a massive Dimensional, Space/Time Paradox of the "Chicken🐔 meets Egg🥚 meets Chicken🐔" kind
(Like an Auroborous, a Snake [ or in this case Dimensional Paradox ] eating it's Tail)
That basically, all the events of 1, 2, 2: Torna (possibly), 3, & X ALL happened nearly at the SAME time, from a stand-point of unabridged Real-time Earth Hours
That the Klaus Event happened both before & AFTER the intro of Xenoblade Chronicles X, both Causing AND Reacting TO the "Alien War" above Earth that destroyed it
That all these different things, like these Mimeosomes, Realians, Gnosis/Ghosts, etc are all both Symptoms of & born FROM that selfsame Dimensional Chicken/Egg Paradox
Atleast if you believe that whatever Energy that exists (that we refer to as Time) can flow Forward, Backward, AND Horizontally thru Outer Space & potential parallel Dimensions;
... Potentially creating an INFINITE number of Variations of Variations of Variations of "Reality"
Like the Theory called the "Multiple-String Theory", or the idea that every Decision you or any1 else makes, every single Action that affects ANYTHING else meaningfully, causes "ripples" or changes in the potential "Outcome" of an Event;
Remember, in XbC3 they called that world the Forever NOW, but if it's a Paradoxial plane, then for anything & every1 OUTSIDE that plane of existence, that entire "Forever NOW" was LITERALLY now, but for all of a few Earth-time seconds, not actual Millennia, even tho the Forever NOW lasted potentially FOREVER inside the Paradox Field
So it's ENTIRELY possible, that all 3 games are actually ALL within their own separate Paradoxial planes but, DIRECTLY connected because they all both are Symptoms OF, AND directly a PART of, said Chicken/Egg Paradox caused by Klaus' Misanthropic Experiment
So from a completely outside view, from LITERALLY OUTSIDE of the area of Space/Time affected by the Paradox, the ENTIRE Paradox happened say, Friday, but ENDED Wednesday, of the SAME WEEK, looping over & over & Over & OVER, until some1 (as that certain foul-mouthed smartass in XbC3 put it) untill some1 "Kills the NOW"
& Untill that happens, that Paradox will recreate ITSELF, INFINITELY
Btw, regarding Lin's hair pins. They were included in the trailer. They are on the right-hand side of her head.
@@KayJulers Yeah she definitely had two before!!
At first the lone hero should be you, the protagonist
I thought it was implied to be Doug for some reason.

I think that it will something like one extra chapter to tie things up instead of something like FC or Torna but who knows what Monolith is cooking.
@@renren47618 XCX has so much stuff left untreated I feel like there's no way to finish it all in a single chapter. Like half of the game is missing. It ends when the first real big twist happens.
5:13 gave me an OOBE there
[Ending spoilers below]
I really like that the color balancing is more in-line with the numbered games, it'll make the landscapes pop even more.
My theory:
The human society where Klaus is from are the Samaarians of X.
I have to agree. People keep trying to fit a square peg into a round hole and it's overall really frustrating.
yes, i don't want this Xenoblade just to be the same core story, i don't want this franchise to became like Trail franchise
@@pajmo09for me it was the best dlc and a huge homage to xc1. If you are a fan of 1, its worth it
I don't think the similarities between X and 3 are an indication that they are connected in any way.
@ 1:06
When was this I don't remember this scene?????
I think it's from the latest xenoblade anniversary celebration that fromsoft did,not a cutscene in any of the games
I could imagine we get like 3 to 5 additional chapters (based on level cap (60) raised to 99) and comparing the final boss level to the other games
THE END!
Seems plausible
But logos is a part of the machine which created the two worlds. It dont make sense he is existing a second time. Claus was the only being which existed in both worlds. Even alvis was only in 1
That's why the ending makes me get CURIOSITY!!
IM CRAVING FOR LIKE XENOBLADE CHRONICLES X 2 or something.
Personally, I prefer the Wii U faces, especially Elma's
That's totally fair!
What is that shot of all the Xeno protagonists at 1:14 from?
