    Strange you tourist taste more food than we Norwegians do hehe I have never eat any chell in Bergen it is som you you tourits find haha :) And i live in Bergen.

    Just a tip for other tourists. For local residents "Mathallen" on the fish market just looks like an overpriced store for food you can get a lot cheaper elsewhere. Bergen has "tourist traps" like everywhere else. The fish market is one of them. I don't say you shouldn't buy anything there ... just be aware of the price level and the fact that you are paying more for the same stuff than you would do somewhere else.

      Yes Norway is super welcoming! And pretty much everyone spoke English which helped make travel easier.

      As a tourist you are generally very safe in Bergen. Probably the worst thing you can do is going out a friday or saturday night dressed in fotball supporter clothes from a rivaling city. Besides that ... enjoy your stay 🙂

    When you travel to Norway and other nordic countries. Does your US-based credit cards work ?

      As long as it has a pin code or chip yes. Mastercards work all over the world.
