Had this darn curse for 6 years. Went away within 6 months after I cut out bread and sugar. I never really cared for milk or ate alot of cheese but I assume it would be wise to lower portions or cut it out all together. For those of you who feel hopeless, it worked for me. I missed out on so much in my late 20s dealing with this. You really have to choose between your health and your cravings

It turned out that my son cannot tolerate foods such as Hazelnut Oil, Gluten, and Cow's milk. Food allergy and tolerance are different issues. That's why we couldn't find a doctor who could understand us. We looked for a solution ourselves. Infection field doctors are needed. Don't worry, it just takes time and you get better.

I've suffered with this condition in my groin area for over 20 years. Before it even had a name. It has gotten worse with age. The only thing that's ever worked to relieve the pain is surgery to remove the affected area. It always comes back and the time in between flares gets less and less as I grow older. I've had 2 surgeries in the last 4 months. Healing is slow.

Find the closest Dr to you that has a Yag laser. This actually worked really well for me. I was getting cut on all the time too and that's no way to live. Either way get in contact with Dr. Iltefat H Hamzavi he's at Henry Ford hospital in Detroit Michigan. I drove 10 hours to see him because he's the most knowledgeable Dr out there for HS and Dissecting Scalp Cellulitis.
There's also a way to really reduce the spots and that's to quit smoking and start on the carnivore diet, slowly adding things back into your diet to see what foods trigger it in you. Dairy really makes my condition worse.

Ok so medical talc on amazon helps another for under the breasts. Sure cream rub on deodorant the pink one does leave white marks on clothes but is the BEST I've found that doesn't cause flare ups and no sweat! Now I suffer horrendously on my thighs and bum and am scarred massively. I'm on 4 antibiotics a day and 4 diuretics a day to help which is does help! However I'm having massive flare ups at this moment in time and Jesus I'm struggling. In and out of hospital and NHS will only do a major surgery on them now rather than just lance them unfortunately and I can't keep having the surgery as the recovery is horrible and I get so many that they'd always be operating on. Noone in my family has it but they don't have PCOS or stage 4 endometriosis either but I'm sure they're linked to the HS. I've found that putting some magnesium sulphate paste on a boil that won't surface followed by a dressing over the top will help drawer it out but be careful and check it after 24 hours of being on! Hope this helps. ❤

@@DrMudgil Well you obviously haven't done much research. Diet change has helped lots of people go into remission. Cutting out processed rubbish is always a good start to helping with ones health. Every human is different so there's no definite answer for what diet cures HS. You have to do your own due diligence and find out for yourself what causes your flare ups. Better than taking pills/antibiotics and weaking your immune system.
