This is incredible.
First off: Tool Assisted Speedrun does not imply cheating. The player slowed down the game while recording a demo that tracked the actions he made, as well as used several savestates in case he didn't get something right the first time. Then, once finished with his demos, the player replayed the demos at full speed, and recorded that.
Now if any of you are still willing to argue that this is cheating, I fully expect you to show me an aimbot that can target guns, shoot dropped Superdragons, and draw letters (like at 16:30). There is no such aimbot.

I'm not sure how a tool assisted speedrun wouldn't be cheating. You slow down the game so you have more reaction time and use save functions that don't exist in the game. Also there's the fact that there is a cheat within the game that makes everything slow motion. If this were a legit good speedrun, it would be on SDA.

This is the Best FPS for the N64! It has the best multiplayer! You can customize characters,weapons,game match,simulants,music!!! This game never gets old!

Technical complainments:
1. This is not really a speed run. It is a TAS (Tool-Assisted Speedrun). Those are two completely different categories, as TAS let you perform actions that can only be performed by a bot (frame-perfect actions such as 100% accuracy and ultra-fast menu navigations). Also, it allows the use of savestates.
2. The video starts before the game starts (Skips the main menu, the intro, etc). The run is invalidated, as the time would be inaccurate. At least in the Speed run category. Both video and timer must start at the exact moment you start a new game. This also is usefull to show your game setup before starting it (difficulty settings, etc).
I think Perfect Dark runs are commonly timed with the in-game level timer. That's why the transition between levels is being edited out (it doesn't affect the time being measured) and why the game is paused during dialogue (the dialogue finishes without increasing game time).
But yeah, all of that should be clarified in the title and description. Especially the TAS part.
Imagine being one of those security guards standing watch then suddenly, you see your body on the ground and you wonder how you ended up dead so quickly. 😂
Reading comprehension is also a skill--it's how one learns to understand when someone writes that they enjoy watching players use skill AS WELL AS watching players construct Tool-Assisted Runs.

I think it is generally excepted that most speed runs are done on emulators with save states and run at slower speeds and god knows whatever other tools are in emulators these days. Still it's cool to watch especially when these games use to annoy the crap out of me at times!
This is definitely Tool-Assisted, but I don't think that diminishes it in anyway.
