I'm so glad I found this video. We just bought our 1st place and there isn't a hall closet to hang all my kids bookbags and coats up. How did you get the board to stay up on the wall, did you have to use those drywall things that go in before the screw? Love the idea about the baby pics, so cute :)

I Love it and have something similar. My entry way looks like a "padded room". :) We need more than one coat per person here in Michigan. We have a working out in the garage/chores coat for 40 degree weather AND other type coats for below 30 degree weather. We have overalls for snow plowing and shoveling. We have a running to town coat and sunday/dressier/college coats. We have so many coats but they're all needed! I would love a special hook just for my purse. That would make me soooo happy:). Maybe when all the kids move out? There were 10 of us, now just 6 of us. My husband wants it all to go! I don't see how it's possible. Thanks for the inspiration!

You can do same with shoes...get some racks with hooks that will hold shoe...gets shoes off floor, out of the way and looks neat.

I search UA-cam for super cheap ideas, but most ppl seem to think that a closet remake for ONLY $100 is cheap! That's great for them and I DO enjoy those videos and, while they are fun to watch, I cannot relate! No.....I need CHEAP! TFS...Had to sub on this one!!

+Kelbel bell Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to uncover declutter business try Stiklind Fast Declutter Fixer (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my mate got cool results with it.
Love the Hobby Lobby plug as it just came to our town. I am gonna look for their clearance section for these great hooks. But, the shoes and plastic bags are just too cluttered for me. A view from your couch, ect. puts in perspective how these drop spots really work, or don't, for the aesthetic of the home.
We each have 2 hooks in the entry way. We are allowed to keep our bag and no more than 2 coats of jackets on the hooks. The rest of our coats and jackets go in the coat closet and we change them out as needed depending on the weather.
+vida130 Yeah that's pretty much our policy too! Our big problem is shoes. Everyone takes off their shoes but sometimes each person will get 3 pairs of shoes and then we have to go on a shoe dump! :-)

It is a great one of a kind product for decluttering your home minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my best friend Jordan got cool results with it.

Hi love this idea. We don't have an entry way in our mobile home but we do have an "area" in the living room that's a total mess. I love this idea and think it'll work on some wall space. I was wondering if it's possible to get the length and width of the two pieces of wood you have used that hold the hooks. Thanks so much. I just subscribe to your videos.

Well done ! Many years ago (30+) I moved cross country to CA and lived in a studio apartment and was able to do that too. Fortunately my brother had friends who were having a sale of home items, and I got to go a day early to buy things I needed at rock bottom prices, and they would just give me things for free... my favorite word :) I bought my furniture from another friend of his that was a total of $150. I still to this day furnish my larger home "on a dime" with many really nice things I got for free . It can be done :) I enjoy your videos :) Thanks for responding Have a great day !

great ideas. in Seattle we don't have entry in newer homes. I myself love older homes. we need more then 1 coat. due to different types of rain. with or with out wind, or snow, etc. looking forward to see more of your house.
