That beautiful song was written by Marty Robbins. Anyone who has half a brain would know that Marty wrote You Gave Me a Mountain. Absolutely amazing Elvis only wrote 2 lousy co-writes. Marty wrote over 200 great songs by himself.

I’ve been an Elvis fan for more then 55yrs.
Elvis to say the least was a complicated man.
He no doubt had a faith in God and explored many spiritual avenues and had a sense of spirituality.
However he also had a strong pull towards women, drugs, and rock and roll. I believe he was a tortured soul
internally and struggled much with it throughout his fame.
His unbelievable stardom and excess to all human vices would be hard for any man or women to resist.
Regarding Pricilla I believe he truly loved her but struggled with his demons as well which got the better of him. I truly believe he would of been a different person had not the fame and success become such a big part of his life.
There is a certain sadness in that for all the joy he brought us in his music and film, we were truly blessed and entertained by perhaps the greatest singer to have ever lived only for him to pay the greatest price, the loss of his life. 😢

Priscilla tells all these stories and that’s just her version. The housekeeper that was Gladys friend caught Elvis crying she said Elvis didn’t want to marry Priscilla she asked him why he didn't just cancel it if it was making him so unhappy and he apparently replied, I don't have a choice.
Elvis made the promise to Priscilla’s stepdad to marry and than the social pressures of an unmarried couple living together.
No one really knows what goes on behind closed doors. Elvis gave so much of his money away he loved giving friends and family gifts so many wonderful stories of Elvis in his loving and giving nature. The sad part is how many people actually used Elvis I mean if you hear a negative story after Elvis died I can guarantee this is not a loyal friend or lover.
Lisa Marie on the other hand devoted her whole life in keeping her dads legacy alive in away her dad would be proud.
While all these others are writing their books and having movies made Lisa was loyal to her dad that’s why with this last movie she said finally a movie that captures her dad in away that would make him proud. Priscilla isn’t even a Presley she took the name back after Elvis died because she knew there was money attached to it.

I think Priscilla knew about the change in the will she just didn’t expect Lisa to pass before she did but from what I read Priscilla has been receiving 900,000 a month from Graceland.
Lisa wanted to make sure her children inherited Graceland I’m sure she’s talked to Riley about it. It’s sad a little over a week after Lisa’s death and Priscilla’s fighting over Graceland while Riley is grieving not only the death of her brother but now her mom.
For Priscilla to purposely hurt Riley is just wrong Lisa hasn’t talked to Priscilla in 8 years they only seen each other when they were forced to.

Elvis wanted lisa to have Graceland and lisa said in many interviews that when she passes her children will inherit Graceland Lisa would be so upset that her moms doing this to her children. Cuz I have other relationships that he had, it wasn't the same, and I was, the only one that was close was Linda, but it was obvious that Priscilla Presley, didn't like when the types of because of that reason she was jealous, she was with a man study and had a son but still thought about Elvis.

Within a few days of Lisa Marie's burial she put on her roller skates and sped off to her lawyer's office to file court papers.She showed no compassion or consideration for Riley who was struck hard by losing her mother and just a few years ago her brother that she was very close to. It doesn't seem she cares that her only daughter died.She also brought Michael Lockwood who was uninvited to the funeral. He constantly tried to get more money out of Lisa Marie despite having signed a prenup.
His mother, his wife and his child had his heart but he couldn't change for anyone and he was never able to give e his attention to learning how to love and everything it takes to have a successful marriage. I recall reading that one can revise their Trust at any time. (The terms are different for a will, as a will is permanent.) Lisa had her estate in a Trust. "A California Revocable Living Trust is a trust (a legal contract) where the terms can be changed (or canceled ) the person who created the trust (the grantor) decides. As long as the Grantor is alive and has the mental capacity to make decisions, the income earned by the property held by the trust belongs the Grantor." I think Priscilla will lose in court, as Lisa had the legal right to make modifications to her trust.
My thought exactly I believe she was jealous of Lisa the only good thing priscilla did was save graceland not out of love or loyalty but because she knew there was money to be made. I feel sorry for Lisa losing her dad at the age of 9 and having to be forced to spend hours with Scientology because priscilla wanted them to fix her a loving mom would have taken their daughter to a licensed child psychologist. Lisa carried the pain of losing her dad but she spent her life protecting his name and legacy. Lisa always had a sadness to her especially after the death of her son. When I look at priscilla I see a fake and a fraud who hurt the Presley name through Scientology and now going up against Lisa’s wishes. They had a beautiful fairytale marriage, but as a celebrity it doesn’t mix there’s too many influencers out there. I strongly feel that if his mother was still alive during his career, he wouldn’t revert to do all that medication. His mom was a very strong Christian woman, and he absolutely adored her things would’ve been different. She never trusted his manager. He’s truly missed.

Again, sex, drugs and rock n roll don't add up to a good marriage, not to mention living with the Memphis Mafia! Many of them were true to Elvis, however, the others were a disgrace! How would you like being newly married and having all those men living in your home? Elvis was so generous to them but they took advantage of that.
