LOLOL!!! Use the room for what is was intended, love it!! Pet peeve- people taking food or drink outside of the kitchen.
Something I heard years ago and often repeat..."Confucius say, Man who eat cookie in bed have very crumby night". 😂😂😂😂

Can you create a Playlist of these series, please? It would be easier to watch if they were all together. Thanks!

This video reminded me of a joke I heard once. What does a teenager's bedroom and IKEA have in common? You go in, just to have a look around. You come out with 6 plates, 4 cups, and a set of spoons!😂😂😂

This is true. I was told to train my children from a very young age to eat in the kitchen. They were only allowed go drink water in the car. People thought I was too strict. I have some carpet from 1987 that is not stained because of that. My car is from 2009 and immaculate.
I also change out of my work clothes as soon as I get home. I use an apron. I have old clothing and sneakers for gardening and painting.
When you take care of things they last longer.
My children are grown and gone. My daughter has a no-shoes policy in her home, which I adapted for myself and my husband, but not for guests.

Oh my gosh... no popcorn watching a movie? No ice cream while reading a book? Now Tawra - you are already torturing me by having me make my bed every morning....LOL My dining room table is covered with sewing stuff that I need to put away so I'll have to continue to eat on my family room TV tray. But, I do clean up after myself and I don't spill stuff. :-) And actually I love the fact that the bed is made every day - so it is only a minute of torture every morning.

Constant battle with my grown kids as well as my niece and nephew I care for. My kids were never allowed to roam around and eat and now as grown older teens and 20 something it's a constant power struggle. It'd be ok if they cleaned up their own mess. But they dont... I can barely get them to load the dishwasher, again something they grew up doing. Totally ridiculous. I'm gone alot so it's not like I'm here to police it. And I didn't do it lives here too.

Tawra or Jill, Can you tell me the best way to get rid of my mail with 1. my name & address only on the mail? 2. How to get rid of credit card applications. We get a lot of these? 3. What to do with old bills? How do you handle these 3 situations? My husband's says I am to concerned about this and just trash it all. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your input on this! Thank you and I Love your channels!

We shred anything with things like our SS number on it but everything else with our name and address just goes in the trash. I tear up CC applications and put them in there. I don't worry about the name and address. They can get that in 2 secs. on the internet.

Call all the companies you do business with - banks, insurance, cable, utilities, cell phone, every credit card company and tell them you want to opt-out. You should be getting privacy notices from all those businesses once a year. When the law passed about 20 or so years ago that allowed all of our information to be sold - congress made them allow us to opt out. You will still get some stuff in the mail, but I never get credit card approvals any more. I had to do my own opt-out and did my parents as well. Now I get Occupant from Chase bank.... ugh. Google 'how to stop credit card offers" - it'll take you to the FTC web page. Good luck.

Our 8yo daughter accidental spilled flavored (RED) water on the bedroom carpet. Luckily it came out and YES she did help clean it up. From now on she is only allowed to drink and eat at the kitchen table. If she wants to drink in another room she can ONLY drink PLAIN water. If this rule is violated she losses electronics. It works for us and conquence is enough that I'm sure she won't do it again.

After I had milk spilled on the carpet by the oldest grand - that was it!!! Anything other than water could be on the kitchen counter or the dining room table. Both grands drank mostly water so they both adhered to the rule. The great grand does pretty good, he is a little bit OCD. And now there are sippy cups - great invention.
