I was thinking about Fieldy the other day. I would really love to see him back out there with the boys but look I know he needs to do what he needs to do. Prayers and love from Ireland. I just hope he is doing good.
"he needs to do what he needs to do" haha yes, and what he needs to do is get sober and come back to Korn!
How i love BRIAN and RAY!
Korn has managed to evolve and stay contemporary!
@SkyNet General says who?
Skynet General The Korn sound is made by all of them. It would be a hit to lose Fieldy for sure, but they major Korn sound would still be there. I hope Fieldy comes back regardless though
@SkyNet General I respect your opinion, but I disagree. They definitely aren't the same as they were 25 years ago, but I still enjoy their music.
@SkyNet General tool?? Lol. Does put out trash.. AIC are definitely not the same. And primus..? I had no clue they still a thing? Lol..
@SkyNet General yea.. i can't stand tool. Their music all sounds the same. Sounds like music from a jungle book soundtrack.. hahaha. Idk? Primus, i haven't heard anything from them since the Charley and the chocolate factory.. lol. Enough said.. w them. AIC i saw them live w korn. They were fine. Im just not into the whole grunge thing.. personally.. they really good live forsure! I can't wait to see mudvayne in july.. looking forward to that.
Need fieldy back nothing compares to his base style that’s KoЯn
Just saw the guy they have now it's still the same
@@macnason9707 not original. Friendship amd humans mean nothing. Like saying I like you for your money flexer
How did u get the backwards 'R' ?
@@dwade6322 it’s a Russian keyboard i believe

Brian Welch is awesome👍 the whole group is great
I just love that we are still getting Korn touring and putting out music. I remember the first time I heard them around 1996. They are one of the bands I just can listen to their music all day
The redemption story that a few of the Korn members have encountered is awesome. Heads book was fantastic. I could not out it down….
Head has always been my favorite member. Such a cool dude
I was there and saw them at the festival! One of the best concerts I've been to, I had so much fun! One guy even proposed to his girlfriend after they had played Blind. Everyone was great, but i missed seeing Fieldy:(
“Fieldy IT’S TIME to come back to work bro” I was saddened that I didn’t see you in Tampa last August with Staind, can’t wait to see you bro
Korn is due for a canadian tour!! The canucks miss you!!!
That's kinda hard with how stupid Canada's leader is. USA bands won't really be around Canada much for awhile.
Are you sure your dictator is going to allow it?
@@kskip4242 lol. Game over for Canada!
@@lifeintornadoalley for sure and sadly I think they're going to try the same thing here.
Im seeing them in august cant wait!
YES!!!!!!!
🤘🏼Fucking KORN!!!! 🤘🏼 👊🏼
That's cool they live in Tennessee!!!I'm sure it's Nashville...I'm from Memphis TN.originally so right on.🤘😋👍
Fuckin miss Fieldy hey... Boy needs to come back.
i miss him so bad
Got to see them, Staind, and Limp Bizkit in the last year. Going to see Rammstein this September.
Wow
What a line up
I got to see Korn, Helmet, Staind, and Evanescence in the last year or so.
Good job
The fill in base player has been doing good but we need fieldy back hes the original base guitar for korn!
Fieldy is looking fine in Stillwell, the other band he is active now. It's kinda weird tho. Whats the problem actually? There must be quarrel between Fieldy and Korn...
He started abusing alcohol again like he was back in the late 90s. Management team approached him and told him it'd be in his best interest if he took a break from the band.
I love you Brian Philip Welch you are my soulmate baby forever amen
he's taken
God enjoy together not men can’t separated them in Jesus Christ name amen thank you Jesus Christ hallelujah
@@analicon59 wha?
The devil is a lair
@@analicon59 YEAH
Looking at it from that angle, you can easily understand the origin of Brian Welch's alias.
Hope Fieldy is coming back soon. I wonder what the issue is, drugs? That new dude is even shorter than Fieldy lol but very energetic
Yeah I reckon it's drugs unfortunately :(
@@Brodzzzzz it's not drugs, he just has a bit of a drinking problem (bud lights so not even anything hard) and he wants to spend more time with his family and get rid of the bad habit. Sounds like it's not even at a real addiction level yet he's just nipping it in the bud (lol pun)
@@reddillon8425 Nah, it became a serious problem. Korns management team told him it'd be a good idea if he took a break from the band. You know it had to be serious because losing Fieldy is an upset to many fans (although I've seen them live a few times with Diaz on bass and they sounded amazing, and the crowds were huge so they're not hurting that bad I guess)
@reddillon8425 it's meth. Look at how much weight he lost.
Heard this radio guy but don’t remember seeing he’s face lol
We need new energy from the interviewers they might be good people but they kill the vibe the band is so much bigger then you know could atleast be excited , give me a job this was flat... korn funny and awsome as always ❤
You kill the vibe when you act like the biggest fanboy in front of your favorite musicians. Those guys are rolling their eyes at that shit, which they run into every day. A guy who's actually chill about stuff is 100% a breath of fresh air.
Fieldy 6:20
It's the late '80s all over again: big band, big stage, big lights, big circus. Hair metal. What's next? Something real. Like Nirvana...
they should get together with Fieldy, he's the bassist for their band. lol?
Has issues with abusing alcohol. Management team told him it'd be best if he took a break from the band.
Korn wasn't Korn without Head and it would be like that if Fieldy doesn't return. He has to do what is right for him and his family.
He has to get sober and stop abusing alcohol. Management team are the ones who approached him about taking a break. It's still Korn without Reginald, I just saw them last year and they absolutely destroyed the opening bands (Helmet and Evanescence) Ra is a better bass player than Reginald any day of the week! Look up his RUSH covers he did on UA-cam with Charlie from Anthrax. Ra might not play Korn songs as good as Fieldy but he is definitely a better bass player if we're talking technical skills. With that said I would love to hear a Korn album with Ra on bass!!
