I'm afraid the barrel has two snap rings at the end of it and then the moderator was molded over them. Even if you got it to break free it would only spin and not pull off. You can get it off but you'll have to do some cutting and sanding/grinding to remove the plastic around the two snap rings

What's your advice in terms of steps to take? Thanks
Instead of sanding the drop block could you put a washer between the action and the o ring? So it would go dropblock-o ring-action? Might help with the timing.
A guy could replace the altogether with a delrin or acetal washer as long as it had a little meat on it to crush. If it was a little extra thick a guy could sand it down at home until it was timed right. Should be pretty rigid
Great easy to follow video. I have a question regarding the Ali express z valve. I turned the valve cc and it only goes to 1200 PSI. Any ideas that may help me? Thanks

@@luisvazquez9604 it's on my list. It's the same thread as the 88/90 gram co2 I believe. If it is I already have the adapter to put a regulated paintball tank on it
Have you modified the power level of your gun? It was kind of disappointing to see this but someone shot a can of spam at 50 yards and the PP 750 could not penetrate it except for the entrance. It left a dent on the back of the can. At 750 FPS I would’ve thought it would go through at least two cans. I’m thinking about purchasing one but I want to get the power up to 800 FPS or more. Have you tried doing any penetration test at 50 yards and 100 yards? If not, it would be interesting to see it.
Umarex advertised it at 12 fpe but everyone I know of gets around 18 fpe. You can get around 23 fpe out of a stock Notos by just turning the regulator up. You can even shim the hammer spring a little but the bad thing is it only gets like one mag before it's out of air. That's the number one reason I put a bottle on my other Notos. I believe you can hit 800 easy with a 14.3 grain pellet but pushing it faster with more air pressure took away a lot of accuracy on mine. I turned it back down to 18 fpe and its getting 100 shots per fill with the smaller 220cc bottle and I can hit a soup can at 100 yards. Even penetrates one side, but not the other. Can't get much better that that with an 11.75 inch barrel mass produced. I've got a Lother Walther barrel to put on one of them when I get time. I think it's like 19 inches long to should pick up a little power without using more air. A person could also try fitting an air stripper inside a moderator to help with the "dirty" air when the reg is turned up to 23 or 24 fpe. Might tighten up the groups but would still have a lousy shot count without a bottle

Biggest thing is being liable for any HPA related accidents to airguns or parts I've made. Willing to help with advice anytime though and share my experience with whatever I can
I don't but its easy. Remove the scope if there's one on it. See the screws in the picatiny rail in front of the breach? Remove those and look inside the holes. There is another screw under them. Remove those and the entire barrel, moderator, pic rail and shroud will slide out with a little twisting and wiggling
I see no reason you couldn't use one of the plenum kits available but you'd have to maybe do some work to get it to hang straight. As far as power I think 30 ish would be the upper end with such a short barrel. I think my 22 cal Origin cranked up but stock is 40 ish with a heavy slug and the barrel is a lot longer.
Does anyone know what thread size that is on part no. 66? I've seen those regulators you used on another auction site and wondered if they'd work on an Airforce (or Gunpower as they are over here in the UK) tank.
As far as I understand the Artemis pp750 has the same Barrel as your gun. Have you ever tried shooting light slugs with your gun? Currently my gun puts out around 10 FPE I'm going to try and get it to 14 FPE
@@surreallife777 its supposed to be made by the same factory so I would think it has the same barrel. Mine was putting out about 18 fpe and several others said the same thing. I know I adjusted the factory regulator up to around 2200 psi or a little more with a shim behind the hammer spring and got it up to 24 fpe with an 18 grain JSB. Tried a few different slugs in it with not so great power or accuracy. I think my best accuracy was with a 16 grain AirArms pellet at 18 fpe and did pretty well out to 100 yards. My friend Carl's did very well at 100 yards only with Crosman 14.3's. Not "benchrest" good but we hit a small tin can on a steel post with every shot from a sandbag. I'm thoroughly happy with that myself
I would appreciate your advice. It would save me a lot of time and mistakes as well as other people too. I just put an order in for the Artemis PP750. I would like to increase the FPS and FPE. There is a video out there called: “Artemis, PP750 power adjustment modifications.” Dan Geib. I’m not sure if you are familiar with the video. If you are, do you recommend that I follow his procedures? There are no extra parts purchased. It’s all about adjustments and drilling. After all the modifications, he got up to 800 FPS and 20 FPE. My concern is the shot count because I believe with 22 caliber JSB Hades in stock form the PP750 gets about 50 shots per fill. My concern is that it might takes the shot counts down to 20 shots which is not very many. Do you think it’s possible to get the same FPE and FPS numbers without losing too many shots per fill by following a different procedure in terms of modifications to the Gun as compared to what he did? It would be interesting if you could do a video with stage one modification video and a stage two modification video for the PP750. Thanks. Great videos by the way Michael
Yes, it would screw on with the barrel removed. At about 8 minutes and 30 seconds I start talk about how that would work. No video of that particular install though

