I mean, locomotives have been for about half a century at least. electric motors have torque to hell and back, and if the engine is going to just produce electricity it can be made very efficient, light, reliable etc. and there can be a token amount of battery storage for parking lots and the like.

As the Nopal X tumbled down the hill after hitting the ramp, I noticed that the back caved in, almost like the original Nopal. Then I imagined an ad campaign for a new Nopal (in-universe) that has a modernized version of the body style (maybe not exact body) and fixtures of the original Nopal but performance and production value closer to that of the Nopal X that features the Nopal X jumping off a ramp and tumbling down a hill as the body gets smashed against the ground, shaping it roughly into a wacky hatchback shape before it cuts to the bottom of the hill as the new Nopal (Nopal Classic is the name I imagine) lands on its wheels in a corny/majestic way. I just put way too much thought into this, and I kind of want to make it if I could.
I have some bad news for you, that $26.9k in the markets in 6:58 is not accurate to the total car production cost in any way, and the car itself could have been much more with it's actual cost, for that see the overall stats after suspension
Maybe they're just sold at a loss? lol. But yeah I was mainly going off final materials cost as I didn't notice that overall cost one tucked away in there at the time. I made some luxury additions to the model that is being released and all in all its about 45k. Still not terrible imo.
This should get a facelift 5-6 years later with a DCT, Launch Control and an engine with 800-1000 cc. Polish out some quirks and give it the 2010s Treatment!
i think making it heavier could actually make it handle better and not slide as much as there is more waight pressing down on the weels, just my humble opinion

Funnily, I decided to build a mid-engine 3 cylinder turbo charged sports car in Automation. Making it look similar to a super car from around the 2007 era. Oddly enough, with like 350 HP and with how cheap it was material wise, the Automation market thing gave it really high stats and it drove amazing since the body design was meant for something way larger and more powerful. If I remember right the engine was called the Pixie and the car was called the Imposter.
I feel like your hunt for high speed downforce is a core misunderstanding of what the car should do - you wouldn't see a Miata handle a turn at those speeds, but in slower speeds, it handles brilliantly.
For under 30K imagine how many people would finance this car and be an absolute terror on the streets. People fresh out of college doing 150 on the interstate lmao.

I made a little and powerful engine inline 3. And what I did to get a better start, is changing Idle RPMs in the BeamNG file. To set it higher, like 9 000, the engine was reving at 12 000... 😅😆
This car definitely holds a fair chance against some of the cars on the block. Though I gurantee if this was a real car, a lot of people would ironically buy it. (P.s A car idea to work off inspiration wise, the Suzuki Jimny or one of their other models)

Also regarding the game Automation I can't import car files from my old PC, the files people tell me to put them into are nowhere to be found. Also I can't find the files of the cars I already built on this new PC, where are they, where do car files of cars I build go? Of course I found the Steamlibrary Automation file, but I can't find aynthing car file related inside. Please somebody help!
I'm not sure I can help with the computer getting hot, but for the latter question make sure you have "show hidden files" enabled or else you can't access them. If you already do, then just create the files in the designated directory and try placing them in there.
As a long time viewer, I feel compelled to tell you that out of all the new transmission options, you picked the only one that isn't used in production cars... twice. A rough guide: Sports cars and up dual clutch, wannabe sports cars and down advanced auto and continuous, full blown racecars sequential, anything pre 2000's automatic, all of the above manual. As with anything, there are a few outliers, but sequentials really aren't, as even the production cars that have/had them are/were racing focused. Caterham and Radical are the only ones that still use them. Auto manuals were only on a few cars and they never worked out as they had all the downsides of an auto (slower gear changes than a manual at the time) and all the downsides of a manual (computer controlled clutch that never engaged fast enough from a stop). If you were trying to park or start on a hill they were very, very bad.
@@ConsiderGaming If you aren't going for anything super realistic don't worry too much about it. I just find that in Beam using different transmissions changes how a car acts, and the quality sliders can change a lot of that as well.

Hi! Usually when cars have lots of power it has some sort of all-wheel drive on demand. That helps starting the car from 0 kmh way way faster