My theory, which I've had for years and will continue to support, is that Mira is the homeworld of the Saamarians who 'appeared' at the beginning of the universe. Of course, there's always the alternative theory, that Mira is an Origin, like the one from XC3, which originally contained the souls of humanity from the Xenosaga/Blade universe and was used by them, to escape the heat death of their universe and loop back around to the beginning (or to the beginning of a different universe) and become the Saamarians.
I hope we get some lore for the swamp area north of the forest. I don't remember if they ever explained it.
And the Other continents might be other worlds, but in the end I obviously dont really know.
i just wonder if data packs would be needed for this version too. cause those were pretty big like i needed an external hdd just for them.
Mira exists in the event horizon of a singularity, and the Xenoblade 1, 2 and 3 universe exists in that singularity as a product of Linly's mind.
Are you planning to release that one video you mentioned in December because the wind blows hard in December?
Yes! (but actually no :[ )
Spoilers: X is mentioned in it briefly. Unfortunately, it's the only entry that didn't follow the theme for the video.
Here's what I think:
What we want to see *Updated*
1: Boob slider uncensored well uncensored gameplay from the original Japanese version.
2: Better online mode with more exploration harder missions and larger exploration of maps' for online mode
3: Better inventory clutter fix, with previews of equipment on obtaining them, and previews in the menu of each item.
----------------------------------------
I ranked over 30,000 hours in this game.
Its confirmed (on nintendo website) that it is based on the western version. So unfortunaly no slider
@@mattgezockt2596 awww BOO! Square Enix are lolitas then sicko's lol
I hope they try to not just add a epiloque. I wish they would fill in gaps between chapters (even if thevreal story of x happens in its side quests)
The Part with the Light is the same in the OG, the Voice over is Form the Introduction for NLA
I still think the ghosts are replica Origins. There’s just too much overlap.
For one i am happy it's coming back i did a 100% 400h run back in 2015 and was sad it didn't sell well but as an old time fan & also newcomers, we really wanted this to come out so we can play this we've waited decades
it's something we really deserved it just isn't complete xenoblade switch collection without X.
Damn, that’s one of hell of a run. I respect that.
The black knight gave me strong testament vibes, dunno what that means but it's interesting to me none the less
Kayjulers, you are absolutely incredible! Every time you post, it feels like a gift, because you bring so much joy, creativity, and authenticity into everything you do. Your videos are always a mix of fun, warmth, and genuine connection, and I’m constantly blown away by how you manage to keep things so fresh and engaging. It’s amazing to watch you stay true to yourself while sharing such relatable and inspiring content-you make everyone feel seen and valued, and that’s truly special. Thank you for all the time, energy, and heart you put into creating a space that’s positive and uplifting. Your work makes such a difference, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll create next!
Lin still has a monado hairpin on the other side of her head.
I would guess some original details would be retconned to fit the whole "lets link all the xenoblade games together" conspiracy and I dont mind that at all.
I do hope there are *new recruitable party members, new skells and possibly some superbosses from the recent XC 2&3 games*
Maybe in the DLC but it's unlikely
Gonna play the old one on cemu to prep new class builds. I want to try 😂
Does this mean we'll see xenoblade X in the next xeno-lympics? there's probably some cool stuff you could do with skell races or something of the like.
Edit: Oops, you already covered that later in the video. Well, I'll be excited to see it!
We have a couple ideas to work with so far in X, so putting it on a console that most people have hooked up with definitely helps!
Xenoblade Chronicles X is still one of my favourite Games of all time. Never played the other Xenoblades (lol) but ofc I'm happy about the Definitive Edition
Now the Xenoblade Olympics can have a new game added
A kayJulers video on my timeline? What is this? 2010?
Think they already said it's based on the Western version of the game. So no boob slider and less revealing outfits for Lin.
Wait, he's a teacher?
I'm glad he's teaching the next generation about the glory of Xenoblade.
Nintendo knew Kay hadn't uploaded in awhile
It's been a while since I played X, was the whole imminent destruction of Earth that led to project exodus known to the general public? If not then it's possible it's the same as the one in future redeemed, only in that universe a certain someone destroyed Earth prematurely
Look like they will show you whom the Dark knight is this time.
I would reread the endbringer side quest that explains how the Telethia got in X’s world, assuming they don’t retcon it lol
I'll check that out later today!
