When he's Jonathan, he's Jonathan. When he's in The Chosen, he is Jesus. I see him differently. That's what's good about him, I think.
His voice is so cool. You would love to listen even for hours.
I cannot say anything about the accent but the voice my God 😮that is really impressive. The voice and the peaceful talking. You feel he has got that faith and sharing it. I am a fan. This guy is a beautiful person inside and out🤍🕊💙🙏🏻

Johnathan is so eloquent, and precise with his answers. I love that he is so relaxed and sure of himself, and does not 'apologize' for his Catholic beliefs. So happy that he represents our faith so beautifully!

Are you aware of how the Catholic religion was created? I urge you to pick up a Bible and see for yourself. All the information is in there. Just an FYI, catholicism was created by the same Roman empire that persecuted jesus and his disciples. They wanted to destroy those who followed the law of Moses and the teachings of Jesus. Any religion that worships man (the pope) has NOTHING to do with the bible, jesus, and our father GOD.
I suggest you pick up a bible and read it while there is still time.

Big fan is an under statement...lol sorry. But it's my truth ...he is great and is meant to do this in my opinion. There's so many dynamics in this show that makes it so great. The chemistry between Jesus and the disciples is shown and portrayed so great, which makes the show more great. I'm excited for this season thank you Johnathan.

This show is teaching God's people patience. The show is going to come out when God says it's time not what man says. He's in control of time and everything we do. We do nothing of our own. I love this show and how God is communicating with us through the different scenes and seasons. It's very beautiful and humbling to know God cares for us that much. 🙏❤️

I am going to listen to the interview, but also going to point out an issue with your tag line.
You are not interviewing Jesus, are interviewing Jonathan.
There are sites out there delegating The Chosen because, for one, they think too many people equate Jonathon with Jesus, or that he IS Jesus.
We don't need to feed that rhetoric with misleading headlines.

In Jesus of Nazareth the actors spoke mainly with British accents, and with a few American accents thrown in. It was a beautiful movie, but the variety of accents was distracting to me. And yes, it wasn't Jewish enough.

The Chosen is an interpretation of events that took place over 2,000 years ago, so there is no way to get it 100% correct. They do a great job nonetheless.
Having all the actors have the same exact accent actually, is a bit distracting.
Have you ever asked even one of the people on the set from the Middle East if your accent is offensive? have you asked any of them if it is authentic? is it even close to what they would hear in the MIddle East? Try it sometime...you might be surprised by their answers and suggestions...dts/usa
If you read about the actor you will see that he is very experienced with the middle east and his father I believe is from Lebanon
His father is Egyptian and his paternal grandfather was born in Syria

They are moved because of what the Spirit has done through Jonathan. The Spirit and Jonathan clearly know he is not Jesus. That is why he tells them not to bow and that he's a fellow imperfect person.

I was so DISAPPOINTED when I found out Jonathan was a Roman Catholic.
Not only is that religion teaching false doctrine, it was created by the very Roman's who persecuted Jesus and killed thousands of Christians!😢
Jesus was a Hebrew man! Christianity truly didn’t come into it’s full religion until 313 A.D. under Emperor Constantine. The Romans were still in power but their Regime actually faded in the mid to late 5th Century 476 A.D. to be exact. They Ruled from 8th century B.C. until 5th Century A.D.; approximately 1000 years of rule. Christianity truly began to blossom without reprisals in the late 5th Century.

It was AD 320 , not 313 when Constantine signed the Edict Of Tolerance that legalized Christian worship and practice.
You're also forgetting that in the 4th Century AD The Roman Empire was moved from Imperial Rome to Byzantium.
When Rome West fell, Rome East took over.
