Thorns & Roses 3 string resonator guitar

Here's a guitar just completed for a customer. Acoustically its quite loud, and when plugged you still get a lot of that resophonic tone.

I am that customer. I've had this instrument for just over a week now. It's my third one by John now, and I love it. Plays beautifully, makes even me sound half decent occasionally. The almost banjoey sound is great. Action and intonation perfect as delivered. John is a genius, and Anne does the most amazing artwork. Anyone considering a cigar box guitar, have a word with John. No, I'm not on the payroll. But you'd be hard pushed to find anyone better at their craft. Thank you John & Anne. At almost 78 I don't know how long I'll keep going, but hopefully a while yet and I have a feeling this may not be my last Chickenbone John CBG.
