His father Vernon thought Elvis would drive them into the poor house because of his massive spending habits. Elvis was taking care of too many people to escape & he didnt want to anyway. Elvis loved being Elvis, but as his health declined, he couldnt go on. Poor Elvis was carrying a cement type blockage in the intestine for months. SAD. Priscilla did not "miss out" on her teenage years. He left her in Germany when she was 14. She came to visit him when she was 16. She did not move to Memphis until she was 17 years and 3 months old. In the gaps, she was living in Germany, dating just like any other teenager, going steady with at least one guy. The "I missed my teenage years" is more of Priscilla's "oh poor me, his victim" routine and one of her lame excuses for leaving him.

I agree with much of what you wrote, except that she also had good reason for leaving him, not the least of which is that he had reportedly asked her for a separation when she was 7 months pregnant. He also had an aversion to having sex with any woman after she had given birth, so he pretty much been ignoring her as his wife, while also cheating on her repeatedly.

They were always there with Elvis, during his movie and concert career. Elvis loved them and they loved him. They lived on the grounds of Graceland and their boys are Lisa’s cousin snd used to play with Lisa. Billy is a sweet, funny and loveable man and Jo his wife is incredible. They tell about the experiences snd memories of always being there with Elvis. It is so personal and you find out so much about Elvis as a person. I just subscribed a few months ago myself. I only started watching UA-cam in the past year or so. Anyway, there memories of Elvis are so sincere. They have new videos every week. Nice people. I guess they have been doing this for four years or so now on UA-cam. I have been trying to play catch up with their videos. One of my faves is when they tell of the day that Elvis went to the pet store to buy a puppy for Lisa. The other is when they went Christmas Carolling with Elvis on his tractor to homes around Graceland. Good times

True. I think they got Lisa confused with Priscilla. This was the first time I ever heard of Lisa having cosmetic surgery. It is well known that Priscilla ruined her face when she had surgery performed by a quack doctor who used an industrial product that ruined her face. She has had additional surgery to correct it but there was only so much they could do and although she looks better, she still doesn't even resemble her pre-surgery self.

I would be more inclined to believe more of what Pricilla spoke about. However, she had a daughter to raise and wanted to make sure Lisa Marie would never do without. As I have always been aware of how Elvis was prescribed many prescription of drugs, and this was his downfall, It was money making for the doctor who served Elvis I was also on one of the drugs Elvis was on called Activan, and it was very addictive, one you started taking it, you could not stop, because the side effect kicked in and you felt far worse than before you took them, I know because I was put on these by my local Surgery doctor, and about 6 months I knew they were causing really horrible side effects, reducing them made it far worse, but I never gave up, and keep cutting them up in small pieces and gradually taking far less, I got clean of the addiction but it was a horrible experience. But Elvis placed all his trust in his private doctor and used Activan for relaxing his mind and body. But paid a big price for it. He died in his bathroom after getting up in the night, How many pills he was taking I do not know but they were part of the cause of his death without a doubt and he was only 42 years old. He was an Icon, and will always be missed, there will never be another Elvis.

Ginger was also fully dressed with makeup on when the squad arrived. Elvis was also WIPED OUT of a spare jewelry box he kept tons of gold, diamonds & precious stones as future gifts to people he cared about Ginger came down the stairs with a small white pocketbook STUFFED to the seams. As the years passed, some of the MM saw that Ginger had over a 250 thousand dollars of Jewelry that Elvis never gave her! That about 2 million dollars today! Ginger waited until most of the MM were dead before going public again. Another thing..How did a man have sex with 20 pounds of cement & crap pugging his intestine?

I grew up with my parents, my Mum was a fanatical Elvis fan and she just loved him ❤ 💕 so much since she heard his music 🎶 at 14 years old and she played Elvis's record's everyday and she was totally devastated when she learned of his passing and she never liked his ex~wife. This Elvis movie I think cemented his legacy for decades into the future just as it did when he emerged in 1954. He has a whole new younger group of fans. He's the King without a doubt. And he wondered if anyone would remember him. :-( I do think Baz Lurhman may have something else he will do on Elvis. He talked about a play, but Priscilla's movie did not help Elvis' image. Baz is such a fan of Elvis he may do something else.

Everyone so concerned about letting Elvis rest, to leave him alone when it comes to any sort of negativity brought up about his life. While (all if not at least part of) this information puts light on his humanity, his down falls, imperfections, what made him human. The side of Elvis that makes him like us, the side we wish there could have been something done to save him. While sadly, only Elvis could have saved himself, not the fame, the money, family. The irony to it all, his loneliness in life, his search/questions in spirituality when he came from such deep religious roots, the womanizing, etc. Makes it all that much more intriguing to keep digging to learn more. The dirty side of Elvis is just as captivating as the good.