The fact that he is playing w that shitti band stillwell pisses me off. They all have side projects so there's time for that. If he thinks Korn won't move on......he should ask David.
@@gerrypiazza8293 good point
head is god
ARCH ENEMY = fired.
Ok fieldy we hope your ok but as fans we want to know if your planning to come back and given a new album is due to come soon its a bit of an elephant in the room now
He's using meth again. He's out for good.
Come on guys....you record 17 songs!!!! And only put 9 in the album??? Come on man
That Korn drummer had a haircut a year ago.
I don't want to come across like I am wishing bad on anyone, but Korn would probably be a better band without Fieldy. I don't wish hard times upon anyone, but they sound better right now with the fill-in player. Remember how good they sounded when Ryan Martinie was filling in for him a few years ago? He is a freak musician..and like Ray Luzier, almost too good to be in Korn.
They need Fieldy. They need to keep the core members and they just flow to great together
By that measure then just replace the whole band. There's always someone 'better' to replace you. But that's not really the point.
Well that's an absurd comment if I've ever seen one lol. I've always thought Fieldy was one of the best bassists out there.
You don’t know anything about Korn then. I have seen them live many times since the 90’s. They need each other. It’s the energy they feed off of
we get it, you're not a musician
you're a guitar hero player obsessed with beating the hardest difficulty, lol.
𝓅𝓇𝑜𝓂𝑜𝓈𝓂 ✌️
Evanescence is hot garbage
It's all business. It draws a larger young crowd. Pretty sure korn don't listen to their hack music.
@@ted__ryan That's the one thing I can knit pick about Korn. they tour with some boring bands sometimes.
Is this really the best Kerrang can offer when it comes to interviewers. Poor at best, Korn deserve better
What's fieldy on heroin is that problem that nobody's talking about??.
Or meth
@@Jeffmacaroni1542 when I saw him along time ago on south beach I went to say hi to him and he was getting a homeless guy to take him our hood, called over town, to get drugs, I've seen it before with Anthony from chilli pepper too, they don't have any connections lol, first thing they do is find a black dude 😎 hit the hood. I think he's been battling drug a long time because I saw him 10 yrs ago.
@@KENNA5081 How to find drugs, Find a homeless person and bingo.
The interviewer sounded so lazy when talking no energy. I was falling asleep hearing him talk.
Yeah, lazy or drunk or both at the same time. lol
Just English fella being laid back
@@richardrichard5680 idk he sounded so lazy
No, he had a bender with a couple of strippers and had to get up and do this fucking interview! That's the vibe I got.
They’re not going to have that bass player back.
Why do you say that? Reggie has been through so much though with the band, even if he didn't ever come back he will always be a legend! There might be bass players out there better than Reggie but no other bass player can bring the same level of drive and passion that he brings to the table! It's in Reggie's blood, he understands Korn on a level that no other bass player truly can.
@@leadme2thebliss21 Amen brother!
@SkyNet General I agree. If Fieldy's gone for good then it's time for the whole band to finally just retire. I want them to be happy though, so whatever makes them happy and growing as people.
@@neilabel1711 retire??? Lmao seen them lately??? Dudes ripped the stage a new asshole at LTL last September, and while John AND Munky were recovering from a bout with covid! They were showing its strain on them, but went on stage anyway. And man they delivered!! More talent now than ever.
Fieldy will be back. He’s already got a new thing going with his other band so he will likely be back soon.
Rays personality has never fit in with munky & head.
I think they like his calm energy. They wouldn't have made him a permanent member if they thought he didn't fit in the band.
@@MayJade001 Chill and Laid back, but my god he’s a monster on the Drums
Honestly.. I fucking hate Ray's style of Drumming for Korn.. Not saying he's a bad drummer, Coz he is a fucking great drummer but for the style of Korn.. No fucking way, Hit's way to many drums and cymbals it just sounds like he's packing it ALL IN for every song and it just sounds all over the place with no rhythm
@@MayJade001 David had calm energy too, overall. Also David had short hair for most of his career with KoRn as well, so they are used to having a drummer with calm energy who doesn't speak as much as they do in interviews.
Korn is not good at picking songs for their albums. They have left some great song off records. But thank God for the internet
Drummer your lucky too play whith those guys,David will Phuc you up, in a drum off. I watched these guys play on Leonord st. In Bako
David lost most of his chops.
David hasn't been part of Korn, or relevant, in over a decade. Get over it dude.
@@eriksand9262 ok thank you
@@Nestorglass ok thank you
Ray is one of the best drummers in the world dude. I love David, he is one of my favorite drummers ever but Ray is a master drummer. He can compete with any and I mean any drummer. Just watch some of his stuff
KoRn is my all-time favorite band but they really need to hang it up. They sound slow, old, and Ray never had the feel that David had. Plus, they don't have that boom power in their sound anymore, Sounds tired and draggy. Watch a show from 98 -2004 and you'll see it plain as day.
Yeah 14 albums. How many more albums does a band need. And why is David not back. He wants to be back.
Put the pipe down...Just seen them and it was as good as it was in the 90's...Let me guess , you're on the Ghost train or some other today shit band.
when 98% of the songs you write now are verse, melodic chorus, verse, melodic chorus, bridge, melodic chorus....you're going thru the motions, Ray. Sorry
I hope Fieldy never comes back or the whole band but Ray will mess with coke and turn to metheads again.
🤣🤣🤣 Fieldy sounds like a bad influence
Dayum haha
Dumbest comment I read in a while 😭