@@Wickedstickyflowers you could possibly use a washer and sand it until its timed right. If anything is going to give you a problem its getting the oring to seal. Could probably stack the orings or use a bigger one. The factory oring isn't going seal if the washer has to be very thick. Kind of minor problems in the airgun world lol

I found a drop block adapter on ebay that looks similar but it comes in a long and a short version and i dont know which to get ? Any help/links would be greatly appreciated, thanks
There are no specific bottle adapters for the Notos. The gentleman at Airgun Archery & Fun was getting the part #66 from a vendor and matching them up to the Z-Valve found on Ali Express and selling them as a kit. Not sure if or when he would get them back in stock. There is a guy in the Notos FB group that does the conversion but needs the Notos in hand. Not sure if he can do it with only the part #66 off of your gun or not. If so that would be a lot cheaper than shipping the whole gun both ways
Sorry, I looked at my last message and it’s pretty long. I’ll make it shorter. Can you explain how you did all this? I would like to increase the FPS and FPE. There is a video out there called: “Artemis, PP750 power adjustment modifications.” Dan Geib. Have you ever considered modifying your gun? My concern is shot count. He is getting about 800 FPS and 20 FPE with these modifications. There are no extra parts. All he did was adjustments and some drilling. I don’t know how many shots he’s getting Per fill?
Not sure about the pp750 but the factory Notos is getting 18 fpe out of the box and just adjusting the regulator up a couple hundred psi will get you to 20 fpe without any modifications. A couple more hundred psi and it will get around 24 fpe but reduces shot count a lot. The next thing on my list is to add a new longer barrel
Where did you get your bottles from for this build? Do you happen to have a good link for them? Awesome video btw. I’m planning on doing a conversion to my notos and I’ve watched this video like 10 times lol

Watch this video and bought the notos, bottle, and the regulator. But can't get the regulator to hold air. I'm too dang frustrated and ready to go back to stock.
@@jesseyang1904 did you get the regulator only or did you get the regulator and part "66" already fit together? Sounds like it's just the oring between the reg and part "66". I changed the oring out with one of another size on one of mine and it sealed up. Maybe that's all it takes to fix yours.
I have two of these blocks, and was wondering what is your recommendation on making one them fit on my arm 2079. It's already have a paintball bottle on it, I want to be able to adjust it on the fly. Any suggestions will help.
I would probably get an externally adjustable paintball reg. I think they are around the same price. The problem with this one on your rig would be making and adapter to get it to either fit your block and it would probably hang to low or make an adapter to fit your airtube without the factory block. Not that difficult but you would have to do some machining. With the externally adjustable paintball reg it would be bolt on with no machining. I dont have a link but I'm sure you can find them on Ebay and Amazon
I miss spelled AR 2079. The action looks just like a Gauntlet, all the same parts and everything, the breech on this one is single shot, but the Gauntlet breech will fit it.
You would need to make an adapter to thread thread into this block and slip in the airtube of the pistol and pin it in place or use screws. If you get the block that comes with the PCP valve you could use it in place of the pistol valve
Teflon is most useful for tapered threads like pipe threads. Doesnt do as good a job on straight threads like these on the Notos. Not saying it couldn't be done but it would probably take a lot of tape and in the right place so that your still using enough threads to hold up to the high pressure
Can someone give me the distance between the centerlines of the intake and valve. I would like to use this part to make a bullboss bottle conversion (like a Hatsan airmax but with a plenum) but need to sort out if I can get away with the dimensions.
@@edlyli7166 I made a couple of adapters that could be installed at home without any machine work. They used a regulated paintball type bottle and worked really well. It just seems loud, although I'm not comparing it to another airgun. Probably just the nature of the beast. Gun is right around 86-88 db when shooting. Is that normal?
@@theobserver9565 don't have a decibel meter but I think I've heard others mention it being in the 90 db range. Could also be that the hammer striking the valve is right in front of your nose. Heat gun will not work
I'm afraid the barrel has two snap rings at the end of it and then the moderator was molded over them. Even if you got it to break free it would only spin and not pull off. You can get it off but you'll have to do some cutting and sanding/grinding to remove the plastic around the two snap rings

Tried a few different slugs in it with not so great power or accuracy.
I think my best accuracy was with a 16 grain AirArms pellet at 18 fpe and did pretty well out to 100 yards.
My friend Carl's did very well at 100 yards only with Crosman 14.3's.

Thanks.
Great videos by the way

Teflon is most useful for tapered threads like pipe threads. Doesnt do as good a job on straight threads like these on the Notos.