I don’t like that the figure seems to be wearing a badic hoodie as opposed to their original outfit
7:59 Oh that's a simple one, Tatsu is just a common variety Nopon like Riku.
Just because the ships were intended for exploration doesn't mean they can't be repurposed for a global catastrophe
I just want all the mysteries they dropped in the story solved.
Someone do a vid on how to place the probes !!! I never understood that part 😭
I remember when the major twist got leaked. It was predictable, but still...
Takahashi has previously had a rough go with not getting to complete stories, so I'm glad he's getting every opportunity to do so now.
And I'm someone who bought a Wii U exclusively to play the original.
the monado hairpin is on the other side.
Maybe the switch 2 will also come out in 3/20/25
Kay we win, It feels unreal! xD
XCX is my 2nd favorite game of all time. It's totally my sort of game. I dont like any of the other XC games, so Im super excited for this DE!
Juju is the Black Knight.
He's tired of being trash and now is going to be the hardest Final Boss of all time.
My guess is that now the character standing over Lao is also Lao. Don't ask me how, just what my brain came up with.
Honestly, the thought did cross my mind when taking notes.
@@KayJulers I don't know why that just bubbled out of my brain, but when you pointed out the similarity of the pants/shoes and just what I know about the end of the game... Just suddenly that clicked in my head. Also makes the line he says extra funny.
I think Takahashi is going to cook with some major retcons. How much does and doesn't get retconned and in what way is the real question.
@@badlatency9979Xenosaga isn't truly connected so far, in fact as much as i want Xenosaga to be canon i think that is more likely that the next Xenoblade game will have a Uzuki protagonist and KOS MOS alongside other stuff from Saga but unrelated to the old games, it's way easier to do that and tie X instead of tying both games
But who knows what Takahashi is thinking and i think that he could very well don't truly care about these sort of details, especially considering how huge the Xeno universe is but that's more of a copium take.
1 had future connected
2 had the little bonus area with shulk fiora and Elma
And 3 had allllot of dlc.
(purely based on XB 1-3) Spoilers
When Rex and co meet with the Architect, Klaus mentions that his world, was not the only one to exist, and that "Endless universes coexist, side by side" and that the Conduit was the link to these foreign worlds... Purely based on this, and all the evidence I've heard which supports the Xenosaga and Xenoblade 1-3 potential relation, I would like to think that the Earth of XBX is a parallel earth to Klaus' and that the stories, once again, are moving side by side
I am unaware of how fast or slow time flows in the pocket dimensions of XB1 and XB2. Based on how Klaus and Alvis speak, it's clear that both are evolving and growing at a similar rate, but, how does that translates to the world where the original XB earth was? Is time stopped? Does it still flow, but at a slower pace?
At the end of Future Connected, we two interesting things, Telethia flying into the Rift, which allows Shulk and co to deal with the Fog King, but we don't know if these telethia simply perished, or went sent to other worlds
Since we don't know exactly what was going on in Alrest's world at the time, we don't know if Rex and co had to face Fog beast representations of Telethia (Maybe?) (haven't read the books that were released with the games, in case that is said in any of those)
What if one of those Telethia traveled through the Rift into the world of Mira?
[Spoilers for Xenoblade X, 2, and 3]
I immediately thought, "That sounds like Malos," which either means it's Malos, Logos, or another new sub-personality of Logos.
In the japanses trailer the voiceline doesn't sound like Malos' Japanese VA.
Doesn't sound like David Menkin or Yuichi Nakamura to me. I'm not completely sure, but he sounded like Shuhei Sakaguchi (Biggs in FF7 media)
And the black knight was at first the overarching enemy of x until it was scraped (x was almost out when they started the development for 2)
Could be fun if it's Logos (even if it's not David Menkin it could still be a new personality) considering the scene with Lao resembles how Rex met Pyra and how Shulk met Alvis. The "Black Knight" seems to know Lao and they're alone together, I think it's neat, it has the same aura (kinda)
They will tie X totally to the original triology for sure. Can’t f… wait dam.
X-2 will come for sure also. XC4 could tie them all together also
They should have kept the doll-like look, as it fit the fact that they are robots theme!
So character in Xenosaga also a robots? cause they are look a like
You might want to edit your post.
