@Zach Peach Fortunately, Baard plays a lot lighter, with only the two drum fills and largely focusing on ghost notes for this segment of the song, which is what makes it resonate so strongly with me. The same restraint applies to the epic drudging outro, where the cello gets its moment to shine.

Finally a good quality live version! I didn't get this song at first having heard only studio version. Solid song, but I didn't understand this a bit too long ending that felt like it was part of something else. But after experiencing (key word since you cannot see it, hear it of feel it but one must experience it) this performed live I totally get it. Usually after any good gig you think they could play this or that song but you just go on with your life. But when they were closing gig in Krakow with this gem, loosing their sh*t with choreographed-like headbanging I remember wishing they will continue for at least half an... forever
I think exactly the same. I found the end dragging, and the vocal line too monotonous. Then I experienced it live and it clicked. The song builds and builds tension, safe for a momentary release with the guitar solo, and the ending hits you like an earthquake. It's like watching a massive red giant explode in slow motion, magnificent, powerful, inesorable.
Hearing this song on the album was amazing to begin with, but seeing it live was absolutely mind-boggling. I love the aggression in Einar's voice and the way he seems to want to outrun the instruments. I remember, after the outro finished and all that was left was the cello and the choir, I felt like I was suspended in mid-air, floating, wondering whether this has truly just happened. Never experienced something like this on any other concert I've been to.

That band wide chord change at 6:36 hits like a fucking truck. Chills throughout my body every. Damned. Time!!!
Such a good track
This song live blew me away last year. The last part...so intense, so heavy. Absolutely incredible, I'm getting goosebumbs all over...again!
I LOVE the solo. Sounds better even than the album version
this song was way better without forced ads in the middle of it
This sounds even better thsn the studio version...which is already an insane piece of music. Can't wait to see the live in London on Dec the 4th
Totally agree! That outro combined with that lighting... it took my breath away.
This is the anthem for 2020.
I love this band so much!
Leprous, Agent Fresco and Port Noir are absolutely perfection! \m/
Without Port Noir really
Merci Baard, merci Leprous...vous me gardez en vie par cet unique chef d'œuvre. Mon Âme est transcendée, j'en pleure de joie et d'émotion. Merci Merci Merci. 1 milliards de Merci...😭❤️
These guys are incredibly live!!!!
4:42 am while hearing this. I think I just became a feral dark entity. This is the most amazing thing I've watched and listen in a WHILE.
The Pitfalls tour show was one of the best shows I have ever witnessed.
Same here! If not THE best
This song is nutritionally complete
Absolutely worth it bumpig my head on one of those videographers!
Gotta see them live
