Sweet! And that's pretty rare to see from a major company. All those glass imperfections. Someone was asleep in the quality control department that day. If this would had been caught it wouldn't have left the factory in one piece.
I've still got a couple of old british made philips heat lamps, 220-240v & used in the old bathroom light before central heating went in... took the chill off the air, had a proper philips metal shade fitting, summer months they brought on a sweat... we don't have specific heat lamp sockets in the UK... we had the pendant fitting with the heat bulb and that was it. They can be dimmed with a strong enough dimmer, the 400w remote control touch plate electronic dimmer I had in the bedroom in 1988 could handle a 250w heat lamp.
I was wondering, what is the best case for these 150W+ heating bulbs, for home use. So it doesn't dangle like a rock in a string, or burn the plastic around conventional study light? They can say oem this or that is ok, but if I smell plastic, then clearly it's not. Cheers
Haha, complete opposite :) Point a few at your body and lay down, pretend you're near the pool 😄 i always thought that would be pretty life like once your eyes are closed.
I went on vacation to Australia a few years ago and these bulbs seem to be standard in home bathrooms there.
These are great if you have a solar generator and the power goes out in the winter. Quick warm up
This lamp was made September 2015.

Ok
Indeed, I will put it to use and see how long it will last. It'll be interesting to see if the imperfections will shorten the life at all?

These were common in older hotels and motels along with some home bathrooms back in the day.

The fixtures for these usually have cooling fans. And these do go in special fixtures.
definitively not a led , nice little candle to warm up the room a tiny bit
