Funny story about bathroom and cleaning supplies. I bought a glass cleaner on sale at Target. I used it in my master bath and happened to leave it out. A couple days later, my husband announced he had cleaned the mirror! He hasn't cleaned a bathroom mirror in 27 years. I have decided to leave the cleaner on the counter. He has used it again!! It is a huge mirror and it's really helpful to get it cleaned by someone that can reach it. It's a cleaning miracle.
Such great advise !!! Keeping the bathroom supplies under the sink makes quick clean up super easy when you just need to do a touch up . I keep scissors everywhere. In my dresser with my make up .. in the bathroom.. with my stationary ... in the garage for my cats supplies..as I am tired of breaking my nails . They are ones I had or I got them cheaply for $1 at Target
Great advice!! I’m working on it. The other day I purchased a second roll of packing tape since I couldn’t find the one I purchased a few days earlier.......only to discover it was in the box I going to send out!!! 😏
My grandmother's favorite housekeeping advice - "A place for everything and everything in it's place." I have a very tiny kitchen - the pantry, the mixer, the utensils, the oven and the counter - are all within about 4 feet of each other. All the ingredients are in the pantry - the mixer and the measuring spoons and cups are right across from the pantry. I don't have room for putting things together that go together - but I don't need to. It's all right there in my tiny kitchen. Cleaning supplies - in each bathroom and under the sink is so much more convenient!
So logical! My kitchen has a pantry on one side so I have been putting my flour & coffee in there! My kitchen is not big, but I can see it would be much easier to have a flour canister by the bowls and the fridge!
It's called 'the working triangle.' The guy who designed our kitchen used the working triangle theory to design where everything went after asking us about our lifestyle . I find everything is at arms reach when cooking, and dishwasher and sink are also within this triangle .
I never had a place for hanging coats in this house. I always wanted a coat tree, but never got one. We have been here for 18 years. The other day I was walking down the stairs and my eyes fell on the decorative "post" on the wall in the foyer. I had a "duh" moment! That post would be the perfect place to add some nice hooks to for coats! Only took me 18 years to figure it out! :(

Like The Konmari method, Everything has its own place 😀⭐✨🌟💛
I’m still in the process of giving everything a proper place, especially for the kitchen and making sure where I put those things makes sense!

I grew up hearing, " A place for everything and everything in it's place ". You follow that old saying and you'll be organized and clutter free! 😁

My sinkhole: things I need to do something with (out of sight out of mind type) or things that are coming in new (and therefore homeless). Any tips?
What's with the thumbnail pics?😂
